Fall has begun in America. In some parts of the country the leaves are already starting to turn and the temperatures are starting to drop. College football is occupying our Saturdays and pro football our Sundays. And the new iPhone 5 is coming out.
While we are distracted with our own version of bread and circuses, are we seeing the end of freedom in America as we know it?
On Saturday morning, around midnight, the police came to the door of Nakoula Bassley Nakoula. The media was there to record and photograph this man being taken from his home. He is the man who is supposedly behind the movie that Islamists are using as a pretext for violence.
Nakoula is on what is called supervised release. He was convicted in 2010 of bank fraud and served some time in a federal prison before being released to five years of supervision.
Unfortunately Nakoula is only a pawn in a much larger game.
The Obama regime is doing its best to deflect criticism that its foreign policy has blown up and now we have the Middle East is in flames. Despite the fact that Islamists across the Middle East are saying, “We are all Bin Laden!” the White House continues to claim the film is what is what is provoking the Islamists.
So to support the false argument that it is the film not Obama’s failed policies that are causing the problems in the Middle East, the Obama Regime had local police go pick up Nakoula, in full view of cameras to “review” his probation.
When a Federal Probation Officer needs to review a probationer’s status, they do it during the week. They usually call them in, as the terms of supervised release require the probationer to report to the probation officer on demand or they probation officer goes to the probationer’s residence.
The government identified this man publicly and essentially frog marched him downtown. Why? It was because the Obama Regime found it convenient to scapegoat him for its failures.
Did any of us ever believe we would see such a thing in America?
As bad as this is, it is only getting worse.
The Obama Regime is ready to scrap the First Amendment to satisfy Islamists. World wide, Islamists are demanding that every nation criminalize speech that “Insults Islam.”
As Islamists were attacking our embassies and diplomats across the Middle East, the Obama Regime was releasing statements condemning not Islamic violence against America, but an American who exercised his First Amendment rights.
The images of Nakoula being led to a squad car, even though he has not been charged with a crime and did nothing other than becoming a convenient scapegoat for Obama, should be enough to end Obama’s Presidency.
Yet where is the media outrage?
There isn’t any. MSNBC has only a tiny story about Nakoula being questioned by the Feds. CNN has a massive lead story about the “reality of Evangelical Islamaphobia.”
Where is Hollywood on this? Instead of worrying they could be next, they are busy continuing their slobbering love affair with those who want to destroy freedom and replace it with tyranny.
This story is alive in the conservative media.
The events of this year and this election have shown us a number of things. It has shown us that the liberal media complex has become nothing more than a propaganda outlet for the Obama and the Party of Treason. It has also showed us the new conservative media is growing and will soon be the dominant media.
This year has also shown us there is a concerted attack on freedom of speech in America. Nakoula may be many things but we cannot allow him to be used as a test case to roll back free speech in America.
If Obama gets away with pressuring this filmmaker and using him as a convenient scapegoat, what does he do next? What happens to freedom in America if he gets a second term?

If Obama doesn't like you, he is coming after you. Look at the investigations into major GOP donors for example. Who is so squeaky clean that he can avoid all criminal and civil investigation? Even if you are careful enough to obey every single law and regulation, they can still try you in the court of public opinion and destroy your reputation and life.
What do we call unequal application of the law?

He is so narcissistic and thin-skinned and already refers to those of us who disagree with him as 'enemies'. If he is re-elected, we may all be rounded up and 'interred', After all, he has already by-passed Congress as he calls it to get the power to imprison American's without cause, due process and indefinitely and to kill Americans if they are judged (by him) to be a 'threat' to our 'sovereignty'. All of this talk of starting a third party after the elections . . . if things go badly in our view, we probably will not have the chance. And the Left with all of their fuzzy, feel-good ideas, would agree wholeheartedly that we 'radical', 'combatant', 'idiotic' right-wing nuts need to be eliminated for the 'greater good.

That he is being harassed over this really funny film shows how far the U.S. has sunken. Where is the leadership in proclaiming this mans right of free speech? Where is the ACLU? Where is the press or the networks, you know those who scream "1st Amendment, 1st Amendment" every time someone criticizes their illegitimate and remarkably truth-free content while propagandizing for leftist causes. The problem is that the political left and Islam have a common enemy, America. Our government is openly hostile to our founding documents, primarily the Constitution. Our government is populated with traitors and enemies and even after this November we will have many years of work to do to reclaim our country. In the mean time we must resist! The TEA Party is the Resistance to totalitarianism as embodied by the American Left and their ally, Islam.
Permalink Reply by hunter60 on I think that W had his hand in the disaster we are facing today. W grew the government at an alarming rate with the creation of DHS and its support mechanisms. W also helped infringe on everyone's freedoms with the passage and his signing of the "Patriot Act". Not to mention the expansion of surveillance activites on American soil such as the creation of the new intelligence centers at the state level and the NSAs new mega server farms. Unfortunately my job requires interaction with agencies who deal with DHS. I can tell you that they have their hands in everything including local law enforcement. The expansion of the police state is frightening.
Getting after the networks is a very good idea however, they sell a great deal of leftist oriented advertising and they sell ads to leftist oriented businesses. I wouldn't patronize those businesses anyway. Where I think they would be hurt the most is in challenging their authority to operate as news services and naming them exactly what they are, the lefts propaganda organs. Reducing their credibility and questioning the message seems to be a better avenue. The networks actually don't care about the dollars, they are so effective at disseminating leftist propaganda that their parent companies will keep funding them. They are, afterall, propagandizing against capitalism and freedom.
