It may be difficult for some to search through the various discussions in this group in a logical order. Even though the first papers are numbered, it is easy to be distracted by some of the other issue based discussions. Accordingly, I have taken a few minutes to put them in some kind of order easily accessed in one place.
Some of these links will ask you to redirect to papers published at Canada Free Press. No worry, simply click the link to learn and grow.
Part of our problem today is the vast amount of misinformation which is accepted as truth. Misinformation is like Hemlock; an effective poison even in small quantities. Like Hemlock, misinformation can be added to truth to produce devastating results. Without an understanding of the basic concepts of our Constitution, the People themselves perpetuate these falsehoods to their own peril. Believing they are acquiring knowledge, they are perpetuating fraud. Not only are we drinking Hemlock, we are going back for refills !
With a little effort YOU can understand the Constitution and the proper application of it better than most federal judges and ALL current elected Congressmen. You CAN bolster your "immune system" to fight off misinformation. You however, are responsible for your own intellectual health!
The ORDER in which we learn is just as critical as the CONTENT. If I try to grasp Calculus before I master Division, the results will be diminished. If I then try to TEACH calculus, the results will be disastrous. ORDER MATTERS!
Then, armed with the basic knowledge gained from the above, learn more of the details AND the DEFENSES built into the Constitution...
Now YOU are equipped to RECOGNIZE and contend with specific issues:
Folks these essays are NOT written in "legalese" or "words of art". Publius has organized and simplified the Constitution in a straight forward, no-nonsense manner. The papers are brief, clear and concise. The author has no AGENDA per se. That is; Unlike today's politicians, she does not gain by your loss- if you lose we ALL lose- if YOU win we ALL win (except the usurpers).
Please make the investment to read these papers and help us restore "to ourselves and our posterity, the Blessings of Liberty".
Tyranny will not be defeated with ignorance and conformity but with knowledge and reformation. Arm yourself with TRUTH or suffer the indignities of IGNORANCE and COMPLACENCY ! Self governance means PRECISELY what it implies. The politicians ARE NOT going to do it for you !
If not YOU- WHO?
If not NOW- WHEN?

Comment by Publius Huldah on December 29, 2012 at 8:36am In the Book of Judges, God fixes a land [after the People have repented] by sending them a great leader (judge).
It is a sad commentary on mankind, but it seems that what a People must have is a great leader; and that such is the only way people can be steered in the right direction.
The defining characteristics of sheep are (1) they are stupid and (2) they will follow anything anywhere. They actually will follow a dog off a cliff. [I have goats - they are fairly intelligent by comparison.]
Maybe that is why people are so desperate to believe that Marco Rubio is "the one". They crave for a "leader" who will lead them out of this mess.
God sent us George Washington - a man people were willing to follow. I don't understand what characteristic leaders have which makes people follow them. Why do the people follow this person and not that person?
Whatever it is that George Washington, Hitler, Lenin, Mao, etc. had in common is what people look for and crave. Charisma?
The English aristocracy was, during the 17th & 18th centuries, a debauched & ill mannered lot. Depraved, really. William S. Lind commented that it was Queen Victoria who, by her example, improved the manners and morals of the English aristocracy.
Comment by Mark on December 28, 2012 at 7:08pm It seems a difficult thing to educate such a large portion of our society. If we start with the children in school, we ignore those who are shaping policy and when the "students" arrive on the scene they will be forced to understand how what they learned is opposite of what is occurring. If we educate in the reverse, we must overcome the money and time spent by the "experts" and 'law makers' in learning the lies and their desire to protect their "investment".
We have abandoned the principles gradually over 100 years. I fear it may take as long to restore and that is time we simply do not have.
Comment by Publius Huldah on June 11, 2012 at 7:44am And Mark, we need to find a way to make this easy & short.
Comment by Publius Huldah on February 21, 2012 at 10:24am OK, then, I'll start a discussion on the enumerated powers of the federal courts.
Comment by Publius Huldah on February 21, 2012 at 10:23am Completely true: The States may draw the lines for the congressional districts within their respective States however they wish! The State of Texas should tell the federal courts to take a hike when they attempt to interfere in Texas' redistricting. In fact, if I were governor of Texas, I would tell the federal courts,
"The sovereign State of Texas refuses to subject it's Retained Power to redistrict as it sees fit, to the tender mercies of some usurping panty-waist federal judge who became a judge because he didn't have the brains and guts to become a real lawyer."
Or words to that effect. But I expect Rick "Clueless" Perry is participating in the litigation and bowing & scraping before the federal judge.
Comment by Mark on February 21, 2012 at 8:59am Ditto. The people need to understand that the federal courts are limited in jurisdiction to hear only constitutionally listed cases. THIS will help in (1) quelling the fervor to "get" cases before SCOTUS, and (2) help them to recognize the plethora of cases for which their is no constitutional basis to be heard by that court.
PH, you are not teaching them the rules for writing and submitting a Writ of Certiorari or anything. Your paper is perfectly understandable IF it is read in proper order. It affirms a government of enumerated powers.
Comment by Land Shark aka Bob E on February 20, 2012 at 9:56am I have read it many times. The first time was very understandable. After facilitating three study group classes, that one paper has been presented in the 4th class every single time and no class members seem to have any particular difficulty with it. When you present the real life applications in the paper, it sure helps to clear up misconceptions. This past week, in class, for example, we gave the example of federal courts interferring into our (Texas's) redistricting process.............unlawfully.
Comment by Publius Huldah on February 20, 2012 at 8:25am I don't think I ever posted that paper on TPN. I feared it was too "technical" for people - and the truth is, I never paid attention to the list of enumerated powers of the federal courts [we didn't have The Constitution in law school] until we won a case before the State supreme court and the loser filed a petition for writ of cert to SCOTUS. So that is when I learned about supreme Court jurisdiction. The point is that the jurisdiction (power to hear and decide cases) of the federal courts is limited & defined & enumerated by the list at Art. III, Sec. 2, cl. 1. If you two and anybody else who reads this post would study it and make notes of what you think needs clarification, etc., it would help me re-write it for a more popular level.
Comment by Land Shark aka Bob E on February 20, 2012 at 5:10am Thanks, Mark. Will revise my "Course in a Kit" accordingly.
Comment by Mark on February 19, 2012 at 7:26pm Good Call Land Shark ! See Item # 6 in revised list.
Comment by Land Shark aka Bob E on February 19, 2012 at 5:47am Would you put the "Enumerated Powers of the Court" in there somewhere? Or prefer to leave that for a more advanced class?
Comment by Publius Huldah on January 9, 2012 at 7:32pm Thank you, Mark!
