The June economic numbers are out. The drive-by media is doing its best to spin the numbers as anything but a disaster for Obama.
What is the truth behind the numbers and what does it mean for the future?
The truth behind the numbers is this is nothing less than a disaster for the Obama Regime. His economic team might as well be known as the failure factory because the only thing the Obama Regime is creating for America is failure.
Last month, only 80,000 jobs were created. If you believe that number, I have some oceanfront property in Arizona to sell you. The Obama Regime has developed a habit. They will announce the jobs numbers. Then, a week or two later, on a Friday as the news slides into the weekend black hole for news they will quietly announce the revised numbers which are never as good as the original numbers.
Even with the Obama propaganda numbers, 80,000 jobs were allegedly created in June. Every job that was created in June was created in spite of the Obama Regime, not because of them.
The media is noting that the unemployment rate has remained steady at 8.2%. Unfortunately the driveby media will not report the true number. The Department of Labor releases something that is called the U-6 number. That is the total number of unemployed in the United States. It is not the number that is cooked by the Obama Regime. It is not the number that the media reports. It is not the number that takes out the underemployed and those who have given up working.
The real unemployment for June 2012 was not 8.2%. It was 14.9%. Those are numbers that rival the first Great Depression. This number is the unvarnished truth of the Great Obama Depression.
Presumptive GOP nominee Mitt Romney gave a typically tepid response. “It doesn’t have to be this way.”
My God! Would someone please taze him, Bro!
America is watching Obama drive the economy like Charlie Sheen on a bender and Mitt simply says, “It doesn’t have to be that way?” What is it about these Massachusetts politicians? Are they all brain dead?
Republicans can destroy the Party of Treason this fall. There is one simple way to do this. There is one simple message that will create a Republican tsunami.
4.6%
This was the unemployment rate on the day the Democrats took over Congress in 2007.
The last time Republicans controlled government we had full employment.
Here is another message the GOP should be sending out.
90%.
This one should go to every college and university.
In 2007, when the Republicans last controlled the White House, the House and the Senate, 90% of college graduates had jobs on graduation. Today that number is 50%.
Where the hell is the GOP today? Where is Mitt Romney?
They should be out beating the hell out of Obama and the Party of Treason on this. Instead we have Romney in a Prozac induced stupor, lamely insisting, “It doesn’t have to be this way.” That is as bad as John Kerry saying, “We can do better.” Romney will be about as effective.
Once again, Mitt Romney is showing up for debate club while Obama is showing up for fight club.
Mitt and the GOP need to learn how to throw a punch.

Debrajoe,
I see your point. But on the other hand, Judson has staff and sources of information I don't have access to. I'm going to trust that he's basing his position on good information.
Apprehensive? Yeah, a little, but these are apprehensive times so what else can I do? I gotta trust somebody!
Here's an example of my point: New Friction Grows over Romney and Conservatives over Obamacare It's a bit of info I didn't have before, it says we're not the only ones sensing inadequacy in a Romney presidency.
Maybe pushing forward on another front is a better idea. I think it's entirely possible there will be several audibles called before November. One has to respond effectively to the changing conditions on the ground as they become apparent.

Permalink Reply by Nancy on July 6, 2012 at 11:30am Here's an opinion piece from the Daily Caller that (IMO) supports your point:
House leadership slow to embrace spending cuts
http://dailycaller.com/2012/07/03/house-leadership-slow-to-embrace-...
Weeks before their historic victories in the November 2010 elections, congressional Republicans released the “Pledge to America,” a set of principles for governing should the American people give them control of the House. Prominent in the agenda was a promise to “roll back spending to pre-stimulus, pre-bailout levels” and review “every current government program to eliminate wasteful and duplicative programs.” Judging by their recent votes, however, one can’t help but wonder if House leadership has abandoned their pledge for fiscal restraint. . .
When a person doesn't believe in a cause and tries to act for the benefit of others that he really is, he cannot be passionate about it. That is Romney's main problem.
Obama believes in Marxism and Romney doesn't believe in conservatism.
Permalink Reply by Debrajoe Smith-Beatty on July 6, 2012 at 11:25am People are miss-reading Romney. Mitt Romney is a very dignified man and acts accordingly. He is not the yelling, drugged up Obama that America has become used to. Ronald Reagan used to be dignified.
Permalink Reply by Thomas Angle on July 6, 2012 at 11:31am Yes and Reagan went right at the democrats. Romney is not.
Please do not compare a liberal from the northeast to Reagan. It is an insult to President Reagan..
Permalink Reply by Donald Vastlik on July 6, 2012 at 11:15am It takes 250,000 to break even when considering population growth. What we have with Obama is failure rate.
Permalink Reply by Larry Wiliams on July 6, 2012 at 11:26am There is a difference between those who have "skin" in the game and those who are really just trying to move up the social ladder to make a name for themselves. You see Judson you have some "skin" in the game therefore you have that "fire" in your belly and given a chance you would verbally destroy O-zero. But Mitt is only seeking this position to add to his list of accomplishments and trophies. He has no "fire" in his belly, he has no "skin" in the game. So he really doesn't know what to say, other than it doesn't have to be this way. I don't know how all this will work out. But I think in reality it is going to be up to O-zero to simply get himself unelected not for Mitt Romney to get himself elected. O-zero just has to keep screwing up and then he'll get un-elected and they will then have to take Mittens instead.
Permalink Reply by Thomas Angle on July 6, 2012 at 11:56am I disagree, Obama has been doing a good job at fundamentally changing this country like he said he would. Our mistake is we thing he does not know what he is doing.
I heard somebody say that O and his minions are putting a structure in place. When the time is right all they'll have to do is throw the switch and 'hello Amerika.' Good ol' USSA.
Yeah, the left knows what it's doing, for sure!
