The Obama regime has unveiled a plan for a “trusted identity” which would create a single secure password for all of your online accounts.

The Obama regime is behind this.  What could possibly go wrong?

The National Strategy for Trusted Identities in Cyberspace is going to start out as a voluntary system.  The problem, according to the government is that we have a whole bunch of passwords jotted down on post-it notes and we have memory questions such as mother’s maiden name or favorite pet.

Assuming this is a problem, why is it the government’s business to solve this problem?

The concept is to create a single software source that can be used to log on to any number of accounts you have, such as your bank, credit cards, and other transactions.  Let’s see, what could go wrong with this?

Let’s start with the basics.  It is a government program.  To err is human, but to really screw up, you need the government.  This program is at first a voluntary program, but who says this program will stay a voluntary program?  Remember, government bureaucrats are graded on how they can expand their departments, so how could this one be expanded?

We start with something voluntary.   Then states are offered the proverbial federal bribe with federal funds.  The Feds will offer money if states require the use of these secure ID’s.  If you want to do anything with your state or local government online, you will be required to get one of these ID’s.

Certain people say starting with sex offenders would be required to use one of these ID’s before they would be allowed online.  Then it would be expanded from there.  Before long, we would all be required to have these government ID’s to get online.   How long then before the government would have the power to revoke your permission to be online?

Given the Obama regime’s hatred towards those who disagree with them and their desire to control the media and dissenting opinions, that is not an unreasonable belief.

The road to hell is paved with good intentions.  Some of the intentions of the people behind this may be good.  But this is perhaps the classic case of if it isn’t broken, don’t fix it.

Perhaps the best statement here is that if this problem were really serious, the private sector would come up with a solution.  The private sector works wonders.  Look at all of the amazing products out there.  There are programs to lock your identity so that it cannot be stolen from you.   There are password programs.  There are back up programs and other types of programs that will do almost anything you want.

If this were a problem that needed a solution, free enterprise would come up with it.    Government has never made a country prosperous and has never solved a major problem.   As Ronald Reagan said, government is not the solution, it is the problem.  In this case, with the Obama regime, the last thing we need is them trying to solve this non-existent problem.

Hating people for not agreeing is not limited to Government. Lots of people and groups of people seemingly friendly are passionately prejudice, manic, BI polar control freaks who are incapable of grasping and developing a manner of living that requires rigorous honesty. Why do you think Obama hires people with that type of psychological motif as cazars for his agencies. Because there is no lack of them and we see them all the time. Leaders always get other people to gladly do their dirty work. Same thing with suicide bombers, these guys and gals are hand picked by cowardly leaders who would never dare blow themselves up. They round up all the sicko’s (who are easy to find). You could even advertise, “Sicko’s wanted no experience necessary”, and they all come runnin to apply for the job.

This password account issue is like anything else. Satan never sleeps. I think we got the EPA off our backs but these people never quit trying to undermine. They can NEVER be trusted, they can never be forgiven and according to Mark Levin they have to be defeated. Once they are defeated there are still millions of them out there but it doesn’t matter because they are usually pretty quiet because of their many fears. They are always fearful of things in their warped mind.

Hey two paragraphs, not bad. A lot better than a great big long 3 day novel to prove how smart I am and how great my journalism is.

Macho Man

True Grit and no half time, nobody else can handle the competition.

Just another socialist scheme as they all are. The purpose is to stick their nose into everything you do so they can CONTROL you and your LIFE.  Another way to steal your freedom. The horrible thing is that some people believe what socialists say. They believe that all the "offers" socialists make are for real. NOT!

Mr Obama is a socialist and one who will not win. The American people are onto his lies and his "change".He is and never has been qualified to be a president of anything. He is on  his way to be evicted from his pretence of an intelligent scholar to a name of "fraudulent imposter." His cover-up of his birth records and all the rest are clear. But we have found ways to find them anyway.

I, for one, will celebrate the day he is GONE.

Let me state it one more time: Obama sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Our loss of privacy is ongoing.  Soon your doctors notes will be available in DC. A sigle password is the key to reveal all your life.
obama and his people are always looking for ways to watch us. if you have one password everywhere you go then they now where you are on the internet at all times. in a way i think he likes unions so much is because if everyone is in a union he does not have to worry about all the individuals but just the union leaders. eveyrthing obama and his people are doing is to control the masses easier and the big one is disarm us. remember charleton heston saying they will have to pry it from my dead dying hands. thats how i feel too.obama to me is the most dangerous man of my lifetime. this is how i see it. now people know why he has so many czars to come up with these ideas and how to get around the constituion and congress and supreme court if they disagree with him. remember obama could not get away with any of this if it wasn't for the main stream media behind him. they are no longer real journalists but government run news like the soviet pravda.
...EVEN without knowing your password, they know everywhere you go on the internet...
true. im surprised i haven't been hit by a drone attack yet.

You will be, but it will be a different kind of drone than you imagine and it will come in a way you least

expect it. You should see how many innocent folks are mysteriously on the Watch List and No Fly List.

That's ok, I put myself on the no-fly list a long time ago when I saw one of the speed brake flaps go up during pre-flight on a 727, and there was an area under it that was patched with duct tape!
James, I couldn't agree more.  If we could target the media and George Soros I think that it would hurt the other side a lot.  Other then threaten their sponsors with a boycott I don't know what else we can do though.  Does anyone have any ideas?  They ignore us when we call or send email to complain.
Thanks Wes.  The video about "The Day the Dollar Died" is one scary video.

Wes, I did notice the date.

We don't have that much to invest but it sure would be nice to be able to keep what we have without the government taking it away from us.  I just never dreamed that the most free country in the world would turn to Communism (that's what it feels like to me).  In my opinion it's just because of all the people that think this country owes them a living.  I have tried so hard to make liberals see what is happening but all that happens is they say I am a wacko right winger and I have actually lost friends because I don't agree with Obama.  I just don't understand how people in this country can be so blind.
