Since I became well known for being a part of the Tea Party movement, I have received all kinds of nasty messages and even a few threats from the left.
Of course, since Ron Paul and his supporters come from that background, I’m not shocked that they have acted out the only way they know how to.
Ron Paul and his supporters share a trait with the far left. There can be no dissent from their orthodoxy. Much as Kim Jong Il would not let there be independent thought in North Korea, the Pauliban will not allow anyone to say anything that even disagrees with Ron Paul.
Some of the emails and comments I have received today have been down right amusing but they do show the mentality of the Pauliban.

Like socialist everywhere, he does not like for profit entities. He has a problem with the free market. I bet he does not have a problem with Ron Paul making millions peddling his news letters filled with conspiracy theories and racist remarks.

This was not all of the emails and FaceBook comments I received.
But they reflect the attitude of Ron Paul supporters. They do not believe in liberty for all. They believe in liberty for themselves. They believe in being allowed to say or do what ever they want but those rights are not extended to anyone who disagrees with them.
Ron Paul and his supporters are just another shade of left wing extremists.

However Judson, Ron Paul is truly the only honest and thinking person that is running for president today. It is difficult for humans, you too, to shift your paridigm and start thinking with a clean slate as opposed from starting from a base that has been developed by decades of state mandated education.

That is what is wrong with Ron Paul,he doesn't think. He rambles on and on. Just when you think he is making sense,he comes up with something completly crazy. He has went over the edge. Their is some things I agree with him on,such as limiting Gov,the Fed,and a few other things. That being said his foreign policy is nuts,and to throw my support behind him is not going to happen. He scares me as bad as Obama.

Clearly this is one of the many reasons why this country is so screwed up. People put more weight on foreign policy than anything else. Is there something we can disagree with on any candidate? Of course, but we are herded to believe that if you agree with Ron Paul you must be crazy, even if most of what he says is not. Personally, I would think that domestic policies are the most important. As a matter of fact, the same domestic policies that most of you agree with Ron Paul on, yet you'll push him aside because you are told he's "crazy" without any real proof of it.

I guess I am a left wing extremist because I agree with 90% of Pauls message. Small government, no more IRS, adherence to the Constitution, sound money and get US troops home ASAP. Only thing I disagree with is Iran. But we dont have to bomb them, we just have to develope our energy sector here at home so we become net exporters of Crude and Nat Gas.....that will end the moneyflow to all the MidEast and Russia to boot.
Why the angst about Paul? his IDEAS would get this country back on its feet again.
And yes , some of Pauls supporters are a little nutty, but so what, they are hardly leftwingers..jeez............
