I don't know how my response got to be a topic. I beg your forgiveness. I get hundreds of emails daily and delete many. The email in question basically outlined the goals of the Tea Party. There are other Tea Party groups that have the same goals in mind. All I am saying is all of us should unite to bring a stronger force to bear on government. They count numbers and will, take notice of a larger group.
Possibly Judson can help you out with finding the email. He may have even written it.

This TP positions on the issues list is an ongoing work in progress. At this point (Today-12/1/11) it is a 20 point list being promoted by http://teapartyorganizers.com. The purpose is to cause the Admins/membership of the various major and minor TP oriented groups nationwide to work together to 1st develop a basic TP positions on the issues list for public consumption. The initial list should be simple stating only basic positions. Once the basic position verbiage has been established/agreed to we can link each position to the TP suggested/proposed method(s) for addressing the issue. This is not an attempt to form a 3rd party but it is an attempt to develop TP positions on the issues for public consumption. The public at large needs to be made aware of the TP position on the various issues. That is the only reason for doing this. Here is the list as of right now->
1. Deficit Spending must end.
2. Government must be Downsized.
3. The National Budget must be Balanced.
4. Illegal aliens are trespassers and must be dealt with..
5. Intrusive Government must be Stopped.
6. Bailout & Stimulus plans are Illegal. **(Verbiage needs some work)**
7. A strong Military is essential.
8. Gun Ownership is a right.
9. Special Interests/Lobbying of Federal politicians must be Eliminated.
10.English, as our core/official language is required.
11.Political offices must be available to average Citizens.**(This verbiage needs some work)**
12.Major tax reform is a must.
13.Reducing Business Income Taxes is Mandatory.
14.Pro-domestic employment is indispensable.
15.Traditional family values are encouraged.
16.Energy self sufficiency is a goal.
17.The imbalance in trade must be brought to a balanced state.
18.The media must be caused to report the truth without ignoring relevant facts.
19.Address term limits/Retirement packages.
20.Freeze Govt hiring.

Thanks for helping me out. Like I said, I don't know how my comment got to be a topic. I hope we can all group together for strength and defeat the corrupt government at all levels.
