Tonight Barack Obama will present what will hopefully be his last State of the Union address.
From Real Clear Politics:
After three years in office, the president will say America’s dwindling middle class is at a critical turning point in which they are either at the mercy of Republicans who favor “less opportunity and less fairness,” or are led by his vision for a stronger, more equitable economy in 2012 and beyond.
He will say “fairness for all” and American “values” mean offering incentives to encourage companies to keep manufacturing, services and opportunities from migrating abroad; supporting training and education for skilled workers in the United States; creating a tax code that rewards the middle class and asks the wealthiest Americans to pay more; and supporting alternative energy policies that also create new jobs while weaning the country from dependency on oil.
“Fairness?” Who the hell is he to tell anyone what is fair?
The middle class in America is shrinking thanks to the policies of the Party of Treason, led by Obama, Pelosi and Reid.
Tonight’s State of the Union speech is going to be a lot of what we would expect from a President running for reelection.
Of course it is Obama offering the speech, so the speech will probably be best described as bovine scatology.
The Speech begins at 9 Eastern and we will have our open thread, if you can stand to watch it.
If you choose to watch it, remove all breakable objects within arm reach, as well as everything that could be thrown at a TV. A stomach distress bag is also recommended.

Besides, Mark Levin already gave a succinct response to BO's State of the Union address.
Levin received an 'Dear Friend' e-mail from BO saying he is getting ready to give the S of the U and then asks for a donation. A bit irregular for a president to ask for a contribution to his campaign while using the State of the Union as a prop, don't ya think? No class....

Permalink Reply by Jim Hoff on January 24, 2012 at 7:26pm Sorry, I can't bring myself to give this guy 30 seconds. He will lie and try to talk people into letting him take us further down the road of marxism. He is scum and not worth the time. I know the state of the nation...
Permalink Reply by Snappyj123 on January 24, 2012 at 7:26pm This is the first time in history that I can say I absolutely cannot watch it. I cannot look at Obama without seeing horns coming out of his head; it is the presence of evil.
Permalink Reply by Simantov on January 24, 2012 at 8:04pm LOL, well, I don't know about the horns, but I can't watch him on TV either. I'm going to take a radio into the kitchen while I make dinner - it's only 6pm here. Maybe, just maybe I can listen for a minute or two. He's such a smooth talker, but by now that's all I think he is - just a con man.
Permalink Reply by Roger Tucker on January 24, 2012 at 7:28pm Thank goodness for cable tv.
Permalink Reply by LARRY TRAMEL on January 24, 2012 at 7:28pm Why? He is just going to tell more lies.
Forgive me Judson, but I really want to keep my dinner down. I just can't stomach the smug lies, but I will read your open thread.
However, I will watch Herman Cain's speech afterwards.

Permalink Reply by Mark A. Gorski on January 24, 2012 at 7:32pm I flat out will not listen to a word out of his mouth. Unfortunately there are still a lot of Americans who still believe the President doesn't lie. Who still believe that only honorable and patriotic people get elected president and who will lign up to drink the Kool-Aid. Those are the ones we MUST enlighten.

He told Mark that, as a black man, he is pressured to support BO. He won't. His response is, " I am an American".
