Yesterday, Fox news broke a story that should have been all over the national news. Yet, other than on Fox, there is silence from the drive by media.
The story?
Over the last eight years, the Congressional Muslim Staff Association has brought in a number of speakers who are either terrorists or terrorist sympathizers.
These include:
Anwar Al-Awlaki. He was brought in to lead prayers shortly after 9/11. He had contact with a number of the 9/11 hijackers. He also had contact with Major Hassan Nadal, the Fort Hood shooter. He recruited the Underwear bomber, had contact with the Times Square bomber, and was involved in the recent attempts to bomb airliners with packages originating from Yemen.
Randall Royer. Formerly with the Council for American Islamic Relations. Now serving twenty years for terrorist activities.
Esam Omeish. A radical preacher who called for Muslims to follow “the jihad way.”
Tariq Ramadan, who was banned from the United States for six years because of his donations and connections to terrorist groups. Hillary Clinton lifted this ban this year.
This is not even the complete list. Those who are known to have come in, and the list is incomplete, have ties to radical Islamists and have repeatedly voiced support for terrorists.
If Al-Awlaki were the only radical speaker this group brought in, this would be a non-story. But speaker after speaker that came to this group was a radical. And this group invited each of these terrorists or terrorist sympathizers to Capitol Hill.
Where is the outrage?
Where are the lead stories on the drive by media?
Why aren’t Senators and Congressmen racing to the microphones to denounce this group and the terrorists they brought to Capitol Hill?
Why do these people still have jobs? Many staffers on Capitol Hill have access to sensitive or even classified information. When these people are associating with known terrorists or terrorist sympathizers, they should lose their jobs immediately.
Why are we paying these peoples’ salaries? Why are our tax dollars going to support those who support terror attacks on America?
Where is the outrage?
