DO YOU KNOW WHAT THIS IS? WHERE THIS IS?

THE STATUE

This statue
Currently stands outside the Iraqi palace,

Now home to the 4th Infantry division.

It will
Eventually be shipped home

And put in the
Memorial museum in Fort Hood , TX

The statue
Was created by
an Iraqi
Artist named Kalat,
Who for years was forced by
Saddam Hussein to make the many hundreds
Of bronze busts of Saddam that dotted Baghdad ...

Kalat was so
Grateful for the Americans liberation of his country;

He melted 3 of the heads of the fallen
Saddam and made the statue as a memorial to the American soldiers

And their fallen
Warriors.

Kalat
Worked on this memorial night and day for several months.

To the left of the
Kneeling soldier is a small Iraqi girl giving the soldier comfort as he mourns the
Loss of his comrade in arms..

Do you
Know why we don't hear about this in the news?

Because it
Is heart-warming
And
Praise worthy..

The media
Avoids it because it does not have the shock effect.

But we
Can do something about it.

We can
Pass this along to as many people as we can in honor of all our brave
Military who are making a difference.

Gratefulness is a worldwide human emotion. I beleive most Iraqis are truely grateful for what America and her vailant soldiers have done by liberating their nation from a brutal dictator.

The war in Iraq is and was a noble task that our military took on and they will always be remembered in the Iraqi experience.

God bless our Troops, always.

Isn't it amazing how once we get the Governments out of the way, how truly precious we find people from other countries. Yes I know that when we are engaged in conflict with them we are supposed to be enemies, but at times the heart will not allow a Christian to do anything but love.
For years I have needed to have dental implants and kept trying to get dentures to work, and I found a new dentist in a small town here in Texas and went to him, he just took xrays and told me, Mr valentine I will not build you dentures, but I will place implants to which I can attach dentures that will work, I told him my Cancer Doc tells me that my bones are not stable enough to hold implants, he smiled and said ,if they do not hold,I will not charge you,I said how long? He said until you feel that you owe me, the only other place I had discussed these with said it will; be a min of $20,000, I just said I don't think I can afford to do that at the moment, he said how do you know,you don't know how much I would charge you, he said is $5000 too much, I couldnt help it I just hugged him. Of course I said yes.
He and his beautiful wife had come here two years ago and friends were not too plentiful, but they told me when he was finished I asked his wife, where such beautiful and sweet ladies come from and she whispered in my ear Iran, and not one bad word could I ever say about this wonderful family...

that is great to hear.
The Lord God made it clear in 1 Samuel, that the government will always be enemy to the people. God is to be our Leader and King. It was the people who wanted men to rule them like all the nations of the world. But we are to be different from the world, we are to be led and ruled only by the Lord our God.
