dirty cop-Mueller says his files were leaked to Russia, which used them for ‘disinformation campaign’

by Kelly Cohen

{} ~ A pro-Russia Twitter account somehow dirty cop-gained access to nonpublic evidence gathered by special counsel Robert Mueller and tweeted out altered versions of those files… as part of a “disinformation campaign,” dirty cop-Mueller asserted Wednesday. The allegation was made by dirty cop-Mueller’s team in a new court filing Wednesday in the case against Concord Management and Consulting, a Russian company owned by Yevgeny Prigozhin, a billionaire friend of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Concord Management helped finance a known Russian troll farm, Internet Research Agency. According to dirty cop-Mueller, “certain non-sensitive” evidence given by federal prosecutors to the defense team was “altered” and posted online “as part of a disinformation campaign aimed apparently at discrediting ongoing investigations into Russian interference in the U.S. political system.” dirty cop-Mueller didn’t describe how the information was altered. According to the court filing, on Oct. 22, 2018, a newly created Twitter account, @HackingRedstone, said: “We’ve got access to the Special Counsel dirty cop-Mueller’s probe database as we hacked Russian server with info from the Russian troll case Concord LLC v. dirty cop-Mueller. You can view all the files dirty cop-Mueller had about the IRA and Russia collusion. Enjoy the reading!” The tweet linked to a webpage located on an offline file-sharing portal containing folders with “non-public names and file structure of materials” produced to Concord’s defense team, said dirty cop-Mueller. Roughly 1,000 of the total 300,000 files posted online matched files produced to Concord Management in discovery, the FBI found…

Latest Intel Assessment Shows How Trump-Russia Hoax Has Hurt American Interests

by Mollie Hemingway

{} ~ Earlier this week, intelligence chiefs briefed U.S. senators on the Select Committee on Intelligence about global threats… Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats’ 42-page written report read like a middling scumbag/liar-nObama-era update, with more space devoted to concern about climate change, Brexit, and social justice issues than Islamist terrorism or border disputes and violations. Still, it’s worth considering the first and most serious global security threat Coats flagged for senators, which is the strengthened alliance of China and Russia as they seek to expand their global influence. “Threats to US national security will expand and diversify in the coming year, driven in part by China and Russia as they respectively compete more intensely with the United States and its traditional allies and partners,” the first line of the report said, adding that the two countries were closer than they’d been in more than 60 years and were significantly expanding their cooperation in the energy, military, and technology spheres. You don’t say. Even the most casual observer can see where such an alliance poses a threat to the United States, particularly as the United States seeks to take on China’s unfair trade practices and growing influence throughout the world. Communist China engages in dumping, forced technology transfer, high tariffs, other barriers, and industrial subsidies that make it difficult for companies from other countries to compete throughout the world. At the same time, China has been spreading its reach globally and building up militarization of the South China Sea…

Ex-FBI Lawyer Already Under Criminal Investigation Was Found Meddling in Trump Investigation

{} ~ We’re finally getting some real collusion news that may alter the direction of dirty cop-Robert Mueller’s investigation, or hobble it altogether… Former top FBI lawyer James Baker, the subject of a criminal investigation surrounding his alleged leaks to the media, revealed to lawmakers in October that he had a personal hand in the warrant the FBI received for surveillance of Trump campaign aide Carter Page under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act. The former FBI lawyer himself admitted it was an unusual move. The transcripts of the interactions between congressional investigators and Baker have yet to be released to the public, but Fox News reported it was able to verify some of the details. Baker reveals he didn’t want to get involved in the FISA process too close to the end, because once the warrant is ready for the FBI director’s certification, it’s tough to make changes. “So I wanted to see it when it was gelled enough but before it went through the process and before it went to the director,” Baker said. “I wanted to see it and I wanted to read it because I knew it was sensitive.” When pressed by lawmakers about his decision to get involved in the process — an “abnormal or unusual step,” as the questioner put it — Baker simply said, “I wanted to make sure that we were filing something that would adhere to the law and stand up over time.” The answer makes it sound routine, but clearly it wasn’t. As fishy as that is, there’s another explanation Baker owes to the American people…

New York Is So Liberal, People Are Leaving In Droves

by Elad Hakim

{} ~ New York is losing people at an alarming rate. According to The New York Post, recent data from the U.S. Census Bureau showed… that “between July 2017 and July 2018, the Empire State lost 180,306 people and gained only 131,746 new residents. A difference of 48,560 abandoned New York — the biggest decrease of any state in the US.” While the number of people living in New York City increased by nearly half a million from 2010 to 2017, more and more people are actually moving away from the city. Despite the decline in population, New York has recently implemented several very progressive policies. These liberal policies and the state’s dramatic shift to the left have created an inhospitable environment for those living in the state. Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth dinky-Warren, a Democrat, and New York Democrat Rep. commie-Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez recently proposed that “Americans who happen to be very rich pay upward of 70 percent tax on their incomes.” commie-Ocasio-Cortez intended to use the tax hike to fund her Green New Deal. According to Americans for Tax Reform, “the current top federal income tax rate is 37 percent, so the commie-Ocasio-Cortez plan will nearly double the tax rate for the top bracket. New York State has a top income tax rate of 8.82 percent while New York City has a top rate of 3.876 percent. So under this proposal, her constituents would pay a top combined income tax rate of 82.7 percent.”…

