Michael Steele is done. Stick a fork in him.
Getting rid of Steele is not the problem. That will happen. There will be a new Chairman of the RNC. Replacing Steele with a conservative and not a RINO is the issue.
The RINO establishment, which helped get Steele in there to begin with, is now racing to replace him with another RINO.
While I do not speak for the Tea Party, this one time I will.
NO RINO in the RNC Chairman’s office.
Let’s do a quick reminder. In 2006, as the RINO’s ran the GOP, liberals took a majority in the Senate and the House. Conservatives stayed home. In 2008, RINO’s managed to have their dream. A RINO as the GOP nominee for President. What happened? The results were even worse. Not only did the GOP not win the White House, we lost more in the House and Senate. The liberals scored so well, they got a filibuster proof majority in the Senate for a while.
We do not need Dr. Phil to figure out how that was working out for us.
Then came the Tea Party. The Tea Party did not spring into existence just to save the GOP. This movement came about to save the Country.
The 2010 elections were not a case of America suddenly falling in love with the GOP. America said, “hell no” to the liberals and their socialist agenda. We the people want a conservative, constitutional government. IF the GOP wants any relevance, you would be wise to heed this warning – Do NOT put a RINO in the RNC Chairman’s seat.
The battle over the RNC Chair is the first battle with the GOP and the first test of whether the GOP is listening. The Tea Party is not simply here to sing GOP Uber Alles. The GOP is at a cross roads and if the GOP does not pick a Tea Party candidate to be the Chair of the RNC, the Tea Party is going to walk.
Saul Anuzis is one candidate for the RNC Chair. He has been involved in the Tea Party movement and has been working hard, staying in touch with Tea Party groups as he tries to be the next RNC Chair. He would be a good choice.
We cannot allow an “establishment” Republican to take over the RNC. While the RNC is in theory neutral in the primary process, we all know that is a joke. A RINO RNC chair would open the door for a RINO nominee in 2012. The selection of a RINO in 2012 would be the kiss of death. It would be 2008 all over again, where Americans simply have the choice between two liberals.
We are not going to stand for that.
Here is the message to the GOP. We, the conservatives, the Tea Partiers and the liberty group members elected Republicans last month, not because we loved the GOP but because you were not the liberals.
Few in the Tea Party movement want a third party, but we have a very simple message for your.
Go liberal on us and we have enough time to create a third party and send the GOP into the ash heap of history.

Permalink Reply by Ticked Off on December 17, 2010 at 1:05am WHAT? Someone mentioned Rick Perry! From what I heard from Texans Perry originally ran on an anti-illegal immigrant stance, but once he got elected he did an about-face!. I am sick of about-face candidates.
I never heard of Saul Anuzi. Does he have a long track record of proven conservative voting?
