Mitt Romney should not start measuring the drapes for the Oval Office just yet, but he should draw some comfort from the fact that Obama’s campaign kick off was underwhelming to say the least.

Barack Obama launched his campaign in unspectacular fashion today at Ohio State University, the largest college in the crucial swing state. A photo posted to twitter by Mitt Romney's campaign spokesman Ryan Williams reveals sparse attendance. The above image, according to Williams, was taken during the President's first official campaign speech.
During the speech, Obama ripped into the presumptive GOP nominee and discussed nation building at home, but the most newsworthy item of the day was not the talking points Obama delivered: it was the crowd... or lack thereof. According to ABC News, the Obama campaign had expected an "overflow" of people. Instead, the arena looked half-empty. The Columbus Dispatch reports that Obama organizers even had people move from the seats to the floor of the gym in order to project a larger crowd on television.
According to the Toledo Blade, the venue for Obama's rally seats 20,000 but "there were a lot of empty seats." Comparatively, Obama drew a crowd of 35,000 at Ohio State when he campaigned for former Governor Ted Strickland in 2010.
Had this been a conservative event or a Tea Party event, the media would have been all over the empty room.
This does not bode well for Obama. His team organized a very bad event. The mainstream media may not have spent a lot of time on it but Obama’s half empty room is all over the conservative blogosphere.
There is a rule for political events. You prefer small, just not too small. In other words, you want standing room only. You do not want a venue that is half empty. Regardless of the crowd it makes you look like a failure.
On the other hand, Obama is a failure and this is just one more, albeit minor, failure in his record of failure.

I am sending this to everyone on my address list because I would think that no matter whether you are a Dem or Repub, this has to infuriate you! One time the IRS made a mistake on my son's income taxes and sent him a larger refund than he requested. He notified them and HE had to pay a penalty for THEIR mistake because they said, "Well, he had use of the money until it was returned." He NEVER spent any of it, because he knew immediately THEY had made the mistake! Yeah, it was only a couple of dollars, but it was THEIR mistake and they wanted THEIR money! A COUPLE OF DOLLARS! And yet, they are letting BILLIONS of OUR tax dollars go across the border to kids in Mexico whose families don't even live here??? I'll bet there are some kids in Appalachia that could sure use the food and shelter that money would buy! I've had it! This country is screwed... or to put it in a more Shakespearean way... America has been hoisted up by her own petar(d)... or maybe in this case I should use the Spanish word "petardo"! I hope to see the other segments in this investigation posted. Please post the links if you can. In closing, I would just like to say "GRRR!!!" as I pull my hair out!

But, could be post up on the front webpage on this site, the rallies easily seen the dates and where they will be held so we can join them? I think the time is now to get out and show the world Yes, the Tea Party is alive and well! There is a lot of reports questioning if we are, so I think if we could get more direct information on our rallies would be helpfull.
Karen, I searched for a schedule and found something very interesting - nothing! The WH schedule http://www.whitehouse.gov/schedule/president/2012-W19 is full in retrospect but no future events are shown. (!) Pretty much the same at eventful.com. I guess he keeps it inside his teleprompter so only he can see it. Understandable, tho - when folks are mad at me I lay low, too! :)

Give Romney a conservative house and Senate then demand that obumer and all of his friends and apointees be arrested and tried for Treason.
