Smack down, John Roberts style
One of the big questions buzzing around Washington this morning is whether John Roberts and other members of the United States Supreme Court will attend the State of the Union address tonight.
Last year, in Obama’s first State of the Union address, he attacked the Supreme Court for a six-day-old decision, called “Citizens United” which struck down most of the McCain-Feingold campaign finance bill.
Justice Samuel Alito mouthed a dissent when Obama spoke. Roberts held his peace in the chamber, but complained later. One could only wish he had the gumption of Joe Wilson and had simply stood up and shouted, “You lie!”
Obama has been itching for a fight with the conservative Supreme Court members knowing they will not fight back publicly. Perhaps they won’t, but if John Roberts had the backbone, he could make Obama’s life really interesting.
To start with, he could grant cert (permission to appeal to the Supreme Court, for the non-lawyers) on one of the Obama birth certificate cases. Preferably Orly Taitz’s case.
I, for one, believe that the evidence available, such as it is, makes it more likely than not that Obama was in fact born in Hawaii. Whether he lost his citizenship when he was adopted by a foreign national and moved to a foreign country is a different story. Obama has spent millions to keep his birth certificate private. Now, Hawaii’s governor Neil Abercrombie has stepped into it, first vowing to release the birth certificate, then saying it could not be located and finally saying Hawaii law prohibited the release of the document.
Obama could of course release the document. He has spent millions of dollars, in true liberal fashion by using other people’s money, to keep that birth certificate out of sight.
Why?
I happen to subscribe to the theory that there is something on that birth certificate that destroys the myth of Barack Obama. Myth destroyed, he simply fades away.
But back to John Roberts. Obama has been gunning for the conservative members of the Supreme Court. Even Harry Reid obliquely threatened Roberts and Alito with either impeachment or prosecution, claiming somehow they “lied” about their beliefs when they were being confirmed.
Roberts, if he were willing, could make Obama’s life very interesting. There are a number of cases, including the eligibility cases that could come before the Supreme Court. Roberts, Alito, Scalia and Thomas are the conservative four that can get any case up there they want, as it only takes four justices to grant cert. Justice Anthony Kennedy is the fifth, swing vote. He has already expressed his displeasure with the Obama regime, vowing not to retire while Obama was president. It is possible, if one of those cases did end up in front of the Supremes, by a 5-4 vote, they could order Obama to do something he really does not want to do.
The problem with the conservatives on the Supreme Court is they are mostly academic types. They believe that academic debate and discourse will allow all issues to be resolved. They do not realize that politics at times is a serious blood sport. Unfortunately, for us, this is a lot like a group of men from the country club having a street fight with some Chicago union thugs.
If John Roberts really wants to show Obama a thing or two, it only takes a couple of rulings to make that happen. Roberts has to realize he must be willing to get into a down and dirty fight. If he did, it could be one of the greatest services a Supreme Court Chief Justice ever rendered for America.

the question of whether the president is eligible to be president and not an imposter which i know he is an imposter is the kind of cases that only the supreme court can answer. it says whether the judges obama picked and the orders the president has made are legal or not. what can be more important than finding out the truth. would you want your kid to die fighting a war run by a legitimate president or illegitimate. its not political its finding the truth. he was supposed to hand the certificate over 2 years ago but the democratic congress did not make him but they made mccain do it. so who was being political?

I would like to jump in here Geno, The USSC has THE responsibilty to hear any case that may be a clear danger to our country and find the TRUTH!!. This is a Constitutional matter. WHO more than the USSC should do their duty as we the citizens pray for them and hold them up to the real King of us all. May the USSC be found rightous in the Judgement. May our land again be looked on as the Christian country we were in the begining no matter what fights are ahead. Lets be on the right side in God's eyes.
You wouldn't be trying to snick something over on us would you?

If the birth certificate ever got out of the bag there be a whole lot of people with far more than egg on their faces. Because they've gelped this socialistic closet-muslim hide his true birth place. And I, for one, believe he was --NOT-- born in Hawaii.

Talking about whether or not the Supreme Court has the courage to stop this madness is least of my worries. When will the American people wake up to what is happening and do something about it. As time goes along it seems to me words are useless, but what is needed on the part of Patriotic Citizens is ACTION.

I had this on video but I lost my job and lost the things I had in storage so can't produce the video but I can tell you what was on it and the fact that it proved Obama was not a natural born citizen.
I started long before the Tea Party working against Obama because of those videos. While Bush was in office I put 8 hr tapes in the recorder and let it run all day and then I would watch all the top news stories and comments on Fox and other media outlets. When Obama was running for and then elected to the Senate he was one of the main topics conversation on most media outlets including Foxnews. I believe what makes me the most outraged is that two of the shows this was discussed on were Hannity and ( old because I'm looking out for you) O'Reilly. Another show it was talked about on several times was Fox News Sunday but in that Chris Wallace is a dyed in the wool liberal so we than no less from him but the fact that the other two are now silent on the subject shows they are more worried about their jobs than they are about the country and the American people.
On Foxnews and other media outlets they discussed the fact with both Republicans and Democrats that Obama would be the Democrats best bet to Retake the White House in 2008 and they discussed the fact that he was not eligible to hold that office because he was not a natural born citizen. Later on Fox they reported that they had leaked information that showed that the Democrats were very quietly testing the waters to see if they could get enough votes for a Constitutional amendment that would allow non natural born citizens to become president. Why would they want this all of a sudden after 250 years unless they had a problem with their candidate? When they could not find the support for the amendment all of a sudden Obama was born in Hawaii. You try to find one picture of him before he was 3 years old and what kind of mother would have no pictures of her holding her infant but their are no pictures. When he was elected to the Senate he made a statement about how wonderful America was when a boy from a small village in Kenya could become a U S Senator but that has been removed from You Tube however they have his wife talking about his home country, Kenya, Africa. He was not asked to prove he was a citizen to become senator.
His birth certificate is only one of the many items he refuses to produce. He has produced no proof that he graduated from high school let alone college, why, because his citizenship status would be on them. All we have are friends of and members of the socialist groups he belonged to saying they went to school with him. We have seen nothing that shows he took or passed the Barr exams, he has not provide a selective service registration which all American males must register for by law. You can purchase yearbooks online and so I have tried several times to find yearbooks for the years he was in high school and college and guess what, those were the only yearbooks I could not find. Think someone bought them all, maybe?
I am sure that if people stop and think about it they will remember that they discussed this for several weeks.

i think angle won the election. acorn leader in nevada just got found guilty of voter fraud but a liberal judge let her off with a 2 year suspended sentence. she was ahead in the polls all the way to the election. over 400,000 tainted votes. what do you think.

Actually, Liberal Geno, what we looked like in November was what we were: the winners of the biggest conservative sweep into the United States government in many, many decades. This was not only at the national level, but also at the state and local levels of government, all across our big, beautiful nation! I am so happy and proud! We have won great gains, and will finish off the Left in 2012. Woo-hoo! I love watching the Libs squirm...it's fun!

The smack down Obama needs is against the law,not because he holds office illegally,it is because it is against law to hit mentally impaired fools. He will get the smack down comes and he is tried and convicted of terrorism against USA,and we the people will demand max. sentence.
