Could Van Jones be right about something? Van Jones, Obama’s ex-green jobs czar and leftist nut job was speaking at the far left radical Netroots Nation convention today.
While even a broken clock is right twice a day, Jones hit something that he should be right about.
What is it?
Today, he warned the far left wing radicals at Netroots Nation that the Tea Party would use its power to decimate the radical left next year.
While Jones is clearly paranoid, we conservatives should not only feed his paranoia but also make it real.
Jones said, “If the Tea Party is allowed to score a trifecta, their ideas already are corrupting the Supreme Court, you see that with Scalia’s antics, they already have half of the Congress. If they get the rest…and the White House…if the Tea Party governs America — if this time next year, you are living in a government run by the Tea Party — let me suggest to you that they might use power a little bit differently than we did. When they get power, they use it to decimate us…”
We need to decimate the far left.
This is not simply a matter of silencing a political opinion we disagree with. The far left hates America. They want to see America fail. Obama wants to see America fail. Since day one, Obama has worked hard to transform America from a Republic to a socialist state. He has worked overtime to destroy America’s economic base and make America no longer a superpower.
When the conservatives take over next year, we must do what Scott Walker and the Wisconsin Republicans did. We must totally defund the left. For the last several decades, the far left has done a masterful job of ingratiating itself into government. Just yesterday we found out that the supposedly defunct ACORN group is getting $445 million from the government.
What does ACORN do? Well, other than voter fraud, it is hard to say.
Why are they getting taxpayer dollars? Why does Planned Parenthood? They use their money to spend even more on campaign contributions to liberal politicians.
We must rip out the liberal tax dollar gravy train root and branch.
We must go after those who have committed crimes under the Obama Regime. That includes Eric Holder and everyone connected with Fast and Furious. We must downsize government and eliminate from government service those who want to grow government.
We must use the power of government to support those beliefs that have made America great. We must use government to support freedom, liberty and the free market. We must use the power of government to break the back of the America-hating far left.
This is our last chance.
If we do not totally defeat liberalism in the next four years we will pay the price. If Romney and the Republicans simply go with business as usual, four years from now, he will lose to Hillary Clinton.
Make no mistake about Hillary Clinton. She is as far to the left as Barack Obama, but unlike Barack Obama she is neither a narcissist nor is she an amateur.
If we do not totally defeat liberalism in the next four years, Hillary Clinton will become President and she will finish Barack Obama’s work.
Van Jones may be a little paranoid, but then again, we should give him cause to be paranoid.
Making Van Jones a little more crazy might be fun. Defeating liberalism in the next four years is not an option.

Not only do we have to defeat them, but we have to make sure our children and grandchildren know how close we came to almost losing America. We have to write the truth about Obama and right the wrongs he has done to this country. We have to white-wash his lies and make that kind of thinking do a 180d turn.

It IS good that we are accomplishing goals set, seeing that TRUE representation is sent to DC and that socialism is stamped from this nation. In the meantime, as we do this.....enjoy watching liberal goofs in unison spin like whirling dervishes, crashing into each other in confusion. They never get it and never will.

Good words. I take those words away from his context maybe, but I can't put it a better way. We wouldn't need to be in the Tea Party if we ourselves raise our children and not let the schools be our baby-sitters. Like the vampires they are, the liberals have infiltrated America's school system.
Another point DAIVD HENNING makes(again, see above) is that we must be vigilant. Once Obama is out and the radical, America hating liberals are out, we shouldn't need Tea Party but just a maintenance of personal vigilance. VOTE. That's all. We can relax and be the citizens we were born to be, but we must not become so apathetically satisfied as to not VOTE!
I joined Tea Party with the understanding that once the goofy liberal left was eliminated that Tea Party would dismantle as a political movement. The whole idea in my mind of what government is, is something that only exists so everyone's personal freedoms are protected and THAT'S IT. I do not wish to be associated with any movement that becomes a bourgeois control group for our government. I joined the Tea Party to rebel against socialist tyranny, if the Tea Party becomes a political entity to force it's will on others freedoms......I will rebel against it!

Our country's military has never stood down, at ease, taken their packs off. Always the sheep dog watching the flock. It was my trade for 20+ years and my decision alone to do so. Today I still have a want to go with them. My oath is in effect till death do us part. I do not stand alone. So many more of my kind are members of the biggest armed force in the world-The United States citizens and their privately owned weapons. The enemy is all the same be they foreign or domestic. I feel it is ALL Americans duty and birth-right to be vocal and stand for liberty and freedom. It is our duty as American parents to make our children understand WHY we love the Constitution and WHY we live under the rule of law and NOT the rule of the elite few. In my opinion, every American has an obligation to do as we on this site are doing, not let a bunch of political crocodiles in one city decide what is best for us and our own. I speak for myself alone, not to force my will on others but to hope they will stand up for themselves as we have done here. I've said before, men like Jefferson and Jackson, who basically wrote policy for democrats before the advent of socialism, would more than likely join or even start a movement like the Tea Party today! My suggestion is not to rid us of Obama then settle into a quiet apathy, no. My suggestion is that the government be set along a road, allowing it to function as per the Constitution, maintain it, and live a free life as citizens of America. Yes, we must remain vigilant and be ready to stifle socialism where ever it manifests itself in our land; Hopefully in a local sense before it becomes entrenched in Washington DC as it is. This would be our civic duty to our neighbors first, then to the state, then hopefully not having to remove the communist stain from the federal level. We're all in this together Sarge.......it's just to bad so many (life-long democrats and apathetic conservatives) allow people like Obama walk all over them, ya know?
I will state it again. If the Tea Party was to become the minority that controlled DC and decided ourselves what was right and wrong for the masses without due process, it would be no better than those we are trying to remove now and I would have no part of it.

It is, and always has been, dedicated to the set of ideals laid forth by the founders in the founding documents, and the keystone has always been individual freedom instead of government control. The "if" statement you make is an oxymoron, as would any set of opposites: "if good decided to become evil."

Okay, I'm giving you a hard time just for fun - you have plenty of conservative/tea party history to reassure us.
It just struck me as odd timing to make such a statement. I mean, at present we're in a battle just to survive this commie/socialist nightmare, so why talk about the appropriate time to consider disbanding? Imagine two armies engaged in trench warfare, dodging shells, soldiers getting stuck on razor-wire, others blown to bits, and then some soldier stops fighting and says that if his side wins, he'll put down his gun and preach the Bible for the rest of his life. Not a bad idea, just bad timing.
At any rate, I don't think the leftists are ever going to give up, and I don't think our government is going to return to some small, moral entity any time soon, so I guess we'll all be fighting together for quite awhile. But I still feel that one millisecond after we disband, the leftist scum zombies will rise from the dead again.
