All good things come to an end.  We are now seeing the end of something.  No, it is not 2011, even though the year only has two more days left.

What are we seeing the end of?

We are seeing the end of Michele Bachmann’s hopes for the White House.

We all knew Bachmann’s campaign was on life support, praying desperately for a Hail Mary in Iowa that would keep her campaign alive.

Instead, in the last 48 hours, her campaign has flat lined in a very public manner.

Citizens working for America, a Super Pac that was going to support Bachmann suddenly switched and decided it was going to support Romney.   Then, if that was not bad enough, yesterday Bachmann’s Iowa co-chair Kent Sorenson appeared at a Bachmann rally in the afternoon, then three hours later was at an event endorsing Ron Paul.

Sorenson’s actions were those of the lowest form of politician.   The Bachmann campaign claimed Sorenson told them that the Paul campaign had paid him a lot of money to defect.  While that sounds implausible, nothing with the Ron Paul campaign would surprise me.  A more likely scenario is that Sorenson realizes Bachmann is finished.  He has almost certainly seen internal polling, which probably has told him the only thing left for the Bachmann campaign to do is to schedule the press conference where she drops out.

One thing that is certain is that Ron Paul’s organization will not be dismantled after this election and will certainly go to Rand Paul at some point.  Sorenson will seek reelection in Iowa and Bachmann’s organization will not be there to help him.  Paul’s organization would be.

As previously said, he is the lowest form of politician, selling his political soul for someone who can help his reelection.  We can only hope that the people of Iowa will remember this and kick him to the curb any time his name shows up on a ballot.

For Michele Bachmann, it is the end of the road.

There is one thing she could do.

She can ride this all the way to the bitter end on Tuesday and schedule her press conference for Wednesday or she can act now.

Michele Bachmann needs to find the best conservative she agrees with, endorse them no later than this weekend and ask her supporters to vote for that candidate instead.

I hope she would support Newt Gingrich, as I believe he is the best conservative in the race.  There is still Rick Perry and Rick Santorum.

We conservatives must stop Mitt Romney and Ron Paul.  Period.

While the chances of Ron Paul actually winning the nomination remain slim, we must remember one of the great truisms of life.  It is not the chances of an event occurring, it is the consequences of the occurrence.

If either Ron Paul or Mitt Romney wins the nomination, the game is over.  Obama will have a second term.   A second Obama terms will mean national bankruptcy.  It will mean that in 2016, America will look like Greece.  It means Obama will get at least one more Supreme Court pick and if he gets to replace one of the conservative members of the court, our constitution will be shredded.

Michele, your dreams of the Presidency are over.  You can still do one thing to help the Tea Party and the conservative movement.   Endorse a conservative before the caucuses on Tuesday and help us defeat Ron Paul and Mitt Romney.

Thank you Carol. You have stayed up on the news. Christy hasn't. It is soooo critical to stay up to date.

Ronisue

Here's the latest from Iowa on Newsmax.

See how stupid it's getting, jsps999!  The polls change every minute. Who can keep up with this debacle?

Christy:

Newt wants OBAMANATION TO END....SO DO I.......period !

Ron

You make no sense at all in your statement.

First, everyone is aware that Bachmann is a true conservative; but,-- but, she is not electable. Why? I cannot answer. Why try riding a crippled horse, ever though it might be a top breed of horse.

Second, you have been listening to the media particularly FOX. Newt is a conservative, and he can defeat Obama, Period!

Wise up!!

Bachmann IS electable..  So there.

Let's elect her, all you conservatives out there.  No Romneys, No Newts.

Bachmann or Santorium either one ....we know where they stand.

Do you like where the others choose to stand and then stand somewhere else and then stand somewhere else again when the shadows hit them.

We have had it with people on our side with no spine.

Let's elect a woman for once!    Have any trouble with that!!!! I have never heard Bachmann play the gender card, though I suspect that is the eagerness to dismiss her as our next President.  Think about it - who stands for their values - our American values - Bachmann or/and Santorium or the others?

Margaret,

I agree with your sentiments, but please do not engage these idiots one minute longer. You can tell from their course manners that an honorable, principled position is beyond their understanding. When you remind them of why we tea party activists got into this mess in the first place, they scream, "Anybody but Obama," repeatedly, with their hands over their ears. You continue supporting the most honorable candidates (Bachmann and Santorum) and rejecting that menu of globalists that the Republican Party keeps pushing in our faces. If we must pull the lever for Romney next year because he has captured the Republican nomination, then we'll cross that bridge and burn it (pardon the mixed metaphor).

Are we so myopic that we think  the TEA party are the only ones voting.A good portion of the electorate will NOT vote for Santorum or Bachman. It is reflective in this primary.Social issues are back burner. Also please put the gender card away.

Let's hear it for common sense..!!

No one has mentioned money.

If you ain't got it, you ain't agona get elected.

Money puts Romney ahead right now.

Newt could pull it off.

Perry could call in favors and get a good money funded campaign.

Everyone else is whistling dixie.

No one has said one word about impeaching obama tomorrow.  That stops the democrat clock dead still.

The crimes are out there why arn't we pounding the door down on all Repersentatives and Senators.

OOOORAAAHHHH!!!! Works for me, Billy.

You are correct. It is all about MONEY!Obama says he needs a billion. How much do we have?

Because that's beneath us! (sarcasm)
