In the old Star Trek Movie, “The Wrath of Khan,” Starfleet officers are faced with what is called the no-win scenario.    We are five and a half months away from the election that will send Barack Obama packing.

But are we looking at a no-win scenario?

It could be a no win scenario.

Here’s how it could play out.

What if Barack Obama wins the popular vote but loses the Electoral College vote.  This is entirely possible.

Between huge numbers of dead people voting in places like Chicago and California and a number of blue states going overwhelming for Obama, it is entirely possible Obama could win the popular vote by a significant margin.

Yet, enough states could go for Romney to give him the win.

What would happen?

We have seen this before.  In 2000, the election results were tied up in Florida for weeks.  Finally, the Supreme Court stepped in and stopped the efforts of the Democrats to steal the election.

When the Supreme Court ruled in Bush v. Gore, Al Gore conceded.

What would Barack Obama do?

Does anyone believe that being the narcissist that he is, he would simply cede the election?  Obama ignores the Constitution anyway, so would it surprise anyone if he demanded to be sworn in for a second term based on winning the popular vote?

How would the nation react to this?

Would the blue states demand Obama while the red states demand the constitution be followed?  What would happen after that?  Would we see a civil war or a break up of the United States, as we know it?

For years, a Russian social scientist has been predicting the breakup of the United States.  He most recently predicted it would come in 2010.   His prediction of where the United States would split showed a lack of understanding of this nation but the factors he cited were pretty much on target.

In this election, like no other election, we fight for the heart and soul of America.  If Barack Obama wins the popular vote and Mitt Romney wins the Electoral College, there will be huge pressures placed on this nation to ignore the Constitution, rewrite the Constitution or break the nation up.

The only way to prevent that is for America to thoroughly defeat Barack Obama.  That means we have make sure that we get every real American to the polls to vote against Obama.

Yes, this does mean voting for Mitt Romney.  As appalling as that is, it is the only way to stop Obama from a second term.

It may be the only way to save America as one nation, indivisible.

This would be a 'Democracy', not a Constitutional Republic, and the END of America.

If we keep holding our noses and voting for people who doesn't represent our positions on the issues, because the ruling class tells us to, the representative republic is already dead.

We need to put principle before party.  Now and forever.

Michigan had its Republican State Convention this past weekend.  The incumbent for National Committeeman, Saul Anuzis, is working to get the NPV in Michigan.  The iCaucus and Tea Party people got a conservative state rep., Dave Agema, to go against Anuzis.  We had one month to work on it.  Agema beat Anuzis (the ol' party guy) by 70% to 30%.  This happened because tea party people are becoming precinct delegates, even though it means going to GOP meetings... and speaking up when we get there.  We can stop the NPV, but it will take work.

Joe, This is in the works in Michigan. This is why the current state committeeman for our Michigan GOP is now the PAST state committeeman. We had our convention this weekend and we soundly sent Saul packing 70% to 30%. He has been a paid shill for the NPV, admitted it, then blatantly lied when he said that he wasn't. Through FB, Twitter, and other social networking sites, he was gone. The NPV had come up in Michigan in 2008 but thankfully, enough people with cooler heads prevailed and it died in committee. However, the NPV has reared its ugly head. Most of us who are against it are attacking it from a constitutional point of view as in being unconstitutional as per Article 1, section 10, last para. And Federalist papers 45, 51, and 68. The way it was explained to me was that the states such as CA, NY, and DC would decide who the president would be.  It's a sad fact of life that we are all going to have to get behind Romney. It is the difference between the car going over the cliff at 100 MPH with Odrama as opposed to 90 MPH with Romney.

There may be another way to save America:

http://votingforjesus.com/

Read about it, pray about it, and then vote your conscience.

With the Mormon and the Marxist our choices, only God can save America now.

I have never, in the past, called names on a blog.

But, this is so serious, that it requires action.

Ginny, you are a nut.

If people did what you say, Obama would win hands down.

The only way to defeat Obama is to vote for the ONE person who can WIN against him  --  Romney.

You are absolutely right. What a strange worthless act this would be.

John, it is telling that "the first time you ever call someone a name on a blog", it is to call a Christian a nut. I will reply with,"Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse." (Romans 12:14). "Yes and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution." (2 Timothy 3:12).

The reproach that Christians may endure for standing for Jesus rather than a Marxist or Mormon, glorifies the Lord. "But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve... but as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord." (Joshua 24:15)

And lastly John, and all who would agree with him, God's Word says it quite plainly, "If you ever forget the LORD your God and follow other gods and worship and bow down to them, I testify against you today that you will surely be destroyed. Like the nations the LORD destroyed before you, so you will be destroyed for not obeying the LORD your God." (Deut 8:19,20) Sadly, America has been following other gods for far too long... 53 million babies aborted in America since 1973, while also paying for abortions in foreign lands, sanctioning of gay marriage, banning God from our schools and government... believe me, God himself has already chosen who the next President of the US will be. "He removes kings and sets up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding;" (Daniel 2:21). And God will know who chose Him, as Judson wisely titled this blog, in "the beginning of the end."

I choose Jesus... the one who first chose me.  :-)

Ginny, just because one doesn't vote for Jesus on their ballot does not mean that they aren't followers of Christ, or that they are for a marxist. Not just in voting at the poles, but every day we are to die to self and glorify the Lord. The Lord knows our hearts, and not voting Jesus on our ballots does not mean we have shamed him.

I am glad you choose Jesus, so do I. :)

Janet, thanks for the opportunity to clarify that I did not in any way say that if someone does not vote for Jesus on their ballot that they are not a follower of Christ. As you say, the Lord knows our hearts. I simply posted the www.voteforjesus.com link, and said to read it, pray about it and then vote your conscience.  Many of us Christians are struggling because we do not want to vote for someone who is so anti-God of the Bible as Obama and Romney. We are trying to trust and obey, as He tells us in 2 Chronicles 7:14, "If my people, who are called by my name, humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land."  I will defend the right of a fellow Christian to vote differently than I do, praying that whatever decision they make, it is made prayerfully and fully informed. Because I am a Christian who cannot fathom voting for two people I contend to be anti-God does not mean that a fellow Christian who has prayerfully decided to vote for one of them is less Christian than I. It is up to the Body of Christ to seek and determine His will and guidance in his/her life. "PRAY THE VOTE!" might be a good slogan for all of us Christians... but no matter who is President of the U.S., God is still in control. He will not be wringing His hands after the election because everything is working together for His glory, Amen? :-)

I should have typed www.votingforjesus.com above. Sorry for the error.

This is just too stupid for words.
