What is the best thing that could happen this year?  There are some really good things that could happen to us individually but what is the one thing that could really help this nation?

No, winning the lottery is not on that list.

What is the best thing that could happen to this nation?

It is the year of the Tea Party Senators.

We have a great chance to elect a Tea party Senate this year and that class of freshman Tea Party Senators could have a huge impact on the direction of this nation.  We already have three of the Tea Party Senators who have moved passed the primary and are going to the general election.  They are Richard Mourdock in Indiana, Josh Mandel in Ohio and Deb Fischer in Nebraska.

Next Tuesday, Ted Cruz in Texas takes on the Establishment in a crucial race.  He is facing David Dewhurst who is the Lt. Governor that was described by one newspaper as “weird, spooky and rich.”

Ted Cruz’s website is here.  Contact them today and ask what you can do to help as his primary is next Tuesday.

The next two races that come after that involve two great candidates who really do need help.  Jamie Radtke is the first Tea Party activist who has come out of this movement to run for office.  She is running in Virginia for the United States Senate against former Senator George Allen.  In Maine, Scott D’amboise is running for the GOP Senate nomination.  He has a huge fight because he must fight the Republican establishment in Maine, which has had a slobbering love affair with RINOs Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins.

Both of these races have been flying under the radar for a lot of people.  These are both races we need to get above the radar and we need to let people know about them.  Both Jamie Radtke and Scott D’amboise need support as they now move into the home stretch of their races.

Jamie’s website is here.   Scott’s website is here.

The other big race looming on the horizon is Dan Liljenquist’s race in Utah.  Sarah Palin just endorsed his opponent Orrin Hatch.   Many of us in the conservative movement are very disappointed by this endorsement.  Hatch, who was Ted Kennedy’s best friend in the Senate, is one of those Republicans who loved to reach across the aisle but never managed to help get Democrats on board to support Republican plans.   His support of the SCHIP (children’s insurance big government boondoggle) was bad enough.  His buddy Ted Kennedy got him on that.  But then to claim has he did that he had no idea the program would expand to the money wasting program it has become is simply ludicrous.

Dan’s website is here.

Please take a moment and share this blog post with your friends.

It is very easy to share blogs that get you outraged and I love writing those barn burning, get you out of your seat screaming pieces.  They are a lot of fun.

However, this is more important that just raising hell.  We all love to get outraged but simply being outraged does not change anything.   We have a great opportunity this year if we put Tea Party conservatives in the Senate and put more Tea Party conservatives in the House.

This is our year.  This is the year of the Tea Party Senate.

But it is our year, only if we act to make it so.

Carlo...Of all the candidates running against "Spend it now" the only one with name recognition is going to be Pete Hoekstra. Which is a mistake as he voted for cash for clunkers, TARP, GM bailout, and many other raise the debt pieces. Peter Konetchy is the most constitutionally conservative of the bunch, but running on a shoestring. Gary Glenn is a pompous man who is full of himself. He was involved in writing a piece of legislation on bullying that gives us a new set of victims and involves the gov't even further into our lives. Scott Boman hasn't a snowballs chance. Pete Hoekstra also promised he would only serve 2 terms, which promise he broke. The only possibilities IMHO are Hoekstra, Konetchy, or Glenn. Konetchy would be ideal, but I don't  see it happening.

That's my take on our elections coming up in August.

Yeah, I really don't understand why Sarah Palin would endorse Hatch. Just goes to show that even usually solid conservatives can have "blind spots."

Folks,

Democrats are defending at least 23 senate seats. We The People NEED to replace every last one of those with a conservative alternative.

I hope work has been done to "Primary" all of them along with as many RINO's as possible.

Alan West as the next Speaker of the House and Jim DeMint as the next Majority Leader of the Senate sure would help.

WOW...Alan West the Speaker? I hadn't thought of that,,what a difference that would make. I have long thought Mitch would do better staying home.

The best thing that could happen for every red blooded American is if a critical mass of our population, 5 - 10%, realized that "budget cuts" are a bad Saturday Night Live JOKE and that the only way to restore our States and individual Rights, our Freedom and the prosperity of the average common workingman / family is for this critical mass to become Constitutionally enlightened and do our DUTY to compel all three branches of our Government servants to obey the "Supreme Laws of The Land" that We The People ordained and established ON THEM, to secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity.

When WE stop thinking and pushing for the bad JOKE of "Budget Cuts" and start compelling Government obedience to the eighteen only enumerated powers and spending We The People granted them for the privilege to serve us in this VERY LIMITED capacity then not only will our unalienable Rights be restored, but also our economy, using REAL Article I Section 10 money, not imaginary utterly unsustainable money printed and digitized out of thin air, will be restored and so the average common workingman / family will be very wealthy as we were during the 1890s when there was no income taxes and the U.S. Government largely obeyed our Laws.  To see how rich the average common workingman / family was during the 1890s, when there wasn't any income taxes and our government obeyed the law see: http://youtu.be/iYZM58dulPE

We The People will be free when we get the moxie and the fortitude to prosecute, to the fullest extent of Constitutional Law, any and all still living legislator who usurped and/or authorized spending money on ANYTHING that isn't listed/enumerated under Article I Section 8, pursuant to the 9th and 10th Amendments.

It should be obvious, and soon painfully obvious, that any legislator that usurped powers, size, scope and/or spending beyond the eighteen things we granted them, is an enemy to The Constitution and so We The People.

Budget Cuts have many beneficial results:

1. They reduce spending.

2. They can be used to starve bad programs to death.

3. They can be a measurement tool, to separate the good from the bad Congress(wo)men.

Why are you against Budget Cuts?

If I'm reading him correctly, he's not actually against budget cuts. What he wants is big government cuts. In other words, if the federal government was limited to the duties spelled out by the Founders, budget cuts would be unnecessary.

by the way, if you need a little cheer this morning, there are several races within my state of Tennessee for our General Assembly where Democrats are not even running! The Democrat party is falling apart in this state, the Republicans swept in 2010 and are still gaining strength. So don't forget your local/state elections, we get a lot done in our States, too!

We could have massive Rallies in Support of Constitutional Law and compel our servants to obey the enumerated powers and money clauses of The Constitution. If enough people would be at these massive peaceful rallies, our servants would have no choice but to start dissolving all the size, powers, scope and spending that exceed Article I Section 8, pursuant to the 9th and 10th Amendments.

If freedom and prosperity is ever to be restored, this is the only way to do it now. Elections are not effective anymore because of all of the usurpations that we allowed through the decades since the 1913 Trifecta of Tyranny (ratifications of the NON-ratified 16th and 17th Amendments by disingenuous tally by the despicable Secretary of State Philander Knox under the tutelage of Socialist-in-Chief Woodrow Wilson, and the contemptuous Federal Reserve Act of 1913)

Additionally most all elections are an electronically pre-hacked rigged hoax: http://youtu.be/OynCgwmD-HM

Joseph:

I doubt that Sarah is becoming a "Corporate Woman". She is too independent for the Republican "Old Guard".

I believe that Orrin Hatch is close to Romney and there may be some connection to "things that are going on down the line".

Sarah is a real pro on the handling of Oil Companies and dealing with allot of the energy issues and the next administration may use her for those things.

Ron

P.S. I love Sarah Palin because of her "Spirit and Patriotism" and I believe that she would never do anything (Purposely) to hurt our country.

Well said Ron.

No way....she's too independent...but I bet she's tired, with that little sweet boy.

He probably stays up late...like a lot of kiddos with ds do.
