The Tea Party movement began in 2009.  We fought hard in 2009 and 2010, but until the elections, it was hard to say we had won something.  We won something then and while this battle is not over, it looks like we have won again!

What have we won?

We are in the process of beating Obama on the debt ceiling and the budget battle.

When liberals are conceding defeat, you know things are good.  On MSNBC, Joe Scarborough said, “Obama caved.”  The Daily Beast’s Tina Brown said, “he will be going on the road for six months as a loser.”

Even Obamaton and chief unofficial propagandist Chris Matthews said Obama should not have gone on TV to deliver a political speech.   In other words, “Obama you really blew it badly.”

Even while threatening a veto of the Republican plan, Obama is quietly telling the leaders of banks the country will not default.  How will that happen?  The plan conceived of by Harry Reid is not going to pass the House.  John Boehner’s plan may not pass the House.   The only way to avoid default is to admit to something the Tea Party has been saying for a while.  There is enough money there to avoid default.  There may not be enough money there for all of the bills, but the country does not need to default.

The greatest part of what may become a huge Tea Party victory is that John Boehner, who wants to raise the debt ceiling by another $2.5 trillion, may not be able to get his plan through the House.  So many House Republicans are refusing to vote for this, Boehner may need Democrats.   Such a rebellion does not bode well for Boehner if he wants a second term as Speaker.

Eric Cantor has gotten into the fight telling Republicans to quit whining and vote.  Unfortunately for Boehner and Cantor, the Tea Party is there, reminding the freshmen how they got into office.  These Representatives are listening to the people at home and they know they people do not want a tax hike, a debt ceiling hike or anything else, other than cutting spending.

Considering, three years ago, the Tea Party movement did not exist, the results have been pretty good.   Three years ago, a lot of conservatives stayed home when the Presidential race was between RINO and liberal John McCain and far left wing extremist Barack Obama.

Then came the Tea Party and Middle America came back to the political fight.   And it has been a fight.  In two and a half years, we have become the most powerful political force in the nation.

We can take a moment to congratulate ourselves, but only a moment.  Boehner still wants to raise the debt ceiling by $2.5 trillion.  At least with his plan there are no new taxes, but that does not make it a great plan.   Just this afternoon, the Daily Caller reported that in the last few years, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) sent more than $90 million in tax dollars to China for health work in China!

That is something China should be spending money on, not America.

This is why we must cut, spending, cap it and balance our budget.

Obama may have caved.  Boehner has not.  We need John Boehner to break out that freshly laundered white flag of surrender again, but this time we need him surrendering to the Tea Party.  This time we need him cutting spending without raising taxes or the debt.

We may be winning but the war is not over.  Keep the pressure on.

Victory is in sight!

PTL!
I think we have made tremendous progress, but the Boehner Plan gets us nowhere!  Raising the debt by $1 trillion is not a victory! We need to urge the House to say no to the Boehner Plan and stick to their guns with Cut, Cap, and Balance!  They are voting tomorrow!  Please call your respective house members.
I just heard on B. Bair's show that the Boehner plan did not get the votes, so time to revise and go back and pressure them some more.

I've been emailing till my hands can't type any more this evening--earlier today--all the Congressional sites were down/error messages--this evening--they are back up so please consider getting back online and contacting any/all Reps/Senators and let them know how you feel!  Thanks and keep up the good work--together, we can and will make a difference--strength in numbers!

I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.

Amen!  At a time Grandma is being threatened with no checks, the Obama Administration still finds money to send off-shore.

We seniors have already endured cuts thanks to the Democratic Senate, and they're poised to not only cut more, but increase the tax on us, all they while claiming it's the Republicans who want to do that.  HELLO!  WAKE UP AMERICA!

Don't forget about the $2.6M of taxpayers' money spent to teach Chinese prostitutes how to drink responsibly in the job: http://dirtyspendingsecrets.com

And while we're discussing the NIH (another taxpayer funded organization), how about the $900,000 they recently spent to study the relationship between men's penis sizes and their sexual health among men who have sex with men (you can't make this stuff up, folks!). Google it if you have any doubt, but it's true.

Great article!
It is great to know that some of the Washington politicians listen to the people. We must remember we are not politicians our business is to deal with the policies that are destroying our country. We must win our country back by setting our goals and demanding from Washington to deliver or out they will go. Not compromising, we will not sell out.

Washington is talking about Deficit reduction.  Whatever the details, whatever the ultimate outcome this conversation would probably not be happening if not for the Tea Party.  The Main stream tried to tell us we didn't matter, we were irrelevant, we were astro-turf, we were told we were a racist movement motivated by hatred of the President's race (???).  Elected official called us names, still call us names, they mocked us and tried to trap us into doing something stupid while we were surrounded by hundreds of video cameras, they couldn't.

Without the Tea Party Obama would be raising taxes and increasing government cost, power, influence and economic fairness would be on everyone's lips.  Bravo Tea Party!

We made a difference, now we have to follow through and keep the pressure on.  Next year is going to be a nasty election cycle.  With no winning accomplishments Obama is going to have to run one attack add after another. With a record war chest and compliant media it's going to be a tough and nasty election cycle.

We need to get the conservative Herman Cain to run as an independent.  He will pull alot of the African American vote from the democrats as well as other dem's and liberals that have no clue.  The dems did that to us with Ross Perot.  It would be poetic justice.

The Debt Limit was only a diversion

There are two even more important victories to focus on and educate the voters on.

1. 2/3+ majority in the House and Senate in 2012.

2. GOODBYE OBAMA IN 2012.

...exactly!
