Relations between some parts of the Republican Party and the Tea Party have been, to put it mildly, not great.

The establishment does not like us.

Not only do they not like us, they want us to quietly fade away and just leave politics to them.

Jon Ward writing in the Huffington Post talked to some establishment Republicans who gave their opinions of the Tea Party movement.  They don’t like us because we do not behave like good little Republicans.

From the Huffington Post:

"There is a respect for the money they can bring to bear on Republican primaries, but there is also an annoyance that they don't spend more energy trying to defeat Democrats and instead spend a lot of their time attacking Republicans," said John Feehery, a former House Republican leadership aide.

Feehery pointed out that most Tea Party groups are generally only effective in statewide races when the state itself is very conservative or in congressional races when the district leans heavily to the right.

"They can be a force in primaries, but it's not like they're an organized force. It's more like an organized mob," Feehery said. "It's viewed through the prism of 'these guys don't know what the hell they're talking about.'"

It is inevitable that party loyalists whose sole job it is to win elections would look askance at activists who challenge them during the primaries but then come and join their team in a general election.

The establishment Republicans do not want the Tea Party involved at all in Republican politics.  I saw this first hand yesterday on Capitol Hill.

I was up there with another Tea Party leader.  We went into the office of a good Representative who supports the Tea Party.  We spent several minutes asking how we could help this Representative, who is in a tough reelection fight.  The Representative’s Chief of Staff is a long time establishment Republican.

He made it very obvious that he did not want our help.   His boss could lose but it would not matter as long as the Tea Party was not involved.

This is the type mentality we face.  Even those of us who were Republicans long before the Tea Party’s advent in 2009 are pretty sick of this attitude.  We ended up walking out of the office.  If this guy wants his boss to lose, so be it.

The problem the GOP has is they do not want to accept the fact that the Tea Party is the heart and soul of the Republican Party.  A decade ago, conservative activists were content to work for candidates, go home after the election and not really pay attention to what they were doing.

No more.

The establishment Republicans brought the Party down almost to its demise.   The Tea Party brought the GOP back.  It is time the GOP learns, if it is going to survive as a party, the Tea Party is going to be a major part of the party and the GOP is going to work with us.

If not, let’s see how long the Party lasts without us.

The establishment sentiment???...or the article???...

I am considered a 'freak', and a 'loose cannon' in GOP establishment circles...because I tell them the truth...

The warning shots have gone out over their bow at many State conventions...which is why they are badmouthing us...

The writing is on their wall, and they don't like it...

You got that right! WHY does the GOP think so many people want a Third Party ( which, of course, as Ross Perot inadvertently showed us--does not work!) ?   As far as I'm concerned, the only TRUE conservative Patriots in this Country ARE the Tea Party Members!!!! Give yourselves a thumbs-up, Patriots! The GOP needs to wake up to Convictions 202--

and cut the Smoozing in Congress. You call Boehner a Republican?

Sounds good to me; sound thinking. The problem with GOPs is they believe the middle ground wins. Truth be told, it is the best candidate who wins. People want leadership! People want to be able to TRUST their elected representative to do the job they are elected to do. If we want a left-wing Damnocrat we will elect one but if we want our rights preserved, we elect someone who promises to follow the Constitution and the inalienable rights delineated by the writers of said Constitution...
GOD SAVE AMERICA
PLEASE REMEMBER THIS: The purpose of this election is to sack B.H.Obama! Anyone is better that Obama(except J Biden, and most of those Damnocrats) We conservatives must coalesce, stick together to elect the better of the 2 candidates.
Now let's see, we have Obama and Romney; hmmmm who do I prefer out of those 2? Now if I don't vote for Mitt, then Obama will win. (note to self - I must vote for Mitt Romney, end of sermon!)

Morons like Feehery are responsible for the GOPs losses in 2006/2008 and the lack of vision in the GOP. The TEA Party brought the GOP back into relevance in 2010. The thankless establishment GOP are an arrogant collection of @sskissing second rate intellects who think that playing games with the left and fleecing the American public are parlor games with no consequences.

Newsflash to Feehery and the rest of the morons at the establishment GOP....... without conservatives/TEA Partiers you will never win another election. In fact, the GOP will fade into irrelevance quickly and the new alternative to the left will attract what was once their party membership minus the poisonous progressive element.

I had always thought that we could win this battle only with an indirect assault. Here is one prime example:

When we quietly begin a constructive campaign to bring about 100% literacy in America, the good is on our side. And in doing so, we set sights on eliminating a potent faction of the Democrats voting block! Consider this for a minute: "If you can't read English at a 4th grade level, you don't vote." That's what my book proposes! Please visit www.eisforenglish.net if you are interested. This would eliminate about 7% of participants in the electorate! Draw your own conclusion!

Our politicians are mostly concerned with their own careers. I support term limits. I believe that Governor Perry had a brilliant idea regarding "cutting Congressional pay in half and making it a part time job." Many congressmen today will not even make themselves available or accessible to their constituents!

