Permalink Reply by Harry Eisenberg on June 15, 2011 at 3:13pm There is a big Tea Party gathering being planned in Kansas City Sept. 28-Oct. 2. Candidates are welcome to come speak and there will be a straw poll. The hope is that whoever wins the poll will be the person who is supported by the majority of Tea Party folks. It could blow up or it could be a tremendous success if we all take a big dose of humility and collectively back the person that the majority has picked to represent us.

Permalink Reply by Christine Rivoir on June 5, 2011 at 9:25am We all MUST rally behind the nominee, no matter who that ends up being, or this man will be the president for eternity, as there will never be another election if he continues his takeover of our country. We need to play their game, donating as much as possible towards the nominee, making calls to get out the vote, writing emails to lists, just like their camp does. I get emails from the WH (know your enemy), and every single one of them asks for a measly $5 donation to his campaign. I'm sure a lot of people go ahead and donate, as that is not very much money, even in this horrible economy. WE MUST UNITE TO RID OUR COUNTRY OF THIS MONSTER!!

I so agree with you. We very much indeed need to get rid of him forever. He has lied and lied about who he is and what he stands for. He needs to be ousted. To bad we have to wait so long to do it.

Permalink Reply by Harry f. Hagan on June 4, 2011 at 9:38am Yes, we must be firm in whom we accept as nominee. The elites will absolutely try to railroad us.
That means we may may well have 4 more years of Obama. BUT, even if the GOP is victorious in
giving us another Juan McCain, we must definitely turn out in huge numbers to take over the Senate.
If we have both houses, Obama can't do much.
The worst aspect would be in possibly losing the Supreme Court. The fate of the Nation and our freedoms hang
precariously by a single, weak, thread even now.

Permalink Reply by RICHARD LIND on June 4, 2011 at 11:16am YES, AGREED. Fear is not a common trait among the tea party members that i know. I am not afraid to suffer, i am not afraid to lose, We will survive, and keep pushing for what we believe in. EVENTUALLY WE figure out a way to put things right, hopefully before a collapse of this countries flawed system. But anyway, Tea partiers are strong, hearty people and will even be able to survive after a government collapse, which is where the current administration, and establishment is heading. Recognizing that prior to a governmental collapse they will keep trying to steal Everything they can from the middle class...we will continue to pressure them in the right direction and not let anyone off easy for the mistakes that are being made now.
Agree, or disagree, I voted for 3rd party candidates whenever i felt the right person was running. Mitt will not get my vote, ONLY a candidate who truley supports MOST if not all of the values of the Tea Party Movement will get my vote. This is my conviction, and I AM NOT AFRAID. For now..join the republican party, and vote in primary's for Tea Party supportive candidates and volunteer, and send emails, and money... Keep up the Good Work!
I still like Ron Paul.
