It is possible that American troops could be put on trial for burning the Koran in Afghanistan? The whole notion simply boggles the mind. Let’s not even get into any issues of Islam and terrorism for a moment.
What we know of the case is that the soldiers who burned the Korans and other Muslim religious materials did not know what they were burning because the matierals were written in languages they did not speak.
This was not a deliberate act so you would think the matter would be quickly closed. Not so.

The U.S. ambassador to Afghanistan has not ruled out military proceedings against U.S. troops involved in the disposal of Qurans by burning them.
"If there are to be proceedings, they are going to be U.S. proceedings under the UCMJ (Uniform Code of Military Justice) -- and I don't think there is any question or doubt on the part of the Afghan government that that is exactly how it's going to go," Ryan Crocker told Fox News Wednesday night.
Fox anchor Bret Baier had asked Crocker if Afghan President Hamid Karzai's call for a public trial had raised some eyebrows at the U.S. Embassy.
It may not have raised eyebrows at the Embassy but every American soldier in Afghanistan and in other places is thinking about it.
This is such a monumental breach of faith with the members of the American military, it simply staggers the mind.
Six American service members have now been killed since this wave of violence began. Afghanistan is not worth it.
The only purpose our troops serve in Afghanistan is to protect America from terrorist attacks. Their job is not to build a nation or as Obama seems to think, be a target for the terrorists.
We have a problem with liberals control American policy. We lose wars and Americans die needlessly. In the case of Afghanistan, Obama will not let our troops win. He cannot figure out how to lose without getting blamed so Americans continue to die in that worthless hellhole for no good reason.
This will come as a shock to the Party of Treason, but the purpose of our military is to go in harm’s way and come back victorious.
The deaths of American soldiers are on Obama’s head. It is his fault.
The lesson from Afghanistan should be that we never ever have an un-American liberal as commander in chief again.

They attend those schools - madrazzas - where all they do is memorize the Koran and are taught that Israelis are pigs and the US is the Great Satan. Ask them to add two numbers and they can't do it. That is why they are so backward. They yearn to be able to become a suicide bomber and die by exploding themselves to pieces so they can go to heaven where their 72 virgins are waiting.
As I have said before, pick up the pieces of the bomber, did a hole and put the pieces in the hole, kill a pig and pour its blood all over the pieces, and cover it up. According to their teachings, by being exposed to pig's blood, that makes them unclean and unworthy of going to heaven. Do this also to every Taliban KIA and see how long they would want to continue fighting.
Come to think of it, remember the movie "The Godfather?" when they put a horses head in the bed? They should do the same thing to Obama with a pig so he will lose all hope of getting his 72 virgins when he destroys the United States...the Great Satan.

Obama has committed high treason and has given comfort to the enemy - he is quilty and responsible for the deaths of our soldiers and should be tried and punished accordingly. And I don't want to hear any excuses (lies) that he's incompetent - he knows what he's doing just like Holder (and Obama) knew exactly what they were doing when they ran the Fast and Furious operation. Politically correct or not, these two men deserve life imprisonment at hard labor, at the least. If they try to push this issue, there better be a unified outcry from us all that will burn up the phone lines in Congress.

For all you sensitive people out there who will be offended, get over it. I'm much more concerned about our military personal and bringing them home safely, than your sensabilities.
