All good things come to an end.  We are now seeing the end of something.  No, it is not 2011, even though the year only has two more days left.

What are we seeing the end of?

We are seeing the end of Michele Bachmann’s hopes for the White House.

We all knew Bachmann’s campaign was on life support, praying desperately for a Hail Mary in Iowa that would keep her campaign alive.

Instead, in the last 48 hours, her campaign has flat lined in a very public manner.

Citizens working for America, a Super Pac that was going to support Bachmann suddenly switched and decided it was going to support Romney.   Then, if that was not bad enough, yesterday Bachmann’s Iowa co-chair Kent Sorenson appeared at a Bachmann rally in the afternoon, then three hours later was at an event endorsing Ron Paul.

Sorenson’s actions were those of the lowest form of politician.   The Bachmann campaign claimed Sorenson told them that the Paul campaign had paid him a lot of money to defect.  While that sounds implausible, nothing with the Ron Paul campaign would surprise me.  A more likely scenario is that Sorenson realizes Bachmann is finished.  He has almost certainly seen internal polling, which probably has told him the only thing left for the Bachmann campaign to do is to schedule the press conference where she drops out.

One thing that is certain is that Ron Paul’s organization will not be dismantled after this election and will certainly go to Rand Paul at some point.  Sorenson will seek reelection in Iowa and Bachmann’s organization will not be there to help him.  Paul’s organization would be.

As previously said, he is the lowest form of politician, selling his political soul for someone who can help his reelection.  We can only hope that the people of Iowa will remember this and kick him to the curb any time his name shows up on a ballot.

For Michele Bachmann, it is the end of the road.

There is one thing she could do.

She can ride this all the way to the bitter end on Tuesday and schedule her press conference for Wednesday or she can act now.

Michele Bachmann needs to find the best conservative she agrees with, endorse them no later than this weekend and ask her supporters to vote for that candidate instead.

I hope she would support Newt Gingrich, as I believe he is the best conservative in the race.  There is still Rick Perry and Rick Santorum.

We conservatives must stop Mitt Romney and Ron Paul.  Period.

While the chances of Ron Paul actually winning the nomination remain slim, we must remember one of the great truisms of life.  It is not the chances of an event occurring, it is the consequences of the occurrence.

If either Ron Paul or Mitt Romney wins the nomination, the game is over.  Obama will have a second term.   A second Obama terms will mean national bankruptcy.  It will mean that in 2016, America will look like Greece.  It means Obama will get at least one more Supreme Court pick and if he gets to replace one of the conservative members of the court, our constitution will be shredded.

Michele, your dreams of the Presidency are over.  You can still do one thing to help the Tea Party and the conservative movement.   Endorse a conservative before the caucuses on Tuesday and help us defeat Ron Paul and Mitt Romney.

Wow!  Today, this site reflects the same kind of name-calling, juvenile banter one finds on MSNBC!  I wonder if Washington, Jefferson and Franklin ever stooped so low? Come on, People!  Get off the silly-sauce, turn the switch on and THINK!  Guess who is relishing this obvious degradation of rationale?  The Obamacrats!  ANY of the Republican candidates will be an improvement over the Marxist-in-office; but We, The People cannot "go into the tank" now!  The election is in November and there is a HUGE amount of work to be done in getting as many conservatives into Congress as we can.  If we can vote as a bloc for the Republican nominees, sweeping aside as many Democrats as possible, we will have completed the first step.  The next step will be to do the same in each ensuing election, eventually replacing all RINOs and Democrats.  Be patient and resolute.

Well said; we will never, as a people, agree on every point. Still we must and I believe do have common goals. Let US work together on them.

What was it that fellow said a few years back .............  "We must all hang together, or surly we will hang separately."

In Liberty, David

United we stand, divided we fall.

Judson, agreed. What that creep and total jerk Sorenson did was the lowest of the low. The way he did it, and the timing of it, makes me believe that Sorenson was really working for Paul all along, and was just a mole/spy in the Bachmann camp. Disgusting. We already know the Paul camp will use Alinsky tactics. Look at what they tried in all the major Texas newspapers months ago, with full pages ads seeking someone who slept with Rick Perry and was willing to spill the beans. The lowest of the low; so degraded.

That said, I agree that Bachmann should drop out and endorse another great conservative (my choice: Rick Santorum!), but I don't think she will do that. She will hang on til the bitter end, perhaps hoping in vain for a VP slot. Unfortunately, 2012 will not be the year that the Republican nominee will go for another red-meat conservative female as VP. Is it fair? No. But life is not fair, and this is not her time. Michele is great lady, and, like Sarah, still young. She has a great future ahead of her. I think she should endorse Santorum and go home to Minnesota and be a superlative conservative voice for Minnesota and for the people of her congressional district, whom she dearly loves. We desperately need her in the House. She would make a top-notch Speaker! Let's replace Boehner with Bachmann! Who is with me?

She would make a top-notch Speaker! Let's replace Boehner with Bachmann! Who is with me?

I couldn't agree more. Boehner caould take his white flag and hit the road. Michelle would never cave like he does. And Kathy I also agree with you Perry is the best man for the job.

NOW you are talking! That would kick some serious BUTT!! That's awesome! She would NOT be bought out by that loser called Obama, she would stand her ground and the liberals would never be able to spend Again! Man that would KILL the liberals, they would have NO IDEA what to do! Good call there. Now if we could just get the rest behind us on this and STOP all this bickering...we could have some thing here.

I can agree totally with Michele as Speaker and yes, she would be a darned good one.

I really like Rick Perry as well and think that he is an honest man. However, his debate skills worry me considering who he would be going up against. Perhaps having him as VP, so he could work behind the scenes to fix immigration..?? He could certainly handle Biden in a debate.........

I think she is qualified and would be a great speaker. I think she would be a great president but the time is not right. Unfortunately her campaign is done.

I STRONGLY agree:  Michele Bachmann needs to withdraw from the race and endorse a conservative candidate.  If Bachmann is truly concerned about our country, she will withdraw from the race as soon as possible.   True, Bachmann is a true conservative, and I like her, but the situation is at a point now that it is detrimental to the GOP race for her to continue to campaign.  Everything going on in her campaign is a distraction that we do not need.  The Democrats are loving this.  I would implore  Bachmann to withdraw immediately and back another candidate.

I am personally hoping Rick Perry will rise in the polls----Perry is my choice and I hope he will be the elected GOP presidential candidate.   But, I will back the elected candidate, whoever that may be, except Ron Paul----Ron Paul is no better than Obama.

Kathy I am right with you. I am sure that she will do what she needs to do. She dose love the USA and she has Pride. So I am sure that she will do the right thing. It is hard on her right now, my heart goes out to her and her Family, but she understands what needs to be done. I wish it was ron Paul that was out...NOT her. I was reading about that Commie from hugo he is blaming the USA for giving all of his top people cancer. LMBO..what a wack-o, but I couldn't help but think that he sounds almost as rediculas as Ron Paul...that's some thing that Ron Paul would say! Here is the Artical...

and the liberals like this guy lol. ;)

You're right Kathy.  We need to vote for whoever the nominee is; even if it's Ron Paul.  RP is a weasel but he is better than obama.  At least he does not support socialism and the muslims.

Newt Gingrich is the last one of the candidates I would vote for even as dog catcher!!
