Liberals tend to think of the Constitution as just some old document that should be ignored early and often.  It is at best an inconvenience and occasionally something they can use against real Americans.

One Senator in particular is ignoring the Constitution.  His actions fly in the face of the mandates of the Constitution and he makes a farce of it by his actions.

Who is the liberal and what is he doing?

It is liberal Republican Richard Lugar of Indiana.   He is the unconstitutional Senator.

Why is he the Unconstitutional Senator?

Lugar was a resident of Indiana in 1976 when he was first elected to the Senate.  He left for Washington in 1977 and now lives in Washington.  His address in Indiana is a hotel.  He does have partial ownership of a farm but the farm has no residence on it.  According to published sources, he stays either in hotels or with friends when he comes back to Indiana.

Article One, Section Three, Clause three of the Constitution states:

No Person shall be a Senator who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty Years, and been nine Years a Citizen of the United States, and who shall not, when elected, be an Inhabitant of that State for which he shall be chosen.

There is no argument that in 1977, Richard Lugar was an inhabitant of Indiana.  Now he is not.  Lugar has not owned a home in Indiana since 1977.  Lugar has no physical residence in Indiana.  He still lists the home he sold in 1977 as his voting residence.

Lugar’s conduct is so outrageous that Tea Party members in Indiana have filed complaints alleging that Lugar is engaging in voter fraud when he returns to Indiana to vote.

Lugar has tried to analogize his tenure in Washington to military service.  A member of the military gets to claim their last state of residence for all purposes until they leave military service.

For a liberal Republican to compare his self-enrichment at the taxpayers’ expense to those who wear the uniform of America’s armed services is to put it mildly, extremely offensive.

The Indiana Senate primary is May 8th.  This primary will be the one of the first tests of the Tea Party this year.  Various Tea Party groups have endorsed Richard Mourdock, Lugar’s opponent in the primary.

If we can defeat liberal Richard Lugar, we can send a message.  Much as 2010 became the year of the Tea Party election, we the Tea Party can get 2012 off to a strong start by defeating Lugar.

Here is what you need to do.

Please forward a copy of this blog to everyone in your Tea Party group.  If you wish to repost it on a website or reprint it in a Tea Party newsletter, permission is granted.

Ask your local Tea Party group to get together and have a money bomb for Richard Mourdock.    Even if it is not a great deal of money, remember this.  Richard Lugar is the crown prince of the RINOs.  There are many in the Washington establishment who want to see him reelected because if he is reelected he will continue to be Barack Obama’s favorite Republican.   Those in the Washington establishment will continue to fund him as long as they believe he can win.

The Primary is still two and a half months away, but consider how you can volunteer.  If you are in Indiana or close to Indiana, consider joining the campaign for a weekend or a week.  They will need boots on the ground, especially as the election draws closer.

Even if you cannot make it to Indiana, there are still opportunities.  With modern technology, you can phone bank for a candidate from anywhere in the United States.

This is our first big fight of 2012.  We need to win.

Join me in this fight and on May 8th, we will ask Lugar and the GOP establishment, “Can you hear us now?”

Attention: All Indiana Patriots....if Lugar's residency in IN is in question....get records from the Tax-Assessor Collectors office (they are public record). Contact www.truethevote.org ...founded here in Houston by Catherine Englebrecht in '09. TTV went national in Mar '10 with 22 states in attendance. Go to their website, contact Founder Englebrecht, she will help/guide you on how to expose what you're looking for & could lead to an explosive revelation. With info she gives you, gather some volunteers to do what it takes to check the tax records, it will cost you nothing but your time. TTV exposed some 25,000 illegal voters in Houston, some 1800 with address of a vacant lot. News went national....several wks later around Aug. the bldg that housed all voting machines burned (3mos before Nov. '10elections)...plus DNC filed lawsuit saying verifying tax records was illegal....they lost the lawsuit. These tyrants will stop at nothing.

Judson, does this constitute for another contender to have the support of the tea-party? I can't supply the link, as it is attached to my email address.

Dear Conservative,

If I told you that the Pennsylvania Republican Party threw members of the Tea Party out of the PA State Convention, threatened those Tea Partiers with arrest, threw their petitions in the trash, and then endorsed a recent Democrat who voted for Obama as our candidate for Senate, you wouldn't believe it.

