The left likes to call it the “birther” issue.   The term birther is used as a derisive term by the left, much as truther is.   Of course the difference is truthers beliefs are based on a paranoid ideology, where as the birther issue is based on facts.

I prefer to call it the eligibility issue, not the birther issue.  Whether you agree or not, the people who are pushing the eligibility issue are on our side.  It is certainly counter-productive to deride them like liberals do.

Recently a whole stream of Republicans have come out, at the prompting of the drive by media, to reassure us that Obama is a citizen and oh, yes, he is a Christian too.

Last Sunday, at the prodding of David Gregory on Meet the Press, or as Rush likes to call it, Meet the depressed, Boehner said, the State of Hawaii had said he was born there, that was good enough for him.

Karl Rove, not a friend of the Tea Party, pushed the RINO line that Obama is a citizen and Sarah Palin, at a meeting in Long Island, a few days ago, also denounced the eligibility issue.   Palin ended her remarks on the subject by saying, “let’s stick with what really matters.”

This issue does matter.

There are three variations on the eligibility issue.  Two are based on undisputed facts.  The third is in dispute.

The most commonly reported of the eligibility challenges is the claim that Obama was actually born in Kenya, not Hawaii.   I believe, based on the available evidence, that it is more likely than not, Obama was actually born in Hawaii.   Obama has spent a lot of time and (other people’s) money, keeping his original birth certificate out of sight.

Why?

Jack Cashill is one of my favorite writers and he has a theory which I think makes sense, that Obama was in fact born in Hawaii, but there is something else on his birth certificate that would destroy the myth of Barack Obama.  (See his website, Cashill.com).   In the law, there is a presumption that if a party has exclusive access to a piece of evidence and will not release it, the evidence must be adverse to their position.

The second eligibility issue is the claim that because Barack Obama’s father was a Kenyan, a British subject at the time of Obama’s birth, he is not a natural born citizen.

The third is the argument that because Barack Obama was adopted as a child by an Indonesian and moved to Indonesia, he is not an American citizen.   Under the law at that time, if an American child was adopted by a citizen of another country and moved to that country, he lost his citizenship.   He could regain his citizenship by applying at an American Embassy when he was 18, but would then be treated as a naturalized citizen and thus ineligible to be President.

What is stunning about all of this is the mainstream Republican reaction to the eligibility issues.

The RINOs turn their noses up at the people who want the answers, which, incidentally is 60% of Republican voters.  They turn their noses up at the Tea Party movement.  Yet, they do not take a moment to consider why this is important.

If Barack Obama is proved to be ineligible to be President, everything he has done is wiped out.  Obamacare is gone.  The START treaty is gone.  The liberal lunatics Obama has appointed to the Federal Judiciary, including the two he has put on the Supreme Court are gone.

Much of the damage Obama has done to this country can be undone.  Unfortunately, the Country Club Republicans remain clueless. In their minds, the Democrats are simply the lower class versions of themselves.  They do not understand that if the party of treason has its way, America will be forever changed and ultimately destroyed.

The Courts have so far brushed aside all of the eligibility claims.  None have been addressed on the merits under the claim that Americans lack standing to challenge the issue.   Recently, the Supreme Court has given some indication it may consider one of the issues.  We can only hope.

What are the chances of success?  Who knows?

Why do football teams run the flea flicker play?   It does not work all of the time, but when it does, the results are spectacular.  Why should conservatives all hope this works out?  Because this wipes out almost everything the Obama regime has done.  We get a do over.

You would think, even the RINOs who want to denigrate the eligibility issue could figure this one out.

That was the conclusion at the time, but maybe they had more to do with the BCCI banking scandal and the BNL banking scandal with tie ins to Kissinger and GHWB.

The Inslaw aspect is interesting.  It shows how difficult justice is to come by when the DOJ is involved in the wrongdoing.  The Promise data base software was defaulted on by the DOJ, bankrupting the sellers.  Then the CIA put a back door into the data base.  Then they sold the Software to Canada, cutting the developers out of the loop.  We know what it is like when the DOJ breaks the law.  Who is going to prosecute?  Can we say special Prosecuter?

