A total of three bimbos have emerged thus far to level accusations of sexual harassment against President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee, Judge Brett Kavanaugh. This 11th-hour attack coordinated by the Saul Alinsky Left is nothing short of a mockery of the Senate confirmation process. Americans know a pile-on when they see it.
Kavanaugh’s true transgression, in the eyes of the Democrats: his principled belief in applying the law according to “history, tradition, and precedent.”
Some suggest that the smear campaign against Kavanaugh draws inspiration from the “Me Too” movement of supposedly self-empowered yet perpetually victimized women storming the public sphere. But the very name of the movement reveals its method: the surging and chaotic power of an unaccountable, faceless flash mob.
While Republicans hold a majority of Senate seats, they must resist their usual “white knight” tendencies, grow a spine, and quickly vote to confirm Kavanaugh to the bench. Otherwise, the GOP can look forward to the transformation of Kavanaugh’s name into a verb in the same vein as Judge Robert Bork.
