Sometimes an idea comes along and as soon as you hear it you go, why didn’t I think of that? Then you want to know, can I get involved in that?
One of those ideas has come along.
As most people know, the good folks in Arizona are tired of illegal immigration. After all, they are the one’s who are paying the price for it. Sometimes with their lives.
Obama, ever disloyal to America, has sued Arizona to block enforcement of SB 1070, a bill the Arizona legislature passed to help save Arizona from illegal immigration. Now, Governor Jan Brewer and the people of Arizona are striking back.
Arizona is going to sue Obama and his regime for not enforcing border security. This is a long overdue idea.
The Obama regime has long held border security hostage to amnesty, stating he will not enforce border security until he gets amnesty. If history is any guide, it won’t be enforced after amnesty either. To be fair, Bush was worthless on border security too.
But Arizona is taking matters into its own hands.
A spokesman for the regime described the lawsuit in a term usually reserved for Obama. “Meritless.” The state of Arizona says in its lawsuit that the Federal Government is relying on the preemption doctrine in the Constitution, saying states lack the authority to enforce immigration, yet the Federal Government turns around and refuses to enforce immigration laws.
This is a lawsuit I would love to get involved in. This is a lawsuit I would love to see every conservative in America join in as a plaintiff. Illegal immigration costs us all. From higher taxes to in some cases, loss of life.
There is something else we should consider doing. Most states now have their legislatures back in session. In each legislature, we should ask a friendly legislator to make it a crime in that state to be present in that state, while someone is in the country illegally. Make it a crime that carries a year in jail and a sentence that cannot be suspended. In other words, if you are convicted of that offense, you have to do the jail time. You cannot get probation.
While liberals will scream about this, it will have an effect. As soon as the illegal communities get the word the state is passing that bill, they will decamp and head to another state. Pretty soon, they will start running out of states and go home.
Hopefully, by the time they start heading home, we will have a real American in the White House, who will enforce border security and protect Americans.
Meanwhile, I am looking for lawyers who are willing to help Americans sue the Obama regime to enforce border security.

Permalink Reply by Christie on February 11, 2011 at 1:31pm On a related note: A talk show host in SD is in the process of setting up a hotline for anyone to give info on MS13 gang members and drug cartel thugs. This is good, but what we need is a secure border.
As for the matter at hand, I like the idea of everyone joining in on a lawsuit. Here in S. Cal, (aside from 'Lost Angels' or SMELL-A), we have had it with the illegal population sucking up our tax dollars and jobs so that there is no future for our children, and their children...
My Rep would be open to the idea of incarceration for a year, but again, the problem is that California, as a whole, is to the left of New York State. We could gain some in-roads in San Diego County, but the sanctuary city policy is entrenched even in San Diego and the City Council members are all lefties, with only a few exceptions. Another problem with incarceration is that the jails are already full here...We could ask Sherriff Joe to instruct the border sheriffs how to set up 'tent cities' as he has done in Maricopa Co., Arizona.
I agree with Judson and am very frustrated with the southern invasion. The talk show host I mentioned, (Rick Roberts, 760KFMB.com) has been so frustrated for so long that he is finally considering running for public office because he can't stand not being able to DO anything about this long-standing problem that the Feds are unwilling to do anything about--to the point of suing Arizona over a law the Feds are supposed to enforce!
That's another thing we all should consider: getting involved with local politics at least by being active, informed and vocal.
They, (the 'gov't') wants to create the North American Union through increments and a porous border. No wonder they haven't given up Amnesty. As you all may know by now, Chuckie Schumer and Lyndsey Grahamnesty have joined forces to force it through. With RINOs like LG, who needs the Demo Party?
Ralph has a good point too, but there has to be a way that we can get the upper hand. Money isn't everything and unions and their loyal members are still a minority, aren't they? Yes, the Minute Men were shut down, but we have to infiltrate the system and change it from within, as they have done.
In any case, I will be on the look-out for lawyers who would join the cause. Thanks for the great ideas.
While I too would like to see our federal government enforce boarder securty and round up all illegal aliens for deportation, but I can't help but thinking of a Wizard of OZ scene. "Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain".
Immigration, unemployment, international affairs, global warming etc. etc. etc. are all conveniently used to distract you from the single most important issue which lies at the root of all the other issues.
That issue is the federal government owns you and your childern. It has access to every cent you have.
This is the issue to which we should be focused. Until we control the federal government's addition to OUR MONEY all other issues are moot. It's like giving your kids an allowance. If you give them $20 a week there is only so much they can do. Howvever, if you give them acess to your credit cards "the sky is the limit" and they can do whatever they want when they want and so it is with the federal government.
Money is power and the government has it all. Without access to all our money there would not be a Dept. of Education, no Commerce Dept. of Energy, no 30 Czars, no EPA, no IRS (as we now know it), no intrusive bureaucracies creating more and more regulations. The federal government would be forced to concentrate all their resources only on it's constitutional responsiblities. Defense of our country, immigration control, coining money, promotion of enterprise (not hindering enterprise as in mortatoriums on oil drilling or coal mining, or timber cutting or various foods, or light bulbs etc etc.. Repael the 16th amendment, excise tax authority and the 17th amendment.