Good grief Holder is involved with Oklahoma City Bombing, the cover up of the murder of Kenneth Trentadue, Fast and Furious, and now he is down with the keeping Jared Loughner out of court in the assassination of a Federal Judge.  I don't even want to get started on the anomalies in the batman and Sikh shootings, but why would the administration stage these charades right before an election?

Even the mafia and drug cartels know not to kill a reporter or a judge.  What chutzpah this administration has in covering up their murders.

Looks like Holmes will likewise not face trial.  What is the story with the pink flip-flops and the blood leading back into the theater?  Why are there 2 AR-15s, one with a drum magazine and one with a standard magazine? Why were there two gas masks? A lone shooter is the company line.  Makes as much sense as government assisted suicides.

The exit door the shooter used in the Aurora batman shooting. Who belongs to those flip-flops?

Royce I thought something must be up when Brasscheck brings up Inslaw and that reporter's death now. Israel was a peddler of the Inslaw Program to many. Apparently that program was so advanced to contain multi faceted uses, and unknown to the countries using it, the U.S. could cull the data. I think

that was the chief reason the U.S. commandeered ownership of the program from private ownership.

It sounds like state sponsored cyber terrorism.

DHS and US Military Make Final Preparations Before Announcing Marti...

I have no idea if any of this is true.   I came across it on a patriotic site, but it originates at Infowars.   Read the readers’ comments as well as the articles.

I just wondered if any of you have heard anything about these stories - ?

Read more:   http://www.infowars.com/dhs-and-us-military-make-final-preparations...

I revisted the above site again (http://www.infowars.com/dhs-and-us-military-make-final-preparations...) and read an interesting comment by a person who cautioned that these stories might be made up so that we react too strongly.   It might be that we are being set up to react strongly, and that will allow them to justify declaring Martial Law.

It's a resonable thought.

Well his record definitely shows by spending, executive orders and legislation that we should take precautions. For example if the internet and those social programs are removed, as well as broadcast, and we have not made provision for alternate communication, I would say we have a problem. America within itself has always been submissive to the leadership in place, wether municipal, state and and federal government and I doubt we could react to a threat. Most people today are not expecting anything to happen from within and if you press them too hard you'll receive a negative reaction. However care should be taken to to discern a likely threat and then be talked out of it by another. You have to keep absorbing  the teachings of Marx and Sol Alinsky. Sowing doubt is a key practice of the CP.

That's a good point, Diogenes.

We have to look at the facts.  Our government led by Obama and Holder has engaged in behavior that is beyond anything imaginable.  The Congress acquiesces, not only to unimaginable overspending, and executive orders that clearly usurp the power of Congress, but goes no farther than to issue a contempt of Congress citation, in the open defiance of Congress' right to investigate the wanton distribution of weapons to the Mexican Drug Cartels.

From bad to worse, I digress to introduce Allen Dulles.  He was a founding member and one of the first leaders of the  Council on Foreign Relations.  He was one of the first directors of the CIA.  He remained at that post until 1961, when he was fired by President John Kennedy.  Two years later Allen Dulles was the effective leader of the Warren Commission, appointed by co-conspirator Lyndon Johnson in the investigation of the Kennedy assassination.  There was a clear picture of an exploding round impacting Kennedy in the front of the right side of his head.  There were at least four bullets fired.  The Warren Commission's conclusion that Oswald acted alone is obviously a cover up.

One last detail, Allen Dulles started the mind control MK Ultra program in the early 50s. It followed Operation Bluebird, Operation Paperclip, and Operation Artichoke.  Funding was covert and methods used were drug administration, such as LSD, electro-shock, and psycho-surgery, progressing to personality regression through sleep deprivation, isolation, and sensory deprivation, in conjunction with drugs.  The Bourne movies are the depiction of these methods.  The program was dismantled in 1963 after the removal of Allen Dulles from his position as director of the CIA, but in fact the program just went underground.

None of this would matter, except Wayne Madsen reports from a source inside the CIA, that the Jared Lougher murder of Federal Judge John Roll and attempted assassination of Gabby Giffords was an MK Ultra asset employed to do the job to prevent Fast and Furious from coming to light.  Roll, Giffords and Conway were about to go public with information that our government was supplying arms to the Mexican Cartels.

