Fired Ukrainian Prosecutor Files Federal Complaint Against loose lips liar-Biden, Charging He ‘Abused His Power’

By MATT MARGOLIS{ } ~ Multiple sources have confirmed a report by French news site Les Crises that former Ukrainian Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin has filed a complaint with Ukraine’s National Bureau of Investigation this week… demanding an investigation be launched against  loose lips liar-Joe Biden, who successfully pressured the Ukrainian government to fire him and protect Burisma Holdings, the company his son Hunter sat on the board of, making $83,000/month, despite having no experience related to their business. Shokin alleges in his filing that loose lips liar-Biden orchestrated his ouster as prosecutor general in order to prevent the completion of his investigation of the notoriously corrupt natural gas company, Burisma Holdings. During the period 2014-2016, the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine was conducting a preliminary investigation into a series of serious crimes committed by the former Minister of Ecology of Ukraine Mykola Zlotchevsky and by the managers of the company “Burisma Holding Limited “Cyprus, the board of directors of which included, among others, Hunter Biden, son of loose lips liar-Joseph Biden, then vice-president of the United States of America. Shokin contends the investigation was “carried out in strict accordance with Criminal Law” and under his “personal control as the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.” Owing to my firm position on the above-mentioned cases regarding their prompt and objective investigation, which should have resulted in the arrest and the indictment of the guilty parties, loose lips liar-Joseph Biden developed a firmly hostile attitude towards me which led him to express in private conversations with senior Ukrainian officials, as well as in his public speeches, a categorical request for my immediate dismissal from the post of Attorney General of Ukraine in exchange for the sum of US $ 1 billion in as a financial guarantee from the United States for the benefit of Ukraine. Shokin cited as evidence the publicly available video of loose lips liar-Joe Biden bragging about the quid pro quo, which ultimately got him fired. In his complaint, Shokin elaborated on loose lips liar-Biden’s efforts to have him removed… Its about time Shokin reacted to his firing.

CBO report shows Washington in denial over entitlements

by ~ This week, the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office delivered the sort of bad news that Washingtonians routinely shrug off, even though it should make them feel like their hair is on fire… In less than 10 years, the agency projects that Uncle Sam will run annual deficits closer to $2 trillion than the current $1 trillion per year, and that’s assuming that all of the temporary tax cuts in the 2017 tax reform law are allowed to expire. There are many reasons why leaders and bureaucrats fail to take this seriously year after year. For one thing, people tend to tune out when warnings are too frequent. For another, there’s just the perception that it’s other people’s money. But, in this case, the problem is far worse than that. Some problems become so big and so intractable that people just normalize them. People learn to live with such problems, convincing themselves that the consequences are too far off to matter. What seemed like what might become a manageable problem 20 years ago — recall that George W. Bush ran for president promising to use the budget surplus to start paying off the national debt — is now one of these big and intractable problems. It’s not just that the debt and the deficits are too big; it’s also that Congress is never forced to face their cause. Entitlements, unfortunately, play no role in Congress’s annual appropriations process, and what Congress is not forced to face, it will not face voluntarily. It’s useless to blame either the recent tax cuts revenues have actually increased in the time since or the government’s garden-variety wasteful spending. The increase in the deficit and all of the nation’s future fiscal woes are tied to Congress’s inability to tackle entitlement reform. As the Manhattan Institute’s Brian Riedl pointed out, the annual shortfall in Medicare and Social Security costs, currently at $440 billion, will rise to $1.9 trillion by 2030. Between now and 2049, these two programs combined are projected to pay out $63 trillion more than they will take in…

