It's hard for me to understand why so many powerful Conservatives continue to TRY to make their points by raising "negative" points. People cannot visualize a negative.
This observation comes from the best of the best coaches, shrinks, and trainers: Those who train Olympic athletes, astronauts, and other super performers. They put their phrases in POSITIVE terms, so the listener can understand and VISUALIZE what is SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN. For example, a football player sprinting 50 yards, looking over his shoulder, Jumping up and grabbing a football, coming down with his tippy toes in bounds, and getting slammed by a defensive player as he barely makes a touchdown.........barely by distance, timing, and rising his own pain.
Coaches did NOT say to that football player, "Don't let the other guy distract you."
Coaches did NOT say to that football player, "Don't let your feet go out of bounds......"
Coaches did NOT say to that football player, "Don't drop the ball."
What was surely said to that winning football player was:
"Focus on the ball and your own body and your own timing to GET that ball in your hands."
"Keep your feet in bounds, until you know for certain they've touched the ground with the ball in your hands and in your control."
"Pull the ball in and tuck it in; keep it in your possession no matter what happens, until you've stopped moving."
SO:
When Conservatives discuss the economy, the real point is NOT that Obama and the Democrats are DOING NOTHING ........... the real point is: Obama and the Democrats are SPENDING away our entire Future, as you can see by proof like this:
Just go to the bottom right hand corner and you'll see that we have (at least) 120 TRILLION dollars in UN funded promises....... that means, we / the U.S.A. have already written I.O.U.'s for over $120 TRILLION dollars. By the way a Trillion is a thousand BILLION dollars. OK, so its' over 120 THOUSAND BILLION dollars. The Democrats and Obama don't seem to think they have a credit card paid for by the American people that has been MAXED OUT yet. The Republicans want to tear that credit card UP.

She does not understand criminal mentality and is putty in their hands; she will commit a crime by nominating Obozo during the DNC Campaign as their Chair (A negative event).
You can visualize negatives.
Just look at the Liberals and the Democratic Party. And, ask yourself one question, "Has Obama done anything positive since 2008. A negative response looks like NO.
An analogy on how to visualize negatives.
A saddist and masochist were engaging in their normal behavior.
Masochist: Beat ME!
Saddist: Noooo!
Now can you visualize the negative.

If you tell a guy who just joined Alcoholics Anonymous, "all you need to do is STOP drinking Beer"....... he will not be able to imagine (visualize) himself "Stopping" but will routinely try to block out the image of himself "drinking beer" ....since he will have plenty of memory related to the visual memory of the bar, the beer, grabbing the beer, lifting the beer, putting the beer back onto the bar, etc. He will have NO memory of ever having "stopped drinking." Again, you cannot visualize the negative of something or in fact, of anything. Sure you can imagine something similar, and you can imagine bits of pieces of what someone MIGHT mean..........no problem. The point was, if you want to talk about a WINNING approach, it requires repetition and practice and therefore the ability to visualize the goal(s).
Just as Christie was pointing out earlier, all the comments and even factual observations about Obama don't really help people visualize our common goal: ELECT ROMNEY. Therefore, it's time somebody share this "secret about how the mind actually works" with the people in power in the GOP, in Conservative media, in the Romney campaign, etc.
For example, you might have seen Paul Ryan talking about "saving and PRESERVING Medicare." That's a start...... at least he isn't saying worthless things like, "We're not trying to end Medicare as we KNOW IT."
What would be better than saying things like "We trying to save and PRESERVE Medicare"........ might be something like, "LOOK: Our campaign is fare more interested in the Prosperity and Growth we're going to create starting this coming January. You can keep talking about the Myths from the Democratic party if you want, but Mitt Romney and I are moving ON and we're going to show America how to get back to work and create huge revenue and profits for small businesses and how to create jobs similar to the way Ronald Reagan did."
Or perhaps:
"What the Republican Party and groups like the Tea Party (and now it looks like the young people across this country) are starting to realize Nationwide is: Big Government does a lot of things, it spends a lot of money, it creates a lot of rules and red tape...... but it's PRIVATE INDUSTRY and the AMERICAN PEOPLE that create wealth and opportunity."
Or perhaps:
"People who want to see Mitt Romney's tax returns are really saying, PLEASE don't talk about the economy or why Obama has no excuse for his horrible record.......and so, we need to let those people just continue to wine and complain, since they're stuck on those diversion tactics. If you want to talk about how to create prosperity, then you need to ask the Romney / Ryan team HOW do you plan to create prosperity, because THEN we can have a legitimate and productive conversation!"