But that's exactly what happened at this year's Pennsylvania Republican Convention.

You see, here in Pennsylvania, the GOP often makes a formal endorsement before the Primary. Essentially, they try to tell primary voters who to vote for. Then they deny all the other candidates access to party voter lists and opportunities to speak to or to circulate literature at party events. They even use party money to run negative ads against other “non-endorsed” Republicans that dare to run against them. Worst of all, the Republican County Committees are told that if they don't enforce all of this, they'll have their charter revoked from the Republican Party!

This is an outrageous thing to do to the grassroots. Will you help me fight back?

We launched an online petition, urging the chairman of the state GOP to stay out of the primary and let the people decide. Nearly 1,600 people from across Pennsylvania signed this petition in just a little under a week. When the members of the Tea Party went to present these 1,600 petitions, the Pennsylvania GOP staff refused to let them deliver their petitions, had them THROWN OUT of the building by hotel security, and then literally threw their petitions in the trash. I was shocked – and angered. The Tea Party folks were told that if they came back they would be arrested!

After throwing the Tea Partiers and their petitions out, the Republican Party proceeded to endorse a candidate who admits he voted for Obama in the 2008 Primary. He also wrote a check to a liberal Democrat who later ran against our conservative Republican Senator, Pat Toomey in 2010!

Endorsing a recent Democrat who supported Obama alienates Tea Partiers, freedom-loving people, and everyone else we need to defeat Senator Bob Casey. This is suicide for the Republican Party.

I am the only life-long Constitutional Republican with a consistent voting history in this race who can win. Two of the current candidates were Democrats until recently. That's not good enough.

I am a proud Reagan conservative. I served for 18 years in the PA House, and I never made an unconstitutional vote. During my service, I regularly introduced complete alternate budgets - without any taxes increases or deficit spending. I was never afraid to stand up to leadership in Harrisburg, and that won't change when I go to Washington.

Situations may change, principles never do. I'm going to DC to help renew trust in government by restoring truth and to dismantle the oppressive Obama agenda. I will be proud to stand with Senators like Jim DeMint, Rand Paul, and Tom Coburn.

But I need your help to get there. If the PA GOP has their way, Pennsylvanians will nominate a candidate who voted for Obama! For the sake of PA and the nation, that must not happen!

We're going to send a message to the moderate GOP establishment that “The People" want to be heard and want a proven conservative in the Senate. Will you join me?

Thanks for your support.

If Mr. Rohrer is reputable (I haven't researched this yet) then this was a great slam to the tea-party from the PA convention.

Oregon's Ron Wyden lives with his wife in New York - he has a condo in Portland, but very rarely stays there...a complaint of Lars Larson's for years!

Excellent Strategy!!!!  Let's kick out the RINO's!!!!!!

Got news for you, all the senators ignore the constitution. Other wise Obama would be taken to task for making a recess appointment when there was no recess. There are numerous federal statue laws that have been passed which can be challenged on constitutional grounds, but it would be fruitless because we now have a liberal federal court and willing accomplices in our state legislatures.

I choose to call it a circle of corruption including the  federal courts, the congress, the state legislatures, state governors and local officals. They all want federal money. Your money! It's a cancer and the only wat to cure a cancer is to starve it.   I hate to be the profit of doom, but I see NO PEACEFUL way out of our present circumstance.

As I have been stating over the past year the root of the problem is the MONEY. Limit the money the federal government can access and "We The People" regain control of our destiny.

Thanks Joseph.

Thanks BB. I was reading those earlier and started writing a rebutal. It is actually funny! Obama has created more racial hate than anyone I know of for many years now. He has divided peoples on race, religion, class, etc., he is a con artist; a good one I must admit. He is dishonest to the core. Which makes me wonder about the peoples who support him.

This is disgusting. How can we make sure he gets voted out on primary day?!

How do we help with the phone bank?

NEITHER ROBERT KENNEDY, NOR HILLARY CLINTON WERE RESIDENTS OF NEW YORK AND THEY RAN FOR SENATOR FROM NEW YORK.  WHAT IS WRONG WITH THAT PICTURE?

Yes. Hillary & Bill bought a house there before she filed papers...as did Robert Kennedy and his wife in their day.