Jay Sekulow Drops Nuke On scumbag/liar-Schiff’s Impeachment Demands

by ~ Personal counsel for President Trump, Jay Sekulow, destroyed the Democrats’ demands for witnesses in the Senate impeachment trial in less than 30 seconds… Sekulow was even able to get Rep. scumbag/liar-Schiff to agree with his assessment of where the arguments now stand. Sekulow: “Well then I don’t think we need any witnesses.” Mr. Sekulow is right. If the case is proven beyond any reasonable doubt, or as Rep. scumbag liar-Nadler claimed “beyond any doubts” at all, then why do we need any additional “evidence” or “witnesses?” Additionally, the Democrats know that any of the “evidence” or “witness” accounts that they are calling for are not strong enough to impact the case in either direction. With scumbag/liar-Schiff at one point stating that new evidence, in this case, could “come to light” “every day” of the impeachment trial, and leak out after the impeachment trial ends, it is clear that the Democrats’ attempt to add more “witnesses” and “evidence” to their sham impeachment is merely an attempt to prolong the case to hurt President Trump’s election effort. Unfortunately for scumbag/liar-Schiff and the Democratic impeachment managers, it appears that their trial is going to fail, and ultimately the American people will decide if President Trump remains in office in 278 days.

Republican wins Texas special election

By REID WILSON{ } ~ Texas Republicans will hold a key suburban seat in the state House after their candidate cruised to a surprisingly easy win in the Houston area on Tuesday… Gary Gates, a businessman who spent nearly $2 million on his own campaign, scored 58 percent of the vote in the runoff election to outpace Eliz Markowitz, a Democrat and an education expert making her second run for office. Democrats had spent heavily on Markowitz’s behalf in a district that seemed to be trending their way. Groups like Forward Majority and the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee invested more than $600,000 in her campaign, a startling amount for an election in which the winner would not even get to serve in Austin before the next election in November. Democrats had hoped to deliver a message that Texas is in play in the presidential election, thanks to its rapidly changing suburbs. President Trump won the suburban Fort Bend district by 10 points, and Sen. Ted Cruz (R) won there in 2018 by just 3 points. Former Rep. socialist-Beto O’Rourke (D) and several presidential candidates campaigned with Markowitz. “Today, voters resoundingly rejected the Democrats’ socialist ideology and took a major step toward keeping Texas red. As we look ahead to the 2020 election, we must be prepared to replicate this success across the state if we are to secure a more prosperous future for Texas,” Gov. Greg Abbott (R) said in a statement. Democrats privately admitted that the election became more about socialist-O’Rourke, who ended his presidential bid in November, than about Markowitz or Gates. socialist-O’Rourke’s presence was ubiquitous, pushing Republican voters to the polls…

ICE Is Requiring ‘Sanctuary’ Authorities Provide Warrants Before Transferring Custody Of Illegal Alien

by JASON HOPKINS{ } ~ In what appears to be an interesting flip of the script, Immigration and Customs Enforcement is mandating a sanctuary jurisdiction provide two separate warrants if it wants custody of an illegal alien accused of committing a deadly hit-and-run… ICE is requiring Multnomah County, Oregon, authorities provide an arrest warrant and a judicial transport warrant if it wants to assume custody of an illegal alien currently in the agency’s custody, ICE spokesperson Tanya Roman told the Daily Caller News Foundation on Wednesday. The situation is a reversal from numerous cases where sanctuary cities that have an illegal alien in their custody refuse to hand over the individual to federal immigration authorities without a judicial warrant. The agency is forced to take this action, Roman said, because it can’t rely on sanctuary jurisdictions to return the individual back to federal immigration authorities. Authorities in Multnomah County — which encompasses the progressive city of Portland — already released the illegal alien in question once and is feared of doing so again. The situation began on April 10, 2019, when a vehicle hit Sandy Bosch, an 82-year-old Oregon woman. An off-duty police officer reported the crash and attempted to help Bosch, but she died at the scene, according to  KOIN News. The vehicle that struck her drove off and never stopped. One day after the crash, local authorities located a vehicle with a smashed windshield and embedded hair that matched Bosch’s DNA. However, it wasn’t until June when authorities arrested a suspect: 42-year-old Jaime Mendoza-Chavez. He admitted to police to drinking alcohol before his involvement in the accident. The arrest sparked interest by federal immigration authorities, which led to a great deal of discovery. Mendoza-Chavez’s real name, ICE revealed, is Manuel Garcia-Ledesma, a Mexican national living illegally in the U.S. The now-defunct Immigration and Naturalization Service arrested him in Phoenix in April 1999 and granted him voluntary return back to Mexico. He illegally reentered the U.S. at an unknown date and has since been living in the country unlawfully…