Eliminating pensions for Congressmen and Senators would be another good step. Why can't they have a 401k like the rest of us? Why can't their pension entitlement accruals be placed into the Social Security general fund? And, for those politicians who voted for Obamacare, it's only fair that they participate in the very program that they are attempting to press on the population!

Want to return to the Gold standard? Realistically, how? It would be shock therapy and many of our people, especially those on fixed incomes couldn't survive. Perhaps there is another way. I think I have figured it out...You might too when you read G. Edward Griffin's "The Creature from Jekyll Island."

I will give Governor Romney one credit: He made it clear that it was "not fair for public sector workers to be paid more than private sector workers." It's insane how these privileged people, supposedly serving their countrymen have been allowed to "skip participation in the recession." Think about it!

Actually, it's pretty simple. We make right to work the law in all 50 states and we eliminate collective bargaining rights for public sector workers.  Then, we pass the "E" Amendment. Positive changes will immediately follow.

I stand with you Judson. This is the biggest trouble I have with Mittens. People will ask me why I am not thrilled with Mittens, when I answer I generally say "There are a million and one things that I don't like, but the biggest is that he refuses to embrace the Tea Party." I normally get a nod of agreement. I have gotten calls for donations from the Republican party...I laugh and tell them "I have $300.00 to Donate, that money can be yours...IF you can prove to me that the Republicans are all about the Tea Party, you can't so don't even try, when I see it, that's when I will Donate to you all, until then all of that money goes to where ever the Tea Party needs it. Oh and by the way, it's $300.00 A MONTH!" I hang up and 9 times out of ten I get a call back from a higher up that tells me that Republican party IS all about the Tea Party. So where is the love? I don't see it in any of the establishment, None, zip, zero, zilch....that's when they start getting mad. Laugh and hang up. They have stoped calling me. :D We are the third party. I know that we have talked about NOT doing it, but we have no other options. We have to worry more about saving the USA than about weather or not we are a hinderance being third party. The Republicans SUCK!!! :) Sorry the Establishment...Reublicans.

Katie:

As my Grandpa would say, "WE have a Bad Pack of Plunder" for our "Representive Government" !

We The People have been "played as fools" for many years. The political parties have taken our money, created propaganda to feed us about "their plan for victory over the opposition party". They have deceived us and most of all....."Misrepresented The Will of Those they purport to represent".

Our astute Constitutional Founders warned that political parties, national bank and foreign involvements could destroy our "Consitutional Republic".

We "Stand at a Crossroads".......do we "Trust the Guidance of Our Founders" or "Trust the Wisdom of International Elites that say that "All The World Will Be Better Off, If All place their money, military and governmental control Under One International Authority"??

Has Europe (that Our Founders left) advanced to a more "civil and honorable society"  than "The Divine Rights of Kings & Queens that they fled" and Now we can Trust Our Freedom to the "Majority of the World" ?

Wake up America!

How many times do I have to say it? Romney is not "YET" the GOP nominee. Romney is the "PRESUMPTIVE NOMINEE". We have from now to the conclusion of the RNC Convention in August to choose a candidate from the "Best of the Best" candidate list.

Romney is merely the better of two evils when Obama is on the other side of the coin. What happens when, if in four years from now, it is Romney vs another Democratic candidate because we allow it to be? Do we again choose from the better of two evils? How long do we keep this up? Nothing is going to change until We stand together and fight for a better Party, a better Government. If We do not stand now, We will not stand in four years because nothing is going to change unless We make it so. So why wait another four years then another four years, ect?

Become a delegate if you can, talk to the delegates that exist now and at the RNC Convention in August cast your vote along with all that are of our mind set for any but Romney - create an open/busted convention - then nominate Sarah Palin as President and Allen West as VP.

A Palin/West Presidency would not only ensure that a restoration of America would begin but together We would ensure control of the Executive Branch and the DOJ for the next 16 plus years and We would strike a mighty blow to the heart of the Beast that resides within the Democratic and Republican Party.

We would also regain control of the out of control Supreme (Liberal) Court through Presidential appointment. As well as allowing Us are best chance of replacing the currupt members in Congress and the Senate with Tea Party Constitutional Conservatives.

Stop allowing yourself to be fooled into believing that Romney is our only choice and that the Republicans, as a whole, know what's best and is best.

We must fight and we must fight now! The Republicans, as a whole, are never going to fight as evident by their lack of fighting.

Join me in electing Palin and West, please. If you need more information on how We can do this, you can statrt by contacting Sarah Palin's Earthquke Movement on Facebook. There they can provide you with the details and RNC Rules 38 and 40 which gives Us the power we need. And if end the end, come November 6th, Romney is the nominee then by all means cast your vote for Romney.

Please take time to watch and read this. This is HISTORY, not the machine's spin. What we (Palin supporters for President) are attempting is not some far-fetched idea. It has been done before.
