‘Confidential’ Kavanaugh emails posted by scumbag-Cory Booker were cleared, despite dramatic claim of defying rules

by Alex Pappas

{ } ~ In yet another bizarre turn of events at Brett Kavanaugh’s Supreme Court confirmation hearing… Republicans have revealed that documents dummycrats-Democratic Sen. scumbag-Cory Booker published Thursday morning in supposed defiance of Senate rules had already been cleared for release. “All of this drama this morning apparently was for nothing and it’s unfortunate,” Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, told reporters after a chaotic start to the third day of Kavanaugh’s hearing. Earlier Thursday, scumbag-Booker dramatically said he would “knowingly” violate Senate rules to release emails marked “committee confidential” that showed Kavanaugh discussing racial profiling as a White House lawyer in 2002. scumbag- Booker referred to his actions as an act of “civil disobedience” and said he was prepared to face punishment. “I am going to release the e-mail about racial profiling and I understand that the penalty comes with potential ousting from the Senate,” said scumbag-Booker, a possible 2020 dummycrats-Democratic candidate for president. At another point, scumbag-Booker said, “This is about the closest I’ll probably ever have in my life to an, ‘I am Spartacus’ moment.”…

Senate dummycrats-Dems’ Disingenuous Double Standard for Supremely Qualified Kavanaugh

by Sen. Thom Tillis

{ } ~ The Senate Judiciary Committee is holding hearings this week to review the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh, an eminently qualified jurist to serve on the Supreme Court… When Kavanaugh, a long-serving federal appeals court judge, was first nominated, Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, committed to every member that we would have the most open, fair, and transparent nomination process ever, a commitment that I believe he has kept. Under Grassley’s leadership, Kavanaugh’s nomination has resulted in the most extensive confirmation process for a Supreme Court nominee in history. The Judiciary Committee has received the most comprehensive set of documents ever provided by a nominee to the Supreme Court, receiving more executive branch documents than the past five Supreme Court nominees combined. These documents are in addition to the most relevant portion of Kavanaugh’s extensive record; namely, the 307 opinions he authored as a judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. That court is widely considered to be the second-most important court in the nation, behind only the Supreme Court itself. Despite a complete and comprehensive review of his record and his insight into the most substantive legal issues facing this country, Senate dummycrats-Democrats continue to create faux outrage over irrelevant documents instead of working with the chairman in good faith…

Kavanaugh protesters being paid to cause trouble

{ } ~ Probably it’s one of the stranger twists of the fundamental options of free enterprise… If you have the agenda of lashing out against and trying to destroy a qualified Supreme Court nominee because he’s conservative and nominated by President Trump, but don’t want to get involved personally, it’s easy – just hire someone to do it. So suggest multiple reports from those who have witnessed, amid the outlandish shrieking and screaming at the Senate hearing for nominee Brett Kavanaugh, payoffs. Officials at Liberty Counsel reported Wednesday that its officials are working with Faith & Action to bring daily Facebook Live updates on the hearings to the public. “Peggy Nienaber with Faith & Action has personally witnessed protesters getting paid $50 to disrupt the hearing. They also receive free breakfast, lunch and bail money. She has personally confirmed the reports of protesters getting paid to disrupt the hearing,” the organization said. The organization noted the “chaos, hecklers, and interruptions” in the Senate hearing. “Sen. Chuck Grassley could barely start the hearing by saying ‘Good Morning’ before dummycrats-Democratic senators started interrupting him. In the first 40 minutes, there were 44 total interruptions,” Liberty Counsel reported…

Grand Jury Hearing Witness Testimony Against Fired Asst. FBI Director Andrew McCabe

by sundance

{ } ~ There are some interesting overlays amid a Washington Post report just published which outlines that a Grand Jury is hearing witness testimony… in a criminal probe of former FBI Director Andrew McCabe. You might remember it was April 19th, 2018, when the initial criminal referral from the Office of Inspector General, Michael Horowitz, was first made public. The actual timing of the referral, to a “D.C. U.S.Attorney” took place some time prior to April 19th. The original IG referral to the D.C. U.S. Attorney’s Office was after the inspector general concluded McCabe had lied to investigators and possibly his own boss, then-FBI Director scumbag-James B. Comey, on four occasions, three of them under oath. The details were outlined in the first IG report into the conduct of Andrew McCabe. Within today’s Washington Post report they specify a grand jury has been hearing from witnesses surrounding that referral and potentially other matters, in an effort to “lock down” witness statements…

