In a perfect world or even a fair world, Newt Gingrich would be wrapping up the Republican nomination for President.
Life is not fair.
Newt hangs on, like a bloodied and battered Rocky, refusing to throw in the towel.
Newt was the amazing candidate of this election. He came back from the political dead several times.
Newt was the candidate of ideas. Newt was the candidate Obama feared. Obama never mocked or worried about anything Mitt Romney said or for that matter any other republican said. He worried about what Newt said.
When Obama attacked the Republicans, he attacked Newt’s ideas. Obama mocked Newt’s idea of $2.50 a gallon gas.
America’s future, at least at the Presidential level is bleak. We will either have a President who is an anti-American Marxist or his potential replacement is not only a liberal, but is basically a soulless technocrat
For Mitt Romney, the current situation our nation faces is simply a problem to be solved. There is no good or evil in solving a problem. There is simply the proper solution that works.
The problem is we are dealing with our nation.
Men and women do not willingly sacrifice themselves for a spreadsheet or for a government. Men and women will gladly sacrifice themselves for a cause greater than themselves.
The problems America now faces are more than simply a problem to be solved. The answer is not the correct monetary policy. It is not a question of whether the right system is used.
Freedom and liberty are causes for which people are passionate about. People do not rise up just because don’t happen to like the way someone talks. The question for freedom and liberty is a universal hunger.
Newt the historian understood this better than the other candidates.
He knew this campaign was not a sterile process of selecting a CEO. This was a contest of ideas. America needs the passionate ideas of a visionary to pull us away from the abyss. We need a Ronald Reagan, Thomas Jefferson and a George Washington.
Newt was not any of those men but he was the best candidate in the race.
Newt’s ideas were so far beyond everyone else’s that when he would make a point in a debate, the other candidates would simply nod like bobble heads.
This Easter weekend, Rick Santorum is meeting with some of his supporters. They will be talking about the future of his campaign. Newt can no longer win. Santorum’s chances are becoming slim.
Americans are not a people who look back. But this time, no matter what happens this fall, next year we may well be looking back wondering what might have been.
Thank you Newt.

Rick Sanrorum as Sec of State. I am sure that Santorum would be the fist Sec of State to stop the anti Israeli bias,that has always plagued the State Dept. move the US embassy to Jerusalem, state catagorically, that Jerusalem is the undivided capital of Israel
And help to stop the hatred of Israel by people who have no idea of the truth. People who are led by the Arabs with lies about Israel, and stop them saying that the Jews treat the Palestinians worse than the Nazis treated the Jews.
The problem is, that the Arab propaganda is outstanding, and the people who have never met a Jew (14 million in the whole world) 1.5 billion Muslims, and something like over 1 billion Christians, who swallow the Arab lies.
Time for the world to wake up to reality and stop the BDS campaign.

presidential candidates should be given a spending limit. they should be allotted the same amount of airtime.
no news organization should be allowed to cheerlead, or distribute lies, propaganda, if they do their licenses should be permanently revoked. lobbyists should be run out of the electoral process, that, or tar & feather them. the process is totally corrupt. now we have a choice of either electing the enemy, or a stuffed suit for president. i will vote the stuffed suit, but out of everyone who ran it should have been newt. the republican party early on decided it would be romney. ($$$).

Romney learning to "act better and speak better" is NOT what is needed. Romney does not value nor embrace conservative principles and values. Romney, as Governor, ignored the MA constitution and ordered the issuance of same sex marriage licenses when under NO compulsion to so do, and under every lawful constraint and reason NOT to. Lastly, the natural order in a constitutional republic of sovereign citizens is that the people delegate such powers as they deem best to the State, which does likewise to the federal government, while the PEOPLE retain ALL rights not so delegated. Unless the citizens of any State delegate power to be compelled to buy anything, the State has no such power inherently. Yet again, Romney signed legislation violating the inalienable Rights of the citizens of MA. Well intentioned? Possibly, but good intentions are the worst, most devious excuse for imposing tyranny on a free people.
I will try to support the GOP nominee. However, if Romney is that nominee then every God fearing lover of Law, constitutions, and Liberty will have a crisis of conscience. If a better candidate than EITHER Obama or Romney is on the ballot, or if a "write-in" option is available, I will ask God to enlighten my decision.
I want Obama defeated, I want it very much. However, if the GOP can not offer us at least a minimally acceptable candidate, then it will be undeserving of my vote. If Hitler ran against Goebbels ... ought we vote for either??? Now before anyone freaks out or overreacts, I am neither comparing Obama to Hitler nor Romney to Goebbels. But I am demonstrating that our votes in our constitutional republic are precious, and ought not be cast "as pearls before swine!"
This is why many say as yet the GOP has no nominee, and an open convention is far better than a surrender to Romney.

If every "Person of Color " in The United States of America had voted for Obama in 2008....he would not have won....without 16% of white votes. The same is true in 2012.
This fact does not seem to resonate with all of the "People of Color".
Skin color still seems to be a major factor.

He is just another I,Me,Myself politician that sacrificed this country for his gain and in the end lost along with causing great harm to our country. How much money did Santorum get from the left to continue his campaign so Newt would not get the nomination. The left puts money where it will do the most destruction and that was in Santorum's campaign. A phony conservative at best. Pray, Pray, Pray and continue doing so night and day. Only GOD can help us get out of this hellish nightmare that we have let blow in fast. Send money to Patriot Action Network Pac to elect conservative candidates. If the 60% or more of conservatives sent money to conservative pacs such Jim De Mints and others then we would be able to face the marxist head on. It does take money. If 180,000,000 so called conservatives donated $10.00 that would be $1,800,000,000 to fight the evil one. I know that the figures are high. Just cut in half and there is still close to a billion. There are conservatives that could donate more than $10.00 so let's get going. List the Pacs that vet, support and work to elect conservatives and defeat obozo and his band of thieves and thugs.

Newt does not have enough spunk to go over the top unless it goes to open RNC.
And we are all going to have to bite our grits, hold our noses, ands pull the lever for Romney just to keep "Me, Myself and Irene" from a re-win.
(Or was that Dumb and Dumber I am relating too).
