All good things come to an end.  We are now seeing the end of something.  No, it is not 2011, even though the year only has two more days left.

What are we seeing the end of?

We are seeing the end of Michele Bachmann’s hopes for the White House.

We all knew Bachmann’s campaign was on life support, praying desperately for a Hail Mary in Iowa that would keep her campaign alive.

Instead, in the last 48 hours, her campaign has flat lined in a very public manner.

Citizens working for America, a Super Pac that was going to support Bachmann suddenly switched and decided it was going to support Romney.   Then, if that was not bad enough, yesterday Bachmann’s Iowa co-chair Kent Sorenson appeared at a Bachmann rally in the afternoon, then three hours later was at an event endorsing Ron Paul.

Sorenson’s actions were those of the lowest form of politician.   The Bachmann campaign claimed Sorenson told them that the Paul campaign had paid him a lot of money to defect.  While that sounds implausible, nothing with the Ron Paul campaign would surprise me.  A more likely scenario is that Sorenson realizes Bachmann is finished.  He has almost certainly seen internal polling, which probably has told him the only thing left for the Bachmann campaign to do is to schedule the press conference where she drops out.

One thing that is certain is that Ron Paul’s organization will not be dismantled after this election and will certainly go to Rand Paul at some point.  Sorenson will seek reelection in Iowa and Bachmann’s organization will not be there to help him.  Paul’s organization would be.

As previously said, he is the lowest form of politician, selling his political soul for someone who can help his reelection.  We can only hope that the people of Iowa will remember this and kick him to the curb any time his name shows up on a ballot.

For Michele Bachmann, it is the end of the road.

There is one thing she could do.

She can ride this all the way to the bitter end on Tuesday and schedule her press conference for Wednesday or she can act now.

Michele Bachmann needs to find the best conservative she agrees with, endorse them no later than this weekend and ask her supporters to vote for that candidate instead.

I hope she would support Newt Gingrich, as I believe he is the best conservative in the race.  There is still Rick Perry and Rick Santorum.

We conservatives must stop Mitt Romney and Ron Paul.  Period.

While the chances of Ron Paul actually winning the nomination remain slim, we must remember one of the great truisms of life.  It is not the chances of an event occurring, it is the consequences of the occurrence.

If either Ron Paul or Mitt Romney wins the nomination, the game is over.  Obama will have a second term.   A second Obama terms will mean national bankruptcy.  It will mean that in 2016, America will look like Greece.  It means Obama will get at least one more Supreme Court pick and if he gets to replace one of the conservative members of the court, our constitution will be shredded.

Michele, your dreams of the Presidency are over.  You can still do one thing to help the Tea Party and the conservative movement.   Endorse a conservative before the caucuses on Tuesday and help us defeat Ron Paul and Mitt Romney.

Partisan politics does what's best for the general interests and agenda of "The Party" they serve and not for The People for whom they were elected to serve. Any wonder why they don't want a True American Patriot to represent them? Gee...that would mean "Their Party" would have to give up all the personal perks and abuse of power (in many cases) that they now enjoy at the expense of the taxpayers. All the while, both parties are selling out America's future to the control of foreign interests. If the Tea Party Movement does not gain steam and make a significant difference in the 2012 elections we will be joining the rest of the nations who are crumbling at a rapid pace because of internal strife. The Tea Party Movement is America's last and only hope to install true leaders who are able to unite our nation, turn things around, and secure a safe and stronger economic future for the next generations of American citizens.

I think you will see that Bachmann will NOT step down.  Why are you spreading this?

She needs to for the sake of the party.

UHHH. they are pretty much running out in front of her..!!

Take a look at the Poll numbers - National, Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina, & Florida.

http://www.usatoday.com/news/politics/presidential-poll-tracker

Unfortunately, Bachmann is 4th, 5th, or 6th place.

Ain't no joke...............Everybody but Huntsman is out in front............

I can make Obama look centrist if I wanted to.Obama is slick. The general election debate will turn millions of "independent" voters. That is why Santorum and Bachman poll only 9-10%.Social issues are mute. Many conservatives think Newt is conservative enough. Some say Romney is a liberal. So now we need the "values" voter?Mitt/Newt is what we got.In my opinion Gingrich is more straight down the idological conservative spectrum.Mitt swings left. We need to grind it out as uncomfortable as may be.

I support Newt and have been before Judson said anything...where is my Pay day? I have been talking to people about why to support him for a long time. Are you getting paid by your choice? You must be, Judson is not allowed to have an Opinion on HIS OWN SITE...according to you.

My comment goes to Edward. The comment he made at the top of the page, not the one right above this one.

I guess you have examined each ones voting record and their views on each issue right? If you don't see more than a little difference between the two, then you don't see very well.

BTW, it is Mitt that is definitely Not a conservative.

Research?  Where did yours come from?  If the Lord forgives Newt, then why can't you?  The FACTS speak for themselves, and clearly show that Newt IS a conservative and clearly our best chance to turn this Great Country around.

Judson:

What has happened to the American's reasoning and thought process?

I am not a rocket scientist, but I can manage to use common sense within the political arena.

Bachmann's supporters fall under the umbrella of "You can't handle the truth!!", (Jack Nickolson). She can't Win, folks!!

Get yourself another GOP candidate and support them!!

I am a devoted Newt supporter, but if he loses, I will support the GOP winner,(Except Ron Paul).

I held my nose last election and Voted McCain, he would have been somewhat better than Obama.

Deciding between the best of two bad deals is my way of thinking; So I will vote for Romney if I have to.

We make these types of decisions everyday in other arenas of life, why not the political arena

Newt and Mitt would do just fine with the proper checks and balances. What can they do so obscene that congress could not stop them?Obama is unchecked and a clear and present danger to the USA.We need to chant together:Anyone but Obama,Anyone but Obama,Anyone but Obama......(ABO).I agree Paul is dangerous when it comes to national security and lazy libertarian views.
