Conservatives have a lot of disparaging names for the media. We call them the drive by media, the lame stream media and even the “main stream media,” which is not a compliment.
If we have any doubt that the mainstream media is the lap dog media, at least where Obama is concerned, all doubt has been erased.
What has happened?
Obama’s 13-year-old daughter went to Mexico for spring break. The story began popping up on the media. It centered around Malia, her 12 friends and the 25 Secret Service Agents that went to Mexico to protect her.
Almost immediately, the stories began mysteriously disappearing from the web. The Blaze put up a story, not only about Malia Obama going to Mexico but the mysterious disappearing stories about this.
Now, the Blaze may have partially solved the mystery but it does nothing more than proves the media is in the tank for Obama.
From The Blaze:
The White House has admitted to telling news agencies to pull stories on Malia Obama visiting Mexico for spring break, Politico reports.
Kristina Schake, Communications Director to the First Lady, emailed Dylan Byers:
From the beginning of the administration, the White House has asked news outlets not to report on or photograph the Obama children when they are not with their parents and there is no vital news interest. We have reminded outlets of this request in order to protect the privacy and security of these girls.
The Blaze first noticed the disappearing stories Monday afternoon, when accounts of Malia and 12 friends visiting Oaxaca with 25 Secret Service agents mysteriously began turning into broken links.
However, in admitting to “reminding outlets” about not reporting on the Obama children when there is “no vital news interest,” the White House has also tacitly admitted that Malia is (or now maybe was) in Mexico for spring break. Additional evidence has surfaced confirming that. One site has published a photo of the Obamas going to church on Sunday. It notes that Malia is absent, and says that’s due to the Mexico trip.
Gee, the Obama regime is now telling news outlets what is and is not news. There is a vital news interest here. It is the fact Obama has no problem sending his daughter on vacation to Mexico at a huge cost to the taxpayers while we are in the middle of the Great Obama Depression.
How much has Malia’s excellent spring break adventure cost the taxpayers?
Given the secrecy of the Obama regime, we will never know.
The real issue is not the “privacy” or even the “security” of the children. Obama strolls them out as props for his political agenda all of the time. The real issue here is many Americans are losing jobs and homes, thanks to the policies of the Obama, Pelosi, Reid axis of fiscal evil. Many more Americans cannot afford vacations, yet the Obama family travels on the taxpayer dime, rubbing it in our faces.
Every one of these news outlets that pulled that story should now run a story demanding to know what the cost to the government was so this child could go on a fun spring break.
There are a lot of families in America who would love to send their kids on spring break, but thanks to Obama couldn’t do so.
Anyone want to bet they would be really offended by this?
Anyone want to bet whether the lapdog media is going to ask any of these questions?
My bet is no.

Anyone that believes anything on the networks or in the newspapers is an idiot. If the lamestream media printed a story saying the sky is blue I'd go check.