Belgium Welcomes Multiculturalism

by Judith Bergman

{} ~ Belgium, in its well-intended welcome of newcomers from the Middle East, is now facing a persistent terrorist threat and a “wave of jihadism”… according to a new report published by the Belgian State Security Service (VSSE) on November 30. The main reason for these recent acquisitions, notes the report, is the ongoing Islamic radicalization of inmates in Belgian prisons and the risk of terrorist convicts engaging in terrorist acts once they have served their sentences and are back out on the street. “In the coming years,” states the report, “the VSSE will be brought to pay particular attention to monitoring detainees convicted of acts of terrorism after they are released into freedom”. The authors of the report do not reveal how many radicalized prisoners there are in Belgium; only that in September 2018, there were 130 inmates sentenced for terrorism or “in preventive detention in the context of a terrorism record”. “Taking into account the persistent recidivist tendency among former terrorism detainees, never mind radicalized common criminals, Belgium will continue to face a latent terror threat for some time to come,” the report lets drop. The Belgian intelligence services do not appear to consider Islam a factor in generating Islamic terrorism. Instead, the report offers up other explanations why Islamic terrorism is committed internationally: “… Real or perceived discrimination, political instability, poor economic conditions, unemployment, level of development.”…

Leftmedia Spin on the U.S. Intelligence Threat Assessment

by National Security Desk: President Donald Trump loves this country and strongly advocates and advances an “America First” foreign policy. Whether it’s withdrawing from the terrible nuclear deal with Iran or the hamstringing climate accord from Paris, he’s moved to undo the “America Last” agenda of his globalist predecessor. And the Leftmedia hates him for it.

So we’re treated to New York Times headlines such as, “On North Korea and Iran, Intelligence Chiefs Contradict Trump” that are meant to portray Trump as an uninformed rube blundering his way through foreign policy. The topic at hand is the annual Worldwide Threat Assessment prepared by the U.S. intelligence community. Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats, CIA Director Gina Haspel, and FBI Director Christopher Wray testified Tuesday before the Senate Intelligence Committee regarding the assessment.

The trio warned about threats from Russia and China, which the assessment says are “more aligned than at any point since the mid-1950s.” They also addressed North Korea, Iran, and ISIS. On each nation, Coats, Haspel, and Wray did indeed contradict some of Trump’s more brash assertions. For example, in announcing U.S. withdrawal from Syria, Trump declared, “We have won against ISIS; we’ve beaten them, and we’ve beaten them badly.” By contrast, Coats said the Islamic State will continue “to stoke violence” in Syria.

In our humble shop, however, we consider this to be another instance when Trump should be taken seriously but not literally. While Barack scumbag/liar-nObama effectively created ISIS, Trump has done a lot to beat it back. Unfortunately, by making hyperbolic, black-and-white declarations, he opens himself up to eye-rolling “fact checks” by the media and others. Trump has a maddening ability to be both wrong and right at the same time.

On North Korea, he did the same thing, saying after his summit with Kim Jong-un, “There is no longer a Nuclear Threat from North Korea.” Yes, there is, says the intelligence assessment. “We currently assess that North Korea will seek to retain its WMD capabilities and is unlikely to completely give up its nuclear weapons and production capabilities, because its leaders ultimately view nuclear weapons as critical to regime survival,” Coats said. “Our assessment is bolstered by our observations of some activity that is inconsistent with full denuclearization.”

Naturally, a good deal of time was spent on Russia’s election interference through Facebook. But Terence Jeffrey astutely argues what grassroots Americans are thinking: “The top national security issue facing the federal government today has nothing to do with deceptive political speech on social media. It has everything to do with our southern border.”

In the final analysis, the intelligence threat assessment is done in conjunction with the White House — these are executive agencies, after all — and the apparent disagreement arguably strengthens the American position in negotiations with our geopolitical foes. How? By keeping them off balance, on the ropes. Meanwhile, here at home, the Leftmedia is happy to keep churning anything that can be spun to make Trump look bad, reporting on complicated issues as checker games rather than chess matches.

Update: And of course Trump couldn’t resist punching back against the impression of him given over the last 24 hours:

“The Intelligence people seem to be extremely passive and naive when it comes to the dangers of Iran. They are wrong! When I became President Iran was making trouble all over the Middle East, and beyond. Since ending the terrible Iran Nuclear Deal, they are MUCH different, but a source of potential danger and conflict. They are testing Rockets (last week) and more, and are coming very close to the edge. There economy is now crashing, which is the only thing holding them back. Be careful of Iran. Perhaps Intelligence should go back to school!” ~The Patriot Post
