US Secretary of Defense DENIES explicit Congressional authority to declare war under the Constitution

US Secretary of Defense, Leon Penetta denys Article 1, Section 8, c...

Mark this date.  It is one that should be written into the history books.  It is the date which exposed the terrifying knowledge that US Military is no longer controlled by duly elected representatives of Congress …rather it is now a military that is under the direct control of the President (as command-in-chief), AND foreign nations, NATO and the UN…but most certainly not by the Congress of our nation’s elected representatives as is required by our nation’s highest law, the Constitution!!!!!!!!

http://www.wnd.com/2012/03/obama-impeachment-bill-now-in-congress/

There is as of this date a presidential bill of impeachment in congress waiting to be approved…

IF YOU ARE AN AMERICAN AND YOU LOVE OUR NATION…YOU NEED TO WATCH THIS VIDEO.
After Senator Sessions asked a question to General Dempsey about what legal authority is required to commit US troops and offensive weapons, Dempsey says that they only need to get permission from NATO, the UN or any foreign nation…Saying NOTHING about the requirement that Congress is the only government branch that may declare war under Article 1, Section 8, clause 11 of the United States Constitution.   Then Session asks the question to Secretary of Defense Penetta…You must hear this dialog!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5zNwOeyuG84&feature=player_embedded

Listen to the words of the Secretary of Defense (Leon Penetta) as he intentionally, and repeated denies and ignores authority of the Congress under the Constitution of the United States to declare wars and commit our troops to war.  Senator Sessions tries several times to allow him to correct his statements when Penetta says that the US Military and the President need do nothing more than get approval of the UN or NATO before engaging in war against other sovereign nations…repeatedly he ignores the constitution, the highest laws of the land.

If you have ever served our nation in the armed forces you know that it is our sworn oath to protect and defend the people, nation, and constitution of the united states from all enemies, both foreign and domestic.  And this is the Secretary of Defense of the United States of America.

If this does not put the fear of tyranny and despotism into your hearts…WHAT WILL?

When treason springs from the well, it shall flow like a river until it is damned up!  If we do not regain control of our nation, of our federal government…we shall see the last days of the United States of America before our very eyes…in our own lifetimes.

“When injustice becomes law, resistance becomes duty.”

and in a letter to Samuel Kercheval, written in the early 19th Century:

“To preserve [the] independence [of the people,] we must not let our rulers load us with perpetual debt.
We must make our election between economy and liberty, or profusion and servitude.

If we run into such debts as that we must be taxed in our meat and in our drink, in our necessaries and our comforts, in our labors and our amusements, for our callings and our creeds, as the people of England are, our people, like them, must come to labor sixteen hours in the twenty-four, give the earnings of fifteen of these to the government for their debts and daily expenses, and the sixteenth being insufficient to afford us bread, we must live, as they now do,on oatmeal and potatoes, have no time to think, no means of calling the mismanagers to account, but be glad to obtain subsistence by hiring ourselves to rivet their chains on the necks of our fellow-sufferers.”

Gentlemen may cry, Peace, Peace --

Our brethren are already in the field!

Why stand we here idle?

What is it that gentlemen wish?

What would they have?

Is life so dear, or peace so sweet,

Patrick Henry

“If you love wealth more than liberty,

2 Chronicles 7:14
IF My people, who are called by My name,

and will heal their land.

2 Timothy 3:1- 9
 But understand this,
that is the last days there will come times of difficulty.

For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud,

arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful,

unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control,

brutal, not loving god, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit,

lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,

having the appearance of godliness but denying its power.

Avoid such people. For among them are those who

creep into households and capture weak women,

burdened with sins and led astray by various passions,

always learning and never able to arrive at a

knowledge of the truth.

Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses,

so these men also oppose the truth, men corrupted

in mind and disqualified regarding the faith.

But they will not get very far,

for their folly with be plain to all,

as was that of those two men.

Matt. 25:30
And throw that worthless servant outside, into the

Proverbs 22:6 KJV
Train up a child in the way he should go:
and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

Deuteronomy 16:19
You shall not pervert justice.
You shall not show partiality,
and you shall not accept a bribe,
for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise
and subverts the cause of the righteous.

Deuteronomy 4:5-9 –
See, I have taught you statutes and rules,

as the Lord my God commanded me,

that you should do them in the land that you are entering

to take possession of it.

Keep them and do them,

for that will be your wisdom and your understanding

in the sight  of the peoples,

who, when they hear all these statutes will say,

‘Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people’

For what great nation is there that has

a god so near to it as the Lord our God is to us,

whenever we call upon him?

And what great nation is there, that has statutes and rules

so righteous as all this law that I set before you today?

Only take care, and keep your soul diligently,

lest you forget the things that your eyes have seen,

and lest they depart from your heart all the days of your life.

Make them known to your children and your children’s  children.

God forbid we should ever be twenty years without such a rebellion.
The people cannot be all, and always, well informed. The part which is
wrong will be discontented, in proportion to the importance of the facts
they misconceive.

If they remain quiet under such misconceptions,
it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty. …
And what country can preserve its liberties, if its rulers are not
warned from time to time, that this people preserve the spirit of
resistance? Let them take arms.

The remedy is to set them right as
to the facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost
in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from
time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure.”
Thomas Jefferson

It is abundantly clear that many of our high ranking elected and appointed officials feel no need to obey our Constitution.  They will continue shredding our Constitution and our rights as citizens as long  as the American people allow them to do so.  Although our military is currently volunteer I strongly suspect that if the rank and file woke up to the fact that their service was more for the New World Order than for defending our country and stopped volunteering, we'd soon see a draft.  The idea of using a draft to support the NWO is no different than conscripts of old being used by kings and emperors to advance their personal holdings at the expense of the lives of others.  Either our nation will move forward with the vision of our founders for a free and self-governing people or we will fall back into the dark ages where the masses lived under deprived conditions only to please an elitist few.  America really is at a crossroads necessitating either the recall and/or impeachment of rogue representatives and putting true Americans in their place or accepting a lowly ignoble station as peasant servants living only to please an arrogant and indifferent elite.

Germany was one of the best educated nations in the world prior to WWII.  Their people enjoyed a democracy as well.  But as Hitler and Socialism took over, everything changed for the people of Germany...Such is was, and such it is for any country that is taken over by the socialistic ideology, and then allows fascism to come to power.
