Why didn’t this guy win?
Newt Gingrich is still out there, still working. Every time he comes up with a great idea, we should all be asking ourselves, “How the hell did we have a candidate this good and end up with someone like Romney as the nominee?”
Newt Gingrich went to the NRA and dropped a bomb.
He said that if he were President he would offer an amendment to the UN Charter that would make the right to keep and bear arms a universal human right.
Wow!
Gingrich points out that if that were in fact an enforceable right, there would be a lot fewer people killed by dictatorships, fewer women raped and fewer dictators surviving.
Mitt Romney went to the NRA and offered a generic offer of support for the Second Amendment. Of course, in years earlier Romney had supported the Assault Weapons ban and other gun control measures. But Captain Etch A Sketch is saying what ever he has to in order to get the nomination.
Newt Gingrich understands liberty, which is the most frustrating part about the traction his campaign has not gotten. Newt points out that our rights come from God, not from man. Ergo man is not allowed to take them.
Newt is a man for whom words like Freedom and Liberty are not simply talking points or the punch line for a speech.
As soon as the nomination is officially his, Romney will tack away from the right. He is not a conservative and he believes the people who tell him he must move to the middle.
We will watch with dismay as he does that and if he does get elected, we will watch in disappointment as the conservative ideals he claimed he championed during the primary season are forgotten.
And many of us will be asking why the GOP did not put Newt Gingrich in the White House.

It's due to the fact that Lefties vote in the Republican Primaries, tilting the party to the Left/Center, and then they vote for the Democrat in the General Election. This is why the Republican Primaries result in weak candidates like John McCain and Romney winning the nominations. Fake Republicans voting in our primaries has ruined the party. NO ONE should be allowed to run in the PRIMARIES unless they hold to ALL of the Republican party platform. This way the unidentified Democrat voters who tilt our primaries won't have Lefty Republican candidates that they can even vote for!

This is getting scary! RNC establishment strategy: Publish no poll numbers; spread the word that Romney is the nominee; have people vote based on blackout and misinformation expecting Romney to win big; then hit hard with Romney’s wins and Newt’s losses to bully Newt into dropping. (The news media are complying, including Fox News who are even slamming Newt for his rightful Secret Service protection expense) Please do yourself the honor of reviewing actual polls by doing a Google search for “2012 Republican presidential polls (name state)” and you will see why the RNC is using this tactic. Then spread the word!
Please join me and let’s stay with Newt all the way to Tampa! Let’s support him and thank him for his courage and willingness to sacrifice so much to stay in the race, so at that time he will still be in a viable position to offer true conservative and constitutional answers with bold ideas for a winning campaign platform, and will still be an alternative to the establishment coronated candidate. So again to all those who read, please join me in support of Newt so we may still have a chance to at least rebuild some of the America we love.

Romney can never do what must be done because he thinks he's smart enough to do it all by hiself so he would get all the acclaim. Newt doesn't think that way. He wants you to be just as much a part of rebuilding the America we love, as he is. That's why he always says, "together we can."

It’s getting more raucous by the hour! What a powerful contemptible ploy by the RNC! Taking advantage of Rick Santorum’s vulnerability following his Easter weekend emotional family ordeal and his dropping polls in Pennsylvania, they probably offered him a sweet deal of assuring him some cabinet position in a Romney administration if he would drop out of the race. To show respect for Rick, I’m sure they very carefully shrouded their offer with words of consideration and respect for his family needs and his courageous campaign strategy so he would feel that he wasn’t “selling out,” but the end result is, that’s what he did. As Rick said in one of the debates, “sometimes you just do one for the team.”
Their strategy is now in full swing! In the news media backroom power meetings they worked it all out! RNC representatives were probably there. With Rick out of the race and with mainstream news media compliance, they set in motion their planned tactic; Publish no poll numbers; spread the word that Romney is the nominee; have people vote based on blackout and misinformation expecting Romney to win big; then hit hard with Romney’s wins and Newt’s losses to bully Newt into dropping. I agree that it's all about Congressmen keeping Newt out, they are scared of him,he will stop the fraud and waste and lies! And he will not compromise when he knows he is right regardless of who or what a Congressmen wants as a pork add on! He will clean house! And they know it! They have done everything they could to indorse Romney, so they can manipulate him and of coarse keep all the big money deals going, because we know that Romney LOVE's MONEY! Especially at the expense of someone else's MONEY!
