Less than 24 hours have passed since Newt Gingrich convincingly won South Carolina. The RINO establishment has been going nuts since then.
Every major RINO has been coming unglued this morning at the prospect that Newt Gingrich the scrappy conservative might beat liberal Mitt Romney and become the GOP nominee.
The formerly conservative and now snotty Ann Coulter got snarky early this morning on Fox and Friends, sniffing that Republicans were throwing away the chance to win just so they could have Gingrich throw zingers out at Obama.
Really? How about a little proof that liberal Mitt Romney can win? That of course is about as realistic as the chances of a real Democratic tax cut.
RINO Washington Post columnist Jennifer Rubin absolutely lost it in her tweets last night. Today she penned an open letter to the RINO establishment begging them to get someone to stop the conservative. After all, the RINO establishment would rather see four more years of Obama than they would see conservatives take control of the party again.
Fred Barnes quickly got on the Weekly Standard to give Mitt Romney the advice he would need to beat Newt Gingrich.
Get a big idea. The only reason people like Newt is because of big ideas.
Fred, here is a clue. The fact the ideas are big is a bonus. We like it because Newt actually has ideas. We like the fact Newt is a leader.
Newt understands something none of these RINOs do not. He understands what real Americans understand.
We say things like, “Government is not the solution, it is the problem.” “The problem with Washington is it takes too much, does too much, rules too much.” “Washington spends too much money.” “We are taxed enough already.”
For conservatives, these words have meaning. These are principles we live by. These are truths that are self-evident and problems that we must correct.
Freedom and liberty are words we live by. They are not punch lines for jokes or simply an arcane liturgy that must be recited for the great unwashed masses.
RINOs simply laugh at conservatives, like liberals do.
Like liberals, they think they are superior to the folks who live in real America.
RINOs gave us John McCain and the big spending Republican congresses that all but killed the Republican Party. It was the real Americans who are members of the Tea Party that brought the Republican Party back from the edge of extinction.
We have some news for you RINOs. This is our year, not yours. We saved the party you almost destroyed. You can sit down and get out of the way.
This is the year of the Conservative, not the RINO.
Permalink Reply by Edmund Goodwin on January 23, 2012 at 3:25am Everyone above: Well, it IS appalling that the English language is being murdered so often by so many. Also, I realize that it is the "progressives" (communists) who took over our school system and dumbed it down. So I'll back off a bit. That's why we should change things such that NO (zero) Federal money should ever go to the school system, and no Federal regulation should ever be aimed at it.
Whilst I'm in a teaching mood... Whilst I grew up, I always wondered why the two major parties named themselves Democrats and Republicans. And I was always told that Democracy was the utmost in good government. Furthermore, I understood that "our Republic" meant "our Democracy."
Later in life, I learned that Democracy means 51 wolves and 49 sheep voting on what's for supper. Then I learned that democracies throughout history have ALWAYS degenerated into despotic, communist totalitarianism. Next, I learned that the utopia of communism's single class of everybody equal really meant an elite class with everything and the masses-class with nearly nothing, but quite equally. Our Founders knew these things, for they were far better educated than we. That's why they built us a Republic ("if we can keep it").
Finally, now I realize why the Democrats named themselves after their utopian pipedream, and the Republicans named themselves after our great nation's foundation. If we had no RINOs, - - - -

Permalink Reply by Rights4Right on January 22, 2012 at 5:00pm Fantastic call-out article Judson! The Rinos are running around like a bunch of cockroaches with the lights on them now. Ann Coulter will diminish now with the rest of Team Fox...Unfair and UNBALANCED. Most of the conservatives don't watch FOX any more anyway!
Permalink Reply by Sunny on January 22, 2012 at 5:19pm TO: Rights4Right: I have become soooo disappointed with FOX. What DO conservatives watch now?
Sunny, I also have become very disappointed in Fox although I did love Megan Kelly's interview with two members of the company allegedly shut down by Bain and it turned out they were lied to by the producers of the pac ad. While Bain owned it they got two substantial raises, paid medical and one got a promotion. The company was then sold to Raytheon, then to some teacher's union investment firm who ran it into the ground and left with the money!! I get my news on the internet, The Blaze, GBTV, The Real News and various other sites. Regular TV is off most of the day now and I don't miss their crap at all. Too much opinion and not enough honest journalism.
Permalink Reply by janet barks on January 23, 2012 at 12:53am I won't watch faux either. I had it on mute, but when Carl Cameron came on I turned up the volume. He said that Romney had plans to come out strong against Gingrich on something that I didn't catch.
Then he said that Santorum had plans to do what he could to prove that Gingrich is not conservative. Ya know, I am not sure I even like Santorum for that. So, going into Florida they have big nasty plans.
Do you remember on one of the first debates that there was a question asked: If you were the nominee who on this stage would you choose as a running mate. Mr. Santorum stated that he would choose Gingrich because he was the one that closest represented what he believed. Well, now he is willing to throw him under the bus! It makes him (Santorum) look very confused (I can think of other things to say about Santorum). Watch the clip:

Permalink Reply by Barbara O Cassel on January 23, 2012 at 5:41pm Just wait until after the primaries and it should really get down and dirty with Commie Obammie fighting for his political life.
Permalink Reply by Norman Zink on January 22, 2012 at 5:35pm I quit watching Fox News 2 years ago. Just cannot stand their bias anymore. Talk radio, for me, is a substitute. Hannity, Rush, and Levin have entertaining and at times enlightened views on the world of politics. So I appreciate them. What's up with Coulter currying favor with the lib's, sshe's been drinking too much of the cyanide laced kool-aid??
Permalink Reply by Doc Franklin on January 22, 2012 at 9:46pm It's all part of elitists plans to influence our opinions and control the conversation. With conservatives, we had FOX Network doing and saying what all of us conservatives have craved for years. They then, slowly move things to the left, frame by frame so to speak, hoping we won't notice and that we will continue to agree with their viewpoints which are always progressing to the left. Just like a frog in the pot of water. They take who we thought were conservative icons and slowly have them espouse tolerance to this or to that, which is really nothing more than compromise, hoping we will go along for the ride. Well not this time. Ted Turner had a golden opportunity to tell the world the truth several decades ago, instead he became a representative for the dark side. Murdoch's network is going down the same road. But it's not working so well this time. Why do you think they want the power to shut down the internet or enforce the "fairness doctrine" on talk radio? If they're going to control us, they must control the conversation and information.
Permalink Reply by John Beck on January 22, 2012 at 5:47pm It sure would nice to see a good conservative news agency come on the scene...
What about World Net Daily, Newsmax, they endorsed Newt, and Breitbart?
Perhaps it's time to make a list of internet conservative news media for all of us to visit.
