I’m getting kinda tired of the “cut off your nose to spite your face” attitude of some posters. Particularly the argument over Mormonism. The most important question for any candidate is not what is his religion, it is what are his values? How does he live his life? I learned a long time ago that when words and behavior don’t agree, discard the words.
What difference does it make what Mormons believe? What matters is how they behave. Is their behavior as culturally acceptable in America as Christianity or Judaism? If it is, what does it matter if they believe in one God or many Gods or that they will become God or anything else? That gets answered in the hereafter. What matters now is, are they decent human beings who shares our values?
I’m Catholic. One of my biggest heroes is Dennis Prager a dedicated, practicing Jew. I have heard him, many time, show gratitude that America was founded as a Christian nation because it is the only nation in history (before Israel) where Jews were accepted and able to make a home and prosper without being persecuted.
Here are two videos of Dennis Prager reasoning. Think about what he is saying before you spitefully reelect Obama by not voting for Romney.
The first one took place before the midterm elections.
This one is about his new book.
Dennis Prager can be heard over the internet on KRLA from 9:00am til noon Pacific time.
