A few weeks ago, the left wing media was gaga. After all the talk about rapes and other crimes by the members of the Occupy mob, a Tea Party leader had finally been busted for a major crime.
Oops.
Turns out Michael Kobulnicky, who was charged with kidnapping and rape and possibly facing a life sentence, did not do what he was accused of.

Prosecutors have dropped kidnapping and rape charges against a former San Diego Tea Party spokesman after the alleged victim recanted her story.
Michael Kobulnicky, 54, was arrested earlier this month and accused of sexually assaulting a 56-year-old woman he allegedly picked up in his car. According to San Diego Fox affiliate KSWB-TV, the alleged victim appeared at a bail hearing Monday and told the judge Kobulnicky was not the man who assaulted her. On Wednesday, she recanted her story to prosecutors and said she was never kidnapped or raped.
A judge dismissed four felony charges against Kobulnicky on Thursday. He had faced a possible life sentence if convicted.
“I didn’t commit any crimes,” Kobulnicky told KSWB after being released from jail. “It’s been hell. When people accuse you of terrible things and you know you didn’t do anything wrong.”
At the time, the media labeled him as a “Tea Party leader,” even though he had left the San Diego Tea Party to focus on personal matters, including an upcoming wedding.
While left wing media outlets like MSNBC were quick to report his arrest, most of the coverage of his exoneration has been only by local media.
Can we say double standards?
So here is a question for MSNBC and the other left wing media outlets. Where does Michael Kobulnicky go to get his reputation back now?

Permalink Reply by Juls on There's a mistake in this article. Seems the charges brought against this woman for making false allegations against Mr. Kobulnicky were inadvertently left out. Surely she was charged with something - right? At least an investigation has been launched? Possible charges pending?
Next thing I know you'll be telling me that female teachers can avoid incarceration for sexually violating their male students because they're too pretty to go to jail!