Liberals Deem Steve Bannon Too Dangerous to Interview

by Shawn

{ } ~ It appears that one of two things are true: Either liberals are so caught up in their own bubble that they’re unaware of the intense censorship concerns swirling in the conservative zeitgeist right now… or they are aware and simply don’t care. Seeing as how the de-platforming of Alex Jones, Ann Coulter, Ben Shapiro, Jordan Peterson, Charles Murray, Milo Yiannopoulos, and others has been extensively covered by mainstream liberal pundits and reporters, we can only conclude it’s the latter. The left is fully cognizant that a great many Americans are disturbed and distressed with this war on free speech, and they are absolutely fine with that. Even with a growing chorus of dissent from within the liberal sphere of influence – Sam Harris, Bill Maher, to name a couple – Resistance, Inc. has decided they’re going to keep pushing conservative views off the stage, off the air, and into the darkness. This, they’ve determined, is their best path to victory. No doubt, the New Yorker’s David Remnick is abreast of the situation, which makes it a little surprising that he would invite Steve Bannon to attend his New York festival in the first place. Remnick was surely watching when The Atlantic hired, and then quickly fired, Kevin D. Williamson after the online universe exploded in ghastly horror at the prospect of a pro-life writer joining such an esteemed, elite publication. He may have reasoned that his liberal readership would be mollified by the knowledge that he would in theory brutalize Bannon on stage with his morally superior, academically-grounded, stick-and-move strategy aided immensely by a live audience ready to cheer his every “gotcha”. But he miscalculated the extent to which a certain, terrifyingly large percentage of the left has internalized the belief that anyone with an (R) next to their name – much less someone who actually worked with President He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named – is a literal Nazi…

Time to End USPS Subsidies for Chinese Competition

by Louis DeBroux: The two major thrusts of Donald Trump’s presidential campaign were promises to clamp down on illegal immigration and to renegotiate trade deals in order to end the competitive disadvantages that American companies (and, therefore, American workers) often find themselves combatting in a global market.

On the trade front, President Trump has been busy indeed. Through a variety of negotiating tactics, including threats of retaliatory tariffs, Trump has brought America’s global trading partners back to the table and forced many to submit to fairer trade deals.

In June 2016, Barack scumbag/liar-nObama mocked Trump at a town hall forum for claiming he would create millions of jobs and bring manufacturing jobs back to the U.S. scumbag/liar-nObama smugly declared, “Some of those jobs of the past are just not gonna come back! When somebody says … that he’s going to bring all these jobs back, well, how exactly are you going to do that? What are you going to do? There’s no answer to it. … He just says, ‘I’m going to negotiate a better deal.’ Well, how? How exactly are you going to negotiate that? What magic wand do you have? And usually the answer is, he doesn’t have an answer.”

As it turns out, slashing taxes, eliminating regulations, and demanding fair trade results not only in millions of new jobs, but the most manufacturing jobs created in a quarter century. Additionally, Trump has renegotiated NAFTA with Mexico in order to help American companies compete on equal footing. Canada, Germany, and other nations are next on the list.

However, one area that has flown under the radar but should be acted on immediately is the abuse of a little-known United Nations agreement called the Universal Postal Union (UPU), which regulates how much countries can charge consumers for delivery mail originating in foreign countries. In essence, this agreement forces developed countries to subsidize the shipping costs of companies in developing nations.

The problem is that China, with the world’s second-largest economy, is included in that list of “transition” nations, and therefore the American taxpayer is subsidizing shipping costs for Chinese companies that are competing directly with American companies, including Chinese companies making counterfeit versions of American goods.

Of course, if the American consumer gets a defective Chinese product and wants to return, the consumer must pay the full cost of shipping the product back. With the return shipping cost often more than the costs of the actual goods, in practice, Chinese companies get away with selling defective products. The counterfeit-goods trade is a staggering $1.7 trillion dollars annually, larger than the illegal drug trade, so this is a huge and growing problem.

To put this in perspective, under the UPU, in many cases it costs American companies more to ship domestically than it costs Chinese companies like e-commerce behemoth Alibaba, which sells three times more than Amazon, to ship to the U.S. And since the U.S. Postal Service must ship Chinese goods at below cost, American taxpayers and consumers end up covering the losses.

As American small businessman Jayme Smaldone, owner of Mighty Mugs, explains, American consumers are increasingly expecting free shipping for online purchases. That forces his business to either absorb the cost of shipping or lose sales to Chinesecompanies that get free or deeply subsidized shipping costs due to the UPU. If he absorbs the shipping costs, then that means lower profits, which means layoffs of his employees, fewer jobs for truckers who transport his goods, an inability to invest in R&D or expanding manufacturing, etc.

China has an enormous economic advantage as it is, paying workers a fraction of the wages that American companies pay their workers, leading to significantly lower labor costs for Chinese companies. Additionally, China has virtually no regulations on its manufacturers, while American manufacturers must bear the costs associated with tens of thousands of pages of federal regulations, at a cost of roughly $2 trillion a year. Advantage: China.

President Trump has been working tirelessly to force an end to unfair and inequitable trade practices with America’s trading partners, including efforts to reduce or eliminate tariffs. Regarding the UPU, he has issued a memorandum to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin, and the DHS Secretary, Postmaster General, and Chairman of the Postal Regulatory Commission, calling on them to press for “a system of fair and nondiscriminatory rates for goods that promotes unrestricted and undistorted competition.” Unfair and discriminatory is an understatement for a policy that costs American taxpayers hundreds of millions of dollars each year.

President Trump is right to seek an end to this egregiously unfair trade practice that costs American consumers money and American workers their jobs. If necessary, he should withdraw from the agreement and have the USPS negotiate bilateral deals with the postal services of our trade partners.

Americans deserve better.
