The Obama Regime is continuing its war on business and is doing everything it can to pay back its Union Supporters. The National Labor Relations Board has gone from being a neutral government entity to a full-fledged arm of the AFL-CIO.
Now, they are working hard to destroy small businesses with rules that allow Unions to come in and unionize with the owners of the business effectively being able to do anything about it.

In case you missed the latest Small-Business Economic Trends report, small employer confidence in the economy dipped in March, with the outlook for future hiring and growth flagging after what appeared to be a positive first quarter. From where members of the small-business community stand—it is a war out there. And the enemy takes the shape of increased taxes, political uncertainty and fear of new regulatory burdens.
Why then are some in Washington still determined to make our nation’s job creators the target of even more onerous and expensive regulations that discourage growth and increase the cost of doing business?
The purveyor of the latest assault on employer and employee rights is none other than the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB). It’s newest weapon? The aptly named “ambush election” rule.
The new regulation is an audacious attempt to increase restrictions on employers—mostly small ones—by more than halving the time they have to prepare for a union election in a private workplace.
Until the final rule was issued last December, employers had several weeks to prepare for a union election. Union elections typically occur about 56 days after a petition is filed—a reasonable amount of time for each side to gather and share information with employees. Now, union organizers have the ability to hold an election at a private business in as little as 10 days.
For business owners, this means they may have fewer than two weeks to obtain legal counsel to ensure that they are fairly represented in communications with employees about the consequences of unionization. Because the average small-business owner is not a labor relations expert and does not employ and in-house counsel, shortening the “critical period” before union elections is an unfair and unnecessary burden.
It distracts them from other important business needs and it siphons funds that could otherwise be used for expansion. For employees, the newly truncated timeline compromises their right to make an informed choice about unionization, and possibly a choice free from pressure or intimidation by union organizers.
The significance of this cannot be understated. The National Labor Relations Act and other Labor laws that touch on the issue of unionization provide very significant penalties for business owners and management who violate labor law provisions. Labor law is a very significant area of practice for lawyers with many lawyers specializing in that area.
With ten days notice, many employers cannot even retain labor lawyers to advise them in time for the union election. The owner of the business then faces the unenviable choice of either winging it and hoping they do not violate the law, or acquiesce to the unionization and watch their business and profits go down the tubes.
There is of course the third option that many have chosen.
They can take their business overseas.

Unions are old and out dated, just a money scheme to back the democrat party and nothing more. Take away small business and watch this country crumble very fast. And the fourth option: close the doors. That's likely what is being pursued by many in the Obama administration. More bodies on the public dole with an ever decreasing number of wage earners to pay the bills, more votes for Democrats to keep unemployment benefits flowing, thus leading even faster to the worker's paradise so hoped for by Obama.
Actually, CaliRay, Closing the Doors won't work any more than raising taxes on the job creators has worked. History proves that beyond any doubt. Every time a government has attempted to close the borders, to keep the wealthy in by force, it has been a dismal failure.
Just look at Nazi Germany. They implemented the Reichsfluchtsteuer and most of the wealthy Jews left Germany, either by paying the "Jew Tax" or by sneaking out across the frontier or bribing border guards. Then the Nazis tried to completel close the border and even more wealthy Jews left Germany. Sure, some didn't make it. But most of those who suffered through the Holocaust were not wealthy Jews. It was mostly those who didn't have the wherewithal to pay people to help them escape.
Throughout history, closing a nation's borders to wealth (leaving, that is) has only exacerbated the problem. DISINCENTIVES have NEVER worked, to FORCE the wealthy to do anything. The only thing that works with those who have the wherewithal to live wherever they want, is INCENTIVES that REWARD hard work, job creation and success.
Exit Taxes, such as the one that Dubyuh signed into law in the "Heroes Earnings Assistance and Relief Tax (HEART) Act" and border closures to wealth have ALWAYS had just the opposite of the desired effect. They ALWAYS increase the flight of capital. The only thing that such actions achieve is to keep in the smaller fish.
Imagine a businessman, who wants to leave, after the borders have been closed. He heads off to a meeting in San Diego or Brownsville, in his private plane and his plane accidentally strays over the border and lands in Mexico. Oops!
Exit Taxes and even closing borders to wealth don't work and never have.
The number of job creators who are leaving is already far larger than most would imagine. Zogby reports that "by a moderate estimate," more than 3 million Americans "relocate" outside the USA every year. How many of those 3 million expats a year do you think are poor... or even middle class. After all, the poor can't afford to leave all of our government programs. Reason tells us that the largest part of that 3 million are at least fairly well off.
Actually, the number is much higher. The 3 million number is what Zogby cited in their 2008 press release. But in researching my new book, "The Rich Don't Pay Tax! …Or Do They?", I traveled to Panama to talk to the president of New Global Initiatives, who pays for that study every year. He informed me that the number has grown much higher in the last few years. In 2011, that number reached 4.5 million.
That's an amount equal to more than 3% of US taxpayers.
Then consider that the top 1% of taxpayers pay well over a third of all personal income tax, even after all deductions, exclusions and even cheating. Furthermore, their companies pay a huge share of the corporate income tax. When those who pay the lion's share of the taxes leave, it means that the government will turn to those of us who remain, to make up the difference. If just the top 1% were to leave, it would mean more than a 50% tax increase for the rest of us.
So what does BHO do? He does his best to drive off even more of the job creators and taxpayers. But then, the one thing that BHO has never been accused of, is being the brightest bulb on the string.

The Tea Party National, claims that they are all fed up with BHO, that he must go, put out, impeached, tarred and feathered and “voted out. Yet the TPN has not nor is NOT doing anything to get rid of this Trader in our W/H!!!

By the time the EPA, OSHA,the NLRB and the IRS get through with their regulations, the climate for business becomes very negative.. Is it any wonder why American manufacturing has gone overseas? This should be no surprise as it is a part of a bigger plan to bring this country down and institute a Soviet style economic system.

Then the government starting getting their fingers in the pie and the business's starting going out of the country. Now OB is sending our money to other country's to help them start small business. I wish we could stop him from sending the money when we cant even have business here.