Que Eric Holder to once again emulate the role of Winston 'The Wolf' Wolfe, aka the cleaner in the movie Pulp Fiction.  With  the shooter, Jared Loughner, being kept in isolation and under the influence of psychotropic drug, Holder takes control over the jurisdictional fate of Loughner.  Quickly all Arizona federal judges are recused and the venue is transferred to San Diego.  After several years it becomes apparent that the Loughner trial will never happen.  Last week Loughner is cleared to plead guilty in a plea deal.  Mission accomplished.  The facts surrounding the preparation and implementation of Loughner will never be investigated in open court.

Despite the extraordinary methods to keep Fast and Furious from entering the public consciousness, two weeks after the Tucson shooting the harebrained Fast and Furious became known, due the murder of agent Bryan Terry with one of the weapons approved by Holder and Obama to go to the Sinaloa drug cartel.

Eric Holder needs to be questioned as a domestic terrorist for his roles in Fast and Furious, the Tucson Shooting, the Trentadue murder, and Oklahoma City bombing.  He is a criminal enterprise.

I never know what to make of Alex Jones/InfoWars (always try to keep an open mind when reading his stuff), but there must be some concern about this if it's being written about in an editorial in the Washington Times (earlier in the week):

EDITORIAL: The Civil War of 2016
U.S. military officers are told to plan to fight Americans
http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2012/aug/7/the-civil-war-of-2016/

Imagine Tea Party extremists seizing control of a South Carolina town and the Army being sent in to crush the rebellion. This farcical vision is now part of the discussion in professional military circles.

At issue is an article in the respected Small Wars Journal titled “Full Spectrum Operations in the Homeland: A ‘Vision’ of the Future.” It was written by retired Army Col. Kevin Benson of the Army's University of Foreign Military and Cultural Studies at Fort Leavenworth, Kan., and Jennifer Weber, a Civil War expert at the University of Kansas. It posits an “extremist militia motivated by the goals of the ‘tea party’ movement” seizing control of Darlington, S.C., in 2016, “occupying City Hall, disbanding the city council and placing the mayor under house arrest.” The rebels set up checkpoints on Interstate 95 and Interstate 20 looking for illegal aliens. It’s a cartoonish and needlessly provocative scenario. . .

. . .The scenario presented in Small Wars Journal isn’t a literary device but an operational lay-down intended to present the rationale and mechanisms for Americans to fight Americans. Col. Benson and Ms. Weber contend, “Army officers are professionally obligated to consider the conduct of operations on U.S. soil.” This is a dark, pessimistic and wrongheaded view of what military leaders should spend their time studying.

A professor at the Joint Forces Staff College was relieved of duty in June for uttering the heresy that the United States is at war with Islam. The Obama administration contended the professor had to be relieved because what he was teaching was not U.S. policy. Because there is no disclaimer attached to the Small Wars piece, it is fair to ask, at least in Col. Benson’s case, whether his views reflect official policy regarding the use of U.S. military force against American citizens.

(underlining is mine to emphasis the point)

If there wasn't anything to be concerned about, why would a reputable source like the Washington Times write about it--what do they know that we don't?

As one of the commentators after the article mentioned, they doubt the Tea Party would start the insurrection.  Along those lines, I wanted to mention that there is a TP rally next weekend here in Cleveland and Michelle Malkin is scheduled to speak. . .well, I just read that the Occupy goons are planning on being there as a counter-protest--I pray that there won't be any confrontations and that this doesn't ignite the "spark" that BHO might want (and may be provoking from behind closed WH doors) to initiate Martial Law--DH and I are hoping to go! ( http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2012/08/occupy-announce-plans-to-cr...)

I'm so glad you posted this article, Nancy -- I missed it this week and I do have confidence in the Washington Times.   It would be wise to stress to all Tea Partiers that they need to keep a cool head no matter what happens to them.

The Occupy "gang" may try to provoke our people into a fight.  It could be just what Obama is counting on -- that the Tea Party people would appear to be domestic terrorists.   They must not act as if they are threatening towards anyone -- or they will be playing right into Obama's hands.

It might even be helpful for our people to do what M.L. King's protestors used to do back in the 1960s -- lock hands and sing -- not we shall overcome, but "God Bless America" -- !

Thank God Romney picked a conservative, Paul Ryan.  Thank God he did not pick a running mate who was not a natural born citizen.
