I totally agree with the article.  We lost the last gubernatorial race here in Colorado because of the acrimony between two conservative candidates, one running as an Republican and one an Independent, that allowed the Liberal candidate to run a positive race and look more appealing.

With that, we also lost the opportunity to make headway with many anti illegal immigration and other conservative measures that were out voted.

It’s one thing to put forth a candidate for the Primary, but when a conservative candidate is selected, we must all come together.  United we stand!

The best way the Tea Party movement can ensure that the Republican Party stick to the values that conservatives demand is to support in every way possible, primary opponents in every state, to challenge RINO incumbents in House and Senate races. We really can't afford to wait. We need to find, finance and support the best and brightest conservatives, now! No more Sharron Angles, or that broad in Delaware. We need winners.

I read your article after watching Sarah Palin's appearance on Sean Hannity's show Friday night and was struck by the similarities in your messages.  Here's my post about it which includes your article as well.

I think we've (Tea party movement) got 'em where we want 'em.  We hold the cards, and the GOP RINOs know it.  Karl Rover, Krauthammer et al hate it.  And they'll do as much to destroy Palin as the left will.  They are desperate and determined to get their RINO puppet candidate nominated.  We are just as determined to not let that happen again.

Please do not fall for the eliteist BS. In 1979 Reagan was given  no chance to become President as he was too conservative and too old. If you think the elitist hate Palin, you should go back and read how they villified Reagan. We should back the best Republican in the primaries and not be tempted to vote for a third party candidate. The most dangerous time for the country will be after Obama runs for re-election, whether it is 2 months or 4 years. Remember the damage done by the lame duck sessions of 1980 and in 2010.

Is it Time for a 3rd Party in America?  I know we should nominate a "Tea Party" Candidate and run the person as a Republican!  The "Rhinos" in Washington DC in either the Republlican Party and for sure in the Democratic Party just don't get the message----We The People are Sick and Tired of Corrupt Politicians that are in Washington Dc for Monetary Gain and not to do "THE PEOPLE'S BUSINESS"!  Glen Beck organizied the last 8-12 project and Freedom Loving Americans Showed Up.  My only question is who will put together the "People's Rally" on July 4th, the Birthday of America and Our Freedoms?  Maybe this time they will listen.  We can not have this Rally "Stolen" by individuals who seek to Sabotage and make it Violent-- A Glen Beck and Martin Luther King Type Rally and bring the Family and Children!!  Invite President Obama there to "Listen" to the People's Concerns and not to Speak!  I'm in!  How about you?

I've been arguing with Dick Morris about Sarah vs. Romney.  Of course, Dicky wants the Big Gov't RINO Good Ol' Boy Next In Line w/Seniority (tenure) Lotta Dolla "progressive" candidate.

 

And I just want a real person who is not afraid to speak the truth no matter how hard it might be to hear.

 

The interesting point to be made here is: even many of the FOX news people, and ALL of the so-called Conservative pundits say the same thing---that poor little Sarah is really cute and well-loved and so much fun and attracts such large crowds and has SOOOOOooo many followers and simply cannot win against a REAL candidate.  On the other side (the commies), they all say the same thing---that stupid airline-stew fluff-head that doesn't even know what magazines she reads (their candidate thinks there are 57 states in the US) sucks all the oxygen out of the political space and could NEVER gather enough votes to win.

 

Does that sound like a conspiracy?  Something like price-fixing?  The hatred and the fear are so overwhelming!  And all of their combined fervor to prevent her candidacy makes you wonder, doesn't it?  Methinks they know something that I'm pretty sure that I know---SHE CAN WIN unless we listen to them.  If she wins, then they will, indeed, have something to fear.

  Of course you heard Ms. Palin's Paul Revere and his lantern remarks in Massachusetts this past weekend.  What is with her and Michelle Bachmann and their knowledge (or lack there of) of basic American History. Give me a break.  Talk about giving the main stream media ammunition for political ads.  Don't get me wrong I'd rather have Palin instead of Romney IF she had a reasonable chance of winning, but that's a big IF..
