Permalink Reply by JOhn E Nelson on December 25, 2010 at 8:23am I say NO, once you endorse a candidate, you are no Longer a bi-partisan organization, and this would kill the purpose of the Tea Party.
We want people of all parties to be members, so we can educate people on the issues and the candidates.
Once you endorse a candidate, Say a Republican, how many Democrat, Libertarin, Independent members do you
think you will have?
Your membership would take a big tumble.
We like to hold debate session with candidates running for office, if you endorse, you will not get many participants in your debate, what would be the purpose if you have already made a choice?
Merry Christmas
