Sometimes this regime does things that defy explanation. Some things they do defy the imagination. Some of these things, well you just can’t make this stuff up.
Janet Napolitano, the Chief Clown at the United States Department of Barney Fife has announced a trusted traveler program with Mexico.
The trusted traveler program is a program by which Mexicans who have undergone background checks can be waived through customs without an inspection.
Am I just being a little paranoid here or does anyone else see a problem. Perhaps, I should invoke the famous words of Lloyd Bridges in the movie Airplane. “It looks like I picked the wrong week to quit drinking.”
What could possibly go wrong with this program?
Well, let’s see. Just recently, two ‘vetted’ travelers were caught smuggling marijuana into this country. The Department of Barney Fife is quick to point out that there are still random checks of people coming into the country. Oh, I feel better already. I can see the Barney Fife’s at the airport now, doing a random check. “Hello Jose, aka Mohammad. Is that a backpack nuke or are you just happy to see us? You can move along.”
Larry Deaver, the Sheriff of Cochise County Arizona, who drug cartels have put a bounty on his head, states the obvious when he says the cartels will figure out the loopholes and use them.
I know I feel better sleeping at night knowing we are using Mexican law enforcement is our partner in this venture. After all, it’s not like the Mexican police department is known for corruption and bribery is unheard of south of the border. Right?
Chief clown Napolitano wants us to believe this system is safe. Maybe she hasn’t picked the right week to quit sniffing glue. She is the same clown who claims our border is secured. You remember our border. It is the one that has more holes than Sponge Bob Square Pants. She is the same clown who claimed the system worked when the underwear bomber blew his BVD’s off and nearly took a plane with him.
This past week, after a brave Border Patrol Agent was murdered by Mexican bandits, Napolitano, the bozo said, “It would be wrong to conclude from Agent Terry’s death as well as the killing of long time Southern Arizona Rancher Robert Krentz that violence is on the rise or rampant on the border.”
Forget the glue, her brain cells are on the endangered species list.
Which takes us back to the trusted traveler program.
We are dependent on a government that willfully ignores illegal immigration, refused to protect its own citizens, partners with a foreign government, known for corruption and intimidation by drug cartels to control our customs enforcement in this country.
Somehow, I think disaster of biblical proportions does not even begin to describe what we are about to see.

Permalink Reply by James Wilkinson on December 21, 2010 at 8:09am Has anyone ever heard of National Security? Law abidding citizens can not get on an airplane without jumping through hoops and they want these people to come and go as they please!
We ought to go ahead and offer 'miles.'

Permalink Reply by Debrajoe Smith-Beatty on December 21, 2010 at 9:39am NO Robin we do not have to live with this. Our governing documents, the Constitution gave us the tools to remove these people from office. All it requires is that we make up our minds that we will not tolerate this illegal government. The charges are VIOLATION OF OATH OF OFFICE. It can be looked up on the internet and or at the public library, and it tells us what we need to know to do so. I choose to live in the USA, under freedom.

But what else would you expect? After all, George Soros and his thugs have done an excellent job of infiltrating the government and society in general. I only hope it's not too late to stop them and turn this country back in the right direction.
Permalink Reply by Debrajoe Smith-Beatty on December 21, 2010 at 9:54am Angela it is not to late. We have to put our energy into action. Recall elected representatives who are not doing their job: VIOLATION OATH OF OFFICE. Our governing documents gave us, the citizens the tools to do this. We have talked, we have complained, now comes the plan of action. Let's take it. We owe this must to our future generations of American citizens.
Permalink Reply by Sumsanity on December 21, 2010 at 9:58am Why is there a Department of Homeland Security anyway? What use is it? Another government agency that jealously guards its turf, (and fat government jobs) and fails to share information with the NSA, the CIA, the FBI, ICE, TSA etc, etc. Get rid of them. Hire more FBI agents..But the government sees every crisis as an opportunity to grow and thereby need more of our tax dollars. And its not Democrats alone, the Republicans are just the same.
Permalink Reply by Douglas W. Dragert on December 21, 2010 at 10:20am Let's see...Homeland Insecurity will not protect our border with Mexico where Americans are getting killed by Mexicans yet we are helping secure the Guatamalian border with Mexico to keep Guatamalans from getting killed by Mexicans. Is there some plot by the government to drive us all crazy? Or maybe I'm just not smart enough to figure out what the hell is going on.
Permalink Reply by Debrajoe Smith-Beatty on December 21, 2010 at 11:49am Douglas - what is going on is that the American citizens will not do anything to protect their own freedoms. They complain but will not stand up and tell the government to stop, that is what is going on. This could be stopped ASAP, but people perfer to keep their heads in the sand, and cry poor pity me.
Permalink Reply by Pete Covert on December 21, 2010 at 11:06am The question that's begged and no one has broached is – If we can do this for foreign nationals why can’t we do this for at least law abiding American citizen frequent travelers? Oh, I forgot that would be reverse profiling. That would be too logical. That would require less tsa. Less government…... Sorry, I was being an ordinary, stupid American citizen that can’t think for ones self
