If you want a preview of the campaign this fall and the real possibility that Mitt Romney who would win the election if it were held today, may quite possibly blow our chance to get Obama out of office.
What is Romney doing that could blow his chances?
His senior advisor Eric Ferhnstorm made an appearance on CNN. The last time he did that he announced Romney would reset after the primary, like an etch a sketch, forgetting all of the conservative things he had said in the primary and would move way over to the left.
This time Ferhnstorm appeared to give comfort to the Martha’s Vineyard crowd. Mitt Romney is not a birther. RINO’s from coast to coast have breathed a sigh of relief. Wine bottles and Brie cheese is being broken out all across RINOland.
That has got to be one of the dumbest things Romney could have done.
Before this goes any further, there should be a disclaimer here. While a number of nutty leftist sites describe me as a birther, I have said repeatedly I believe it is more likely than not Obama was born in Hawaii, pretty much as advertised.
However, questions have been raised about his eligibility to serve and it is incumbent upon him to answer those questions. Instead of answering those questions, he has obfuscated. His long form birth certificate would solve the issue. Instead he released an amateurishly forged image. This forgery was so bad a first year law student could keep it from being admitted as evidence in a court proceeding.
In American law, if one side has exclusive possession of an item and refuses to produce it, the judge or jury can assume they are doing so because whatever the item is, it is adverse to their position. In other words, if this case were ever in front of a jury, the judge would tell that jury that because Barack Obama will not produce that birth certificate, they could assume that the birth certificate hurt his case.
For Romney, the obvious question is why the hell are you surrendering on this issue? You do not have to come out like Donald Trump did. Perhaps you should take a look at Trump’s numbers while he was going after Obama on his eligibility. Obama released that forged birth certificate because Trump was hitting him so hard.
Memo to Romney. You do not win an election by being on the defensive. You win by putting the other guy on the defensive. You don’t even have to make the attack yourself.
If Romney does not believe this, just wait. All of the attacks on his Mormon faith are going to be coming from surrogates while Obama washes his hands.
This is one issue that could cause Obama problems this summer. But not any more. Romney has surrendered faster than John Boehner. Once again, Mitt Romney has showed up for debate club while Barack Obama is showing up for fight club.
If it could be proven that Obama was born in Kenya, lost his citizenship due to his adoption by a foreign national or lost his citizenship through another means, Obama was never eligible to be President. For conservatives, this is the Holy Grail. This would undo everything that Barack Obama has done.
Unfortunately for us, Mitt Romney has no desire to undo what Barack Obama has done.
For conservatives, no matter how bad Mitt Romney is, Barack Obama is worse. We must continue to work and make certain that Obama does not get a second term. Unfortunately with a candidate like Romney, this may be a long hot summer.

I believe he will not get us out our mess..it is too late for him..... We needed somebody like Sarah or Newt....

The question is "what might persuade him to move back to the right?" The only thing i can think of would be if Romney starts losing support in the polls in the more conservative areas like the South or Midwest.

The opinion is so strong now though it still won't change, because no matter what I say, all those who bought the lie are too proud to admit they made a gross error. All you're now trying to say to wake us up, I tried to say early in the campaign, but no one would listen then and they're not about to listen now. The only hope we had, (I know many will slam me for saying this) was to nominate Newt. I knew that Mitt would do exactly as you now are saying he will do and when he does Obama will mop the floor with him. Why didn't any one listen when we could do something about it? The only chance we now have is if somehow enough of the electorate overwhelmingly demands Obama's removal. The only problem with that is that all Obama has to do is authorize the Keystone pipeline which will create tens of thousands af new jobs and lower the cost of fuel overnight, and everyone will feel so good Obama will crush Mitt. Newt would have called Obama's hand on that and every other issue. Let's just pray!

All he has to do is say he was just waiting until all environmental concerns were answered before he signed the release. He's actually alluded to that before, and I believe he's just waiting until his move will have the greatest impact, which will be sometime in October.

Permalink Reply by Richard Harper on Judson, in discussing the issue of Obama's birth, you did not mention, along with every other conservative medium in the world, other than WND.com (who only does so obtusely), the one central fact that is true (unless Obama changes his story later, therefore proving fraud with no other testimony). Obama is not "natural born" , and therefore, violating the Constitution. Why is it that you are joining almost every consservative news medium in this country in avoiding the one central fact, that if pursued, would invalidate his presidency?
i truly do not understand this thinking. There is no denying there are five supreme court cases which agree on the meaning of the term and have set precedence. Please explain this to me, because it is doing the country a great disservice. If you will explain this to me, perhaps I can uderstand why every Congressman, judge and and State Secretary of State are violating their oaths of office to "protect and defend the Constitutioon" !!!

Correct on almost all accounts. HOWEVER, you left out the fact that Obama does not qualify to be President since he does not meet the "Natural Born Citizen" requirement. Obama's father was not nor was his father ever a U.S. citizen.
By the way, don't call me names! I am an American who believes in the value of upholding our Constitution. If you must call me a name so that you may better deal with the fact that "I" and others like me stand in defense of our country then call me an American Constitutionist.
Romney will never get my vote! Romney should never get your vote! Obama should be impeached and those who have aided him in usurping the Presidency should be thrown in prison with him.
On a side note, Rubio does not qualify to be Vice Prersident since he does not meet the "Natural Bonr Citizen" requirement since he did not become a U.S. citizen until the age of three or four along with his parents.

As long as they just keep on going after the birth cirtificate, the fact that Obama did not have two citizen parents gets thrown by the way, and there is no way that can be disputed. With so many on the cirtificate track we have little chance.
