CAP: Colorado Action Patriots! I asking 3 things of you in 2011.

Dear Patriots,

I formed this group and titled it with the word "ACTION" in it for a very specific reason in mind. To turn my group into a group that acts. Not at all putting anyone down for not acting. I formed it and took a step out of my comfort zone during these past several years of dramatic and heavy political activity (on both the Tea Party side and the progressive side). There seems to be an accelerated pace which has made me very, very concerned. Not fearful but merely being sober minded in what I continue to read and watch on TV on a daily basis.

There are 3 immediate actions I am asking of you all:

1. Be willing to protest. You don't have to expend much gas as I will only be asking you to protest in your area and with a local group of Tea Party/9-12 patriots. I'm not asking for loud and certainly not violent protests. Just the peaceful protests like our movement has been like from it's beginning 3 years ago. These protests will not be regular and it most likely not be with other CAP's group members. I don't care if CAP's gets credit for an increased activity. I just want to do my part to increase our response's politically.

2. Be willing to write or call to your congressperson both state and federal. And you don't have to write but a small paragraph sharing at least one main point you are concerned with. This usually involves a proposed or voted upon bill.

3. Be willing to look for opportunities to either grow this group or to add members to your local group. That to me is action for sure.

I am not asking for all three to be done all in the same month. Only that you do what you can that is just one single small step outside of your comfort zone. I am not asking for any promises.

Although my time and resources are limited, I will be happy to take part in the southeast (I25/Arapahoe Road) area. As much advance notice as possible please.

FYI: James are you involved in any 9-12 or Tea Party group? I will certainly send you info just as soon as it comes across my computer. I don't catch all the events that are happening by far. But if I can get people to post events or go to http://www.libertyevents.org/events/ that will be great. Sometimes not all events get posted to this the Liberty Events website. And since this is a statewide group I can only attend those events near me.

Agreed, I live in COS (Academy and I-25) and work at Ft Carson, I just ask for advance notice and Task and Purpose statement.

If we need unified talking points for the press I will help write them.

I will be posting more often, way more often. All you guys have to do is check in every day or every couple of days. I'm pissed and I'm motivated to get moving. I just cannot wait for others to move. I'm moving. Do what you can. I hope to give you links to read for the SB200 - Colorado HC Exchanges and their dangers via top notch writers.
