It seems that women are supporting Newt or at leas they did in that primary. Secondly, you sound like a Republican establishment guru so your opinion does that really count for much on this thread! We are just as committed to getting rid of the RINOs as we are the liberal Democrats! As pointed out by Katie Kalpin, I think you would be happier on a different page because you're not gonna gain much traction on this page!

For Newt to call Romney a moderate was being too kind. Romney is more of a liberal.
You say that the tea party is pushing way too far "right." What is it about conservative do you not understand? It is conservative that wants less government and a HALT on the spending. The tea-party better not move to the middle as you suggest they do. If they did, they wouldn't stand for much of anything different than what we have now. Conservative = Far to the Right!

Permalink Reply by Mike NQR on January 27, 2012 at 3:05pm Welcome to Florida on a weekend with moderate temps. You'll be no place near my neck of the woods, but welcome.
I'm on board with whoever it is. I agree with you in that he looks the strongest.

Permalink Reply by Katie Kalpin on January 28, 2012 at 12:45am Kevin that's because you have on the rose peddle Glasses. Romney is NOT strong, did you see how the others were showing Conservative Unity and Romney jumped in and instead of going after the liberal Media like the rest of them he challanged Newt? That's Typical cornered liberal...that's Mittens for ya.That's what you are OK with being in office? Another WIMP? No thank you. Romney hears that a bad boy who would challange him was going to be that Radio's talk host...and Romeny refused to do the call himself and sent a Flunkie..who stammered his way through...that's really what you want? A man who RUNS? WEll you have that now. His name is OBAMA!
LOL!!!! I had actually been on the fence between Romney and Gringrich. After Gringrich threw those haymakers in South Carolina, I said if Romney could take the shots and stand up to Newt, I would go with Romney. If not I would go with Newt. Romney got his legs back and took it to Gringrich. He's ready for the General. Newt is not. He's not ready for a national primary. I'm choosing the best candidate without a clear conservative in the group.
I would say it is you that has the rose glasses on. You're remembering Newt as speaker not bomb thrower he's become.

Difference between you and me is you're trying so hard not pick Romney. You are forgetting what Newt has been lately--an erratic conservative. I'm just making a judgment of who's the best barring any true conservative.
