The State of the Union debate thread
Tonight Barack Obama will present what will hopefully be his last State of the Union address.
From Real Clear Politics:
After three years in office, the president will say America’s dwindling middle class is at a critical turning point in which they are either at the mercy of Republicans who favor “less opportunity and less fairness,” or are led by his vision for a stronger, more equitable economy in 2012 and beyond.
He will say “fairness for all” and American “values” mean offering incentives to encourage companies to keep manufacturing, services and opportunities from migrating abroad; supporting training and education for skilled workers in the United States; creating a tax code that rewards the middle class and asks the wealthiest Americans to pay more; and supporting alternative energy policies that also create new jobs while weaning the country from dependency on oil.
“Fairness?” Who the hell is he to tell anyone what is fair?
The middle class in America is shrinking thanks to the policies of the Party of Treason, led by Obama, Pelosi and Reid.
Tonight’s State of the Union speech is going to be a lot of what we would expect from a President running for reelection.
Of course it is Obama offering the speech, so the speech will probably be best described as bovine scatology.
The Speech begins at 9 Eastern and we will have our open thread, if you can stand to watch it.
If you choose to watch it, remove all breakable objects within arm reach, as well as everything that could be thrown at a TV. A stomach distress bag is also recommended.

He reminds me of someone running for high school President of the SCA. He promises something for everyone. What he delivers is quite the opposite. His speech is filled with lies and class warfare. I think he still believes what he is saying. I hope no one else does.

Livestream Video Crew Making Preparations to Head for Atlanta Heari...
We’ll have a crew recording the action at this week’s Obama Ballot Challenge hearings in Atlanta.
Recently, we’ve learned more about videostreaming technology than we ever wanted to know. Fortunately, we have people like Georgia Ballot Challenge Plaintiff Kevin Powell, who does this for a living, to help us along with this. He was on-site at the courthouse yesterday to check on technical and administrative things.
One thing we did learn is that it is not cheap. We are doing this to make sure that the whole nation can have live, uncut, uncensored access to what is going on. This is not being done with a smartphone, but with heavy duty equipment and systems, with Tech Support.
We’re also helping to finance witness travel expenses, too.
It would be most helpful if you could find it in your heart, or at least in your wallet, to help us with this effort, by contributing, or we will have scary Visa card bills soon.

I thought Mitch Daniels rebuttal sucked, but of course all those that want to usurp the people and have Mitch made the nominee via a convention, they thought he was a superstar.

Herman Cain's response and rebuttal to the SOTU was the ONLY rational, reasonable, enlightening, encouraging and constructive (with common sense, workable ideas and plans) speech given all night - by ANYONE.
