Last night, in the dark of the night, 2010 slipped away and 2011 arrived.

As 2010 fades into the history books, I can’t help but look back with gratitude.  In 2010, the Tea Party movement took the lead and stopped the advance of the Obama/Pelosi/Reid axis of fiscal evil.   We took the House back and in four more days (January 5), we will have, allegedly, a conservative majority in the House.

2010 was a great personal year.  I had the chance to meet a lot of wonderful people and make some wonderful friendships.   Tea Party Nation became the top ranked Tea Party Website and there are so many people to thank for that happening. First, I have to thank Sherry.  Without her help, Tea Party Nation would not be where it is today.  TPN has a wonderful Board of Advisors and I cannot thank them enough.  Finally, there is you, the members of Tea Party Nation.  Thank you so much for all that you have done for this great country in 2010 and for 2011, in the words of Ronald Reagan, “You ain’t seen nothin’ yet!”

As we roll into 2011, I have made a number of resolutions. I like resolutions for the New Year.   If you don’t like the idea of New Year’s resolution, consider it New Year’s planning.  In the words of Benjamin Franklin, those who fail to plan, plan to fail.

I have a number of resolutions or plans for 2011.

First, I am going back on a vegetarian diet.  I did this in 2009 and dropped forty pounds.  I fell off the wagon and have put thirty-nine of them back on.

Second, I am rearranging my economic priorities.  2010, personally, was a very tight year.  Thanks to the Obama economy, my personal income has dropped significantly.    When I have to buy something, first I am looking for people who are members of the Tea Party movement or who support the Tea Party movement.  My first choice for spending money will be with fellow patriots.  When buying goods, my first choice is going to be made in America and if I cannot find made in America, I am not buying it unless I absolutely have to have it.   I am also going to start making a list of those corporations who have been in bed with the party of treason.  They are not getting any of my money.  One of the things I hope to do this year on Tea Party Nation is name and shame them.  I will be putting out the word on some of these corporations and encouraging people to seek alternatives.

Third, 2011 is the year of the 2012 elections.  Yes, we will not go to the ballot box until 2012, but the fighting that will decide the elections is already going on.  This year, TPN wants to help get good conservative candidates into the fight.  Anyone who is thinking about running for any office in 2012, if they have not started some preparations by March, they are not serious.  This is particularly true of the major offices, such as Federal and State offices.  The resources needed are simply so great that if you do not start that far in advance, you have almost no chance.  TPN is going to be working on a couple of projects to help candidates and we will be announcing those in the next few weeks.

Fourth.  The election of 2012 will be the epic battle of our lifetimes.   One of the untold stories of the 2010 election was the massive amount of voter fraud that occurred.  In traditionally liberal states and states where liberals control the election process, fraud was rampant.  It affected the outcome of some elections.  Over the last decade, elections have changed from where conservatives need a simple majority to win to where conservatives need a fraud proof majority to win.  This has to stop.   2012 will be the climactic political battle.  IF we win, we can send socialism packing and work on dismantling it in America.  If we fail, socialism will win and it will be the end of a free United States. The left knows this.   Much of what they tried out on a small scale last time will be repeated on a massive scale in 2012.  We must be prepared.

Like Ronald Reagan, I believe America’s best days are in front of her.  But belief is not enough.  Reagan also said freedom was never more than one generation away from extinction.  We are at that point.  In 2012, either we win and save freedom or lose and watch the light of liberty be smothered by socialism.

2011 will be a great year for all of us.

Happy New Year!

I agree with you wholeheartedly Judson, and especially applaud your second resolution to purchase Made In USA.  It is not as hard as you think BUT it will cost more because you will have to shop on line and pay for the shipping.  There are several web based businesses that produce products made in America, you just have to look.  It is time we ALL changed our buying habits and kept our money in our own communities, our States and the US!  Every dollar that is spent in your town on local goods has a "45" multiplier effect, in your State is a "17" multiplier effect.  Quite astonishing when you think about it.

Now if we can just convince our legislators that we need to start drilling in the US and ONLY using US oil those billions of dollars will stop going overseas--imagine what kind of a multiplier effect that would have on our economy!!

Happy New Year everyone.

I'm Baaccckkkk! Alive and kicking, doing GREAT! As Tony the Tiger would say. Judson, I recommend for losing weight a diet which was very successful for me. In the morning have cereal with milk, as much as you like so long as it contains no sugar. Whenever you feel hungry any other time of the day, have all of the salad which your appetite desires, WITHOUT dressing...

Thank you Judson! I will be looking forward to the list of Corporations that are in bed with this administration.  Several years ago I went on a quest to buy American.  It is not easy.  We don't make much.  Recently I was forced to buy light bulbs from China because that was all I could find after searching everywhere.
Hi!!! I agree with you. I always for "Made in USA" before I buy. The includes cars as you know, even if the jobs are in USA the profits go to foreign countries. We need to keep the profits in USA.
In our quest for "Made in America" we must be sure that these are American businesses, owned and operated by Americans and not foreigners with a tax abatement.
Yes the real task is now upon us.  The successes over the last year pale in comparison to that which looms before us in the next two years.  The Tea Party movement must remain relentless.  And don't forget to add the unions to your list.
Yes, ESPECIALLY the unions!!!
its time to bring obamas  eligibility  out into the light the minute he declares he's running for reelection.  we MUST DEMAND to see all those records he has paid millions to keep hidden. americans have every right to know everything about this man who squats in the WH and makes laws that affect everyone in the U.S .who commands our troops and is in charge of our security. even if he was born in hawwai, which i seriously doubt, his father was not an american citizen and that alone makes him ineligible to hold the office of CIC. he talks a good game about transparency except when it comes to himself .its also time to question why he was registered as a muslim when he attended school in jakarta and recieved financial aid  as a foriegn student.  no wonder he cringes everytime he has to say GOD.  if we make a big enough issue of his eligibility, he may decide NOT to run.
Is there anything made in the USA these days?  I retuned something to JC Penny and shared my concern with them that their quality had gone downhill.  The customer service lady told me that just about everything they sold was made overseas - 95%.  I was shocked.  She said it was hard to find a dept. store that was any different.
