We no longer live in an age of courage. This is especially true for the leaders of American corporations. They would have to improve tremendously to simply be cowards.
Coke has done it and I have purchased my last coke.
What is going on?
The left decided to launch a boycott of Coke and Wal-Mart because they are members of the America Legislative Exchange Council. ALEC is a great organization that helps get conservative laws passed primarily at the state level.
The Party of Treason along with some of the other usual far left suspects decided to boycott Wal-Mart and Coke because of their membership in ALEC.
ALEC does a lot of things but they have been very instrumental in helping get voter ID laws past. The Party of Treason is the prime mover for voter fraud in this nation. The Democrats follow the words of their hero Joseph Stalin, who said “It is not who votes that counts. It is who counts the votes.” With fraudulent voters, the Democrats make sure the votes that count are the votes that help them steal elections.
Wal-Mart stood firm against the boycott.
Coke, on the other hand, ran with full hysterical agitation, begging to surrender to the far left. Coke immediately announced its complete and unconditional surrender in a manner that would make the French proud.
There was a time when American corporate leaders actually acted like leaders. No more. Today business school eliminates any backbone a future executive might have. Once these now cowardly lions are released to the business world, as soon as they are confronted by some type of controversy, they stumble around like newly castrated cattle.
Just for once it would be nice to see a Corporate CEO show some spine, extend a middle finger to these far left groups and give a suggestion for them and the horse they rode in on.
Coke has the right to be cowardly.
We have the right to teach them a lesson in free market economics.
We are under no obligation to buy coke products. If Coke wants to be that way, we do not have to buy coke.
Pepsi has soft drinks and in some other parts of the country there are some regional alternatives. In the South we have RC Cola.
Boycott Coke products.
If they want to surrender to the far left, fine. But there are twice as many conservatives as there are liberals. Even among moderates, a lot of people understand the need for voter ID laws and support them.
Coke could have stood up and shown some courage. Instead they chose to surrender.
No more Coke.

Permalink Reply by Larry Self on April 4, 2012 at 9:18pm It is always better to put actions to your feelings, rather than doing nothing. When Pepsi screws up we'll let them know at that time. You have to pick your battles. I won't be buying Coke at the store or at any restaurant for now. I'm in.
Permalink Reply by PJ Stoler on April 4, 2012 at 9:22pm You got that right. I haven't supported Pepsi because they are anti God and I am not sure but I think they have their hands in Halal requirements.
Coke is with the environmental wackos. I don't have anything to do with either of them.
i would suggest to buy the wal mart brand it's cheaper and just as good or try dr. pepper i have not heard if they are cowards of the leftest.
Dr Pepper is owned by Coke, sorry.
Try buying flavored syrups by yoo-hoo etc. and add it to seltzer as they did at the turn of the 20th century.

I looked it up. Dr. Pepper was owned by Cadbury-Schweppes until 2010, when it was spun off as the Dr. Pepper-Snapple Group. Dr. Pepper-Snapple is not owned by Coke or Pepsi, but it uses Coke and Pepsi as bottling partners. RC Cola is also owned by Dr. Pepper-Snapple Group.
Buying Dr. Pepper, Snapple, or RC Cola supports Coke and Pepsi indirectly, but it's not the same as buying a Coke or Pepsi product directly.
Permalink Reply by Matthew Johnson on April 4, 2012 at 10:42pm Dr. Pepper is a subsidiary of Coca Cola. Check on the bottle or can. It's a favorite of my family, we're quite familiar with it.
Pepsi is a competitor of Coca Cola. They are not connected at all. But to make sure of the facts I googled the company and look what I found instead! It's disgusting! I guess now I know why Israel doesn't buy Pepsi.
Permalink Reply by Doug Nicholson on April 5, 2012 at 12:28am Correct, Matthew & Robert. From Wikipedia: "In the United States, Dr Pepper Snapple Group does not have a complete network of bottlers and distributors, so the drink is sometimes bottled under contract by Coca-Cola or Pepsi bottlers."
Permalink Reply by Melissa Ortiz on April 4, 2012 at 7:51pm I will not drink Pepsi products. I don't know if I can get RC here in DC. As a native of Atlanta, home of Coke, I am embarrassed. I know the Chandler family is turning their respective graves.