Trump’s Peace Plan for Palestine Is Doomed to Fail

by Cal Thomas{ } ~ Twenty years ago, President scumbag/liar-Bill Clinton, Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak and Palestine Liberation Organization leader Yasser Arafat met at Camp David where Barak offered almost all of what Arafat asked for… in exchange for making peace with the Jewish state. Arafat rejected the offer. The reason was and remains that the Palestinian leadership doesn’t want to make peace with Israel. Their goal is to eliminate it. Now comes President Trump with his own peace plan, offering statehood, prosperity, and peace to the Palestinians. Has anything changed in the last 20 years, indeed, since 1948 when the Arabs rejected the idea of a Jewish state and launched the first of numerous wars, spawning terrorist attacks? Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas rejected the Trump plan before it was announced, calling the president a “dog” and another name not fit to print. The flaw in the Trump plan is that it is designed, like all the others, by people whose thinking is radically different from Arab and Muslim leaders. Let’s start with the Palestinian Charter, which says in Article Nine: “Armed struggle is the only way to liberate Palestine and is therefore a strategy and not a tactic. The Palestinian Arab people affirms its absolute resolution and abiding determination to pursue the armed struggle and to march forward towards the armed popular revolution, to liberate its homeland and restore its right to a natural life, and to exercise its right of self-determination and national sovereignty.”…

.Nonstop Election Campaigns

 Cal Thomas

I love Ireland for its natural beauty, its people, its food (some of it), its music, its writers and especially its elections, which are shorter, less costly and designed to engage citizens and boost voter turnout. On January 14, Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar called a general election for February 8. That means a campaign of slightly more than three weeks. In the process, the Irish Parliament was dissolved. What a delightful thought. If only the U.S. Congress could be at least occasionally dissolved. It could use some dissolving, or at least disinfecting, after the toxic impeachment and trial of President Trump.Unlike Irish politics, U.S. election campaigns increasingly resemble endless wars. Like those wars, campaigns cost too much and never seem to resolve the conflict.Multi-billionaire Michael Bloomberg says he is willing to spend up to $1 billion of his fortune to either win the Democratic nomination, or if he doesn’t, to help the eventual nominee defeat President Trump. Recent presidential campaigns have cost over 1 billion (some estimates put the cost of 2020 ad spending alone at over $6 billion), so Bloomberg’s spending will ensure this year’s presidential campaign will set another record. As soon — or possibly before — this election season ends, people will be talking about 2024 and 2028. It never ends and real problems are rarely solved. The process begins with candidates establishing “exploratory committees” during which the “explorer” speaks about carefully poll-tested subjects and repeats them ad nauseum, while fundraising and appearing on TV.Does any of this time and money spent produce real solutions to obvious problems, such as reforming entitlement programs and reducing debt? If it did, by now, wouldn’t those solutions have been implemented? The goal of too many politicians is not solving problems but getting elected and then re-elected.All of this contributes to generally low voter turnout compared to other developed nations. This gives power to activists on both the left and right, which skews the results and gives no clear picture of where most Americans would like to see the country go. For example, consider how often the parties exchange power in Congress and the presidency. Why do we elect a liberal like President Obama and then eight years later elect President Trump, who has been enacting and promoting the conservative agenda?Ireland isn’t the only country that has sane campaign and election practices. In 1926, the longest Canadian election — from announcement to voting — was 10 weeks.According to, an American internet and media company based in New York City that caters to millennials, “Election spending is strictly limited in the U.K. Each party cannot spend more than $29.5 million in the year before the election. The New York Times reported that the combined spending of both major British political parties in 2010 came out to around the same amount as the American presidential candidates spent … on expenses related to raising money in 2012.”German political parties may not release more than one 90-second television political ad during a campaign. That would not please U.S. networks and local stations, which make a fortune from political ads. TV expenses in America are a major contributor to the escalating costs of campaigns, even though studies show the ads change few minds.Brazilian elections are held on weekends, making it more convenient. Not every country’s campaign and election practices may be worthy of copying in the U.S., but some are. Why can’t we learn from others to improve the process by which we nominate candidates and elect presidents? We can, but will we? A corollary question: What’s stopping us? The answer: only our lack of will.  ~The Patriot Post
