The Thief in Chief strikes again.
Once again, we are hearing the Party of Treason, led by Barack Obama whining that certain Americans are not paying their “fair share” of taxes.
Yet when you hear what has been going on in the Obama Regime, you have to ask the question, why should any American be asked to fork over another dime in taxes?
What has happened that is so outrageous that people should be indicted and sent to prison?
Last year, the IRS sent out $21 billion in fraudulent tax refunds. Over 2000 of those tax refunds went to one single address.
You might think that this is incompetence on a level that can only be pulled off by the Federal Government.
You are wrong.
It is fraud and this fraud is aided and abetted by people in the Obama Regime.
Our friends over at the Washington Guardian are reporting what is going on in the IRS. Supervisors at the IRS have been encouraging IRS employees to look the other way when there are cases of potential fraud.
The way this scandal is happening is simple. If you cannot apply for a normal social security number, say because you are an illegal alien, you can apply for a tax ID number. These TIN’s are then used for people to allegedly file taxes.
What is happening is that people are applying for tax refunds using TIN’s instead of social security numbers.
Last year, the IRS sent out $6.8 billion in tax refunds to people using TIN’s instead of social security numbers.
$6.8 billion!
The IRS has no idea how many of these refunds were legitimate and how many were fraudulent.
Supervisors at the IRS were telling their employees to process the applications for TIN’s as quickly as possible and encouraging them to ignore obvious signs of fraud. In addition, the IRS quit using techniques used in the past that had been very successful in identifying fraudulent applications.
The reason we have a huge national debt and a huge deficit is simple. Not only are we spending too much money but we have a government that not only does not want to stop wasteful spending, but encourages it.
Then they have the nerve to come to small businesses and demand small businesses pay more in taxes!
There is a solution to this crisis. Barack Obama will not do it as long as he is in the White House. Mitt Romney might do it or then again he might not. But with public support and conservative control of the House and Senate, this plan is possible.
What is the plan?
Create a commission.
The Commission would be charged with going through every aspect of the Federal Government to root out waste, fraud, corruption and abuse.
Then this commission would submit its report to Congress with the recommended cuts in spending and changes in laws that permit wasteful spending, such as allowing illegal aliens to have taxpayer ID numbers and allowing them to file for refunds.
Once submitted to Congress, there would then be an up or down vote on the contents of the report. Congress could not change any of the proposals. Then if it were approved, it would go to the President for signature.
This commission could not have any current or former Senators, Members of Congress or appointees to the current or previous administrations, so that no one is involved who is protecting their “turf.”
This is a great idea, which could help move America out of the fast lane to national bankruptcy and collapse.
Unfortunately, with business as usual in Washington, the chances of this proposal being enacted are pretty much less than zero.

I have a simpler solution. Repeal the 16th amendment as well as the 17th amendment and add one admentment to cut off congresse's authority to tax and charge fees. Their sole source of income would be import and export duties. The solution is get them out of our pockets for good.

Judson, I adore you! I can read the frustration in your post! I love the tea party and all they stand for; that's why I joined! However, your suggestion is just another Bureau or Section adding to the myriad that are there now! We honestly don't need ONE MORE government employee/agent, etc. We need, as Ron Paul says, to minimize government! Technically, that's what the IG does in the military and what the GAO is supposed to do! They are pretty much useless! Anyone in a "watchdog" capacity has got to have teeth! Look at the 2,000 bankers this past year..... yes, 2000.. you don't hear much about it but they were given the option to resign or be charged! Naturally all but 20 of the most guilty chose to retire/resign! We never prosecute anyone... never incarcerate anyone! When this started, I don't know! Look at the Congresswoman last week that was guilty of fraud - spending money on personal things; employing family in a phony capacity to siphon money and she was "fined" 10,000.00! She should have been put into prison! Ron Paul has the answer! Disband the IRS! Put in a flat rate National Sales tax and the taxes are collected at point of sale and paid to the U. S. Treasury weekly! Look, I made a detailed list and posted it all over the place that Illegal Immigrants are costing us over a half trillion dollars per year! Only because our great leader, whom I consider to be an Illegal Immigrant, won't enforce our existing Immigration laws! In 2007, I think it was in June this happened, I was working with the hierarchy of Venezuela and at one meeting, Chavez had just returned from a whirlwind tour where he visited Castro and China! He was bragging about his new business for the country where they would (for a fee of I think, $30,000.00) let any Al Qaeda, et al, come and train some months there and learn Spanish and then they would assist them in crossing "illegally" into the U. S. We don't even know who these illegals are!!! Anyhow, I don't agree with your plan because it is, like all the others, Government run and reporting to our Congress who don't act on anything!

If you work for a private industry and you permit money to be sent to fraudulent parties you are warned, or fired summarily. One way or another, the practice won't be allowed to continue. (Of course, if you're former Democrat senator John Corzine and you misplace $2 Billion, no worries.) Past a point -- say, a point where it's winked at in public offices -- it has to be considered embezzlement. If it's knowing, then what does it matter whether or not the proceeds are for personal or other use? They're still using a position of trust to cause our funds to be misappropriated.
Will Republicans indict anyone? If not, why not? And how can the practice of using TIN's be continued for another day, knowing what we know? When will our side step up and prevent us from continually being scammed? Must be bad for social invitations.

We tried getting rid of SOME of our RINO's and even had good candidateS to replace THEM, but the establishment GOP got all their friends to vote him back into office. He is one of the good ole boys, and they were not about to let a person who believes in the rule of law to oust their guy. It is sickening. You can't beat city hall and you can't beat the good ole boys here in the South, because they have the clout and the money to buy elections for one of their own. It is no wonder that people give up voting and stay home because they are tired of working their butts off for a good candidate and having the same old garbage shoved down their throats because the good ole boys keep funding the rotten one's we are trying to get rid of. It is a no win situation most of the time. The Rule of Law is dead because the good ole boys choose what laws they will abide by and what laws on the books (even if they are enacted and put into law by the Legislature) they will follow or not. Our Justice system is blind to the manipulations going on as well, or just choose to play along with the People in Power. God Help Us All because you can't count on the sytem to work for us -- WE THE PEOPLE.

When an institution is as badly broken, as corrupt and as dishonest as "our" federal government is there any real hope that it will be able to heal itself? I don't think so. I think it is just a matter of when, not if, that the pathetically incompetent, dishonest institution will collapse in under the weight of its own unsupportable mass.
I think the only hope for restoring and sustaining the nation that we once had is for the state governments to step in and clean house in that strange little foreign country that's called "The District of Columbia." How likely is that?

I agree with Shirley. And Grover Norquist, we don't need to grow government, we need to shrink it. Shrink it down to the size where, if necessary, you could strangle it in a bathtub. Obama has a Waste Fraud and Abuse Czar. Anybody remember his or her name? Whether or not it was a man or a women? The first one threw up their hands after a month and the second one hasn't been heard or seen since. They apparently just melted into the Washington bureaucracy and have been collecting a fat government paycheck for the last 3 and a half years. And they will probably be eligible for some kind of fat government pension too, all for doing nothing but taking up tax dollars.
No, the government needs to be starved out not grown.
