Esquire magazine announced its annual sexist woman issue and told us Mila Kunis is the winner of this year’s title.
There is a woman who merits the title of this year’s ugliest woman.
Who is she?
It is, Mila Kunis.
Upon being named Esquire Magazine’s sexiest woman, Kunis was interviewed by the magazine. Her comments were pretty ugly.
From Breitbart.com:
Kunis, who rose to fame on "That '70s Show" and transitioned to feature films like "Black Swan" and "Forgetting Sarah Marshall," granted the magazine an interview to accept the honor.
The issue doesn't hit newsstands until Oct. 16, but a sneak peek at the Q&A finds Kunis slamming a good portion of her movie-going audience.
"The way that Republicans attack women is so offensive to me," Kunis exclaims. "And the way they talk about religion is offensive. I may not be a practicing Jew, but why we gotta talk about Jesus all the time? And it's baffling to me how a poor person in Georgia can say, 'I'm a Republican.' Why?"
Kunis is clearly not the sharpest knife in the drawer but her comments were dumb, even by Hollywood standards.
If you are going to play politics in Hollywood, you probably should go Democrat. Unfortunately for her, she does not seem to understand the concept of offending her audience.
Hollywood’s numbers are down. People are not going to go see movies like they used. Many in Hollywood explain it as a change due to technology as more people have HD flat-screen TVs and they just find it more enjoyable to watch a movie at home.
Some of that is certainly true.
But there are a lot of people who are like me.
I don’t go see movies any more. That’s not totally true. I’m going next week to see Atlas Shrugged 2. But that is about it. I cannot tell you the last time I watched a movie in a theater.
Why?
While there are some conservatives in Hollywood and the movie industry, they are a rarity. I do not want to go and spend my money supporting people who insult me. I do not want to go and spend my money to support people who dispise me.
There are some liberals in Hollywood who are simply liberals and disagree with conservatives. Then you have the moon bats. There is a whole range of people from Cher, to Ellen Barkin to Barbara Streisand to Jason Biggs. These people are rude, crude and obnoxious.
I am their consumer and I refuse to consume their product any more. I refuse to spend another dime on them.
I’m not calling for a boycott of Hollywood. Boycotts rarely work. But I have hit the stage where I am no longer willing to fork over my hard earned dollars to those who have nothing but contempt for people like me.
Perhaps one day Hollywood will learn. The customer is always right.

I wish celebrities & singers would just keep their mouths shut!

Awww, Thomas! Now my boyfriend wants to know if anybody in your building is accepting applications! Be careful what you say on here, okay? LOL

Permalink Reply by Jo DeFranco on October 9, 2012 at 5:59pm The last movie I went to was 2016. Other than that I can't remember when I was at a theater. I too refuse to feed the beast that wants to devoure us. I refuse to make them richer on our pain and destruction of our country. Most of my friends do not understand and refuse to discuss any of this ("I hate politics" they say). So at this point 3yrs later - what's the point of continueing to hit my head against a wall? I leave it with let's hope I am wrong and that in a few months all of you are not like dear staring at headlights because I may not be able to help you then.

I too will not waste one single dime of my money on anything they appear in or is produced by one of the Liberal know it alls in Hollywood. They are rude, crude and don't deserve our respect. They are parasites feeding off of ignorant people.
