By now, almost everyone knows Scott Walker and his Lieutenant Governor Rebecca Kleefisch defeated the far radical left in the recall effort in Wisconsin yesterday. MSNBC hosts are still on suicide watch and Chris Matthews was last seen staggering down Pennsylvania Avenue wailing for the ghost of Dan Rather.
The Tea Party won last night but what is this going to mean? Who are the winners and the losers last night?
Scott Walker was the winner last night. So was Rebecca Kleefisch. That goes without saying. Walker took over half the vote and got more votes than he did two years ago. Walker’s star is clearly rising in the Republican Party. Conservatism is a big winner last night too.
The people of Wisconsin and other people are fed up the far left using the public treasury as the source of their funding. The people were receptive to Walker’s message of cutting lavish union benefits and eliminating programs that were simply a huge profit center for the unions.
The big loser last night was Barack Obama. Obama could not force himself to go to Wisconsin and campaign. Perhaps it was because the campaign was not about him. Bill Clinton went and that did not help him or the Wisconsin recall.
The far left and the Unions lost and were the biggest losers last night. The people of Wisconsin spoke loudly last night. They were tired of simply being cash donors for the unions and were tired of the union tactics.
The power of the left, namely their ability to extract public money to fund their activities has been severely diminished.
As we celebrate this win for the Tea Party and Conservatism last night, we need to look ahead at the dark clouds on the horizon.
Had Scott Walker lost last night, conservatives would have said they were disappointed and perhaps there would have been some accusations fraud, if there were some facts to support it.
What happened when Walker won?
The left went nuts. No longer do we have a situation where one side gracefully concedes and then starts to work on the next election. Leftists got on Twitter calling for Scott Walker’s death. These were not one or two tweets but a lot of them. Radical leftists yesterday were caught on video, which was on Breitbart.com saying they hoped Lieutenant Governor Rebecca Kleefisch would die from colon cancer. Kleefisch, the mother of young children, is a cancer survivor.
We are seeing a serious breakdown in the fabric of American society. The far left, which is basically anyone in the Democrat Party, does not believe in free and fair elections anymore. They do not believe in listening to the will of the people.
The far left loves power. It is what they crave. They do not care about minor issues like liberty and freedom. When they are losing power they go crazy.
Unfortunately now, they are becoming more and more unhinged and it is now only a matter of time before we see serious violence from the far left.
Yesterday, the Pew Research Center released a report showing that there is a major and almost un-crossable divide between real Americans and the far left. Americans have become more and more polarized.
For the left, they only want power. Their goal of obtaining power will destroy the American dreams of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
There can be no compromise with the left now. All we can do is go to the people, win and totally defeat the far left.
While we still can.
The Democratic party is not and never will be the party of our Fathers. It has been hijacked by the socialist and they are steady trying to do the same to the Republican party. Americans have been awakened and the fight for this country is on again. We have to win and destroy this progressive socialist invaders in order to regain the real Hope for America. It's obvious even from abroad that without America in the forefront, the world is not as safe as it should be. As for winners and losers, The people of Wisconsin are deffinately the real big winners and for the TEA PARTY to have a hand in it is just icing on the cake.. God Bless.
There were also 4 republican state senators up for recall. Three of them won handily, but the fourth is close enough that no winner has been declared. If the tally stands, then the Democrat challenger will win and the dems will have a one vote majority in the state senate. This will mean more arguing, more blocking of reform by the senate, more stalling, more demagoguery, basically the libs still throwing a tantrum, just maybe not quite as loudly, but perhaps more effectively if they can put some control on legislation. While we won big last night, we may not have won big enough.
By the way, one of the first pieces of legislation Walker put in to place was a voter photo id law. This was put on hold by a liberal judge (who had an anti-Walker sign in his yard and who signed a Walker recall petition) until after this election. Whether it will still be on hold come november remains to be seen.
The first word out of Scott's mouth should give us a CLUE to his Victory. He gave thank to God. ! WE must NEVER forget that! And continue to WORK and put our trust in GOD!!
It was a wonderful victory for both! And thanks to the Tea Party and Sarah Palin too!
Sally, indeed. Scott Walker is a fine Christian man, a Bible-believing Christian, a son of a pastor. I am so happy to see G-d listened to the prayers of His people and blessed one of His own. Praise G-d forever and ever!
I don't think that there was any doubt that there was voting fraud in Wisconsin. Unfortunately it looks to be a sign of things to come.
We are dealing with an opponent in Barack Obama who will stop at nothing to win. Everyone is aware of this. In some of the close states, a few thousand votes could make the difference in saving America and losing her! Therefore, there must be methods in place to curtail and preferably eliminate voter fraud. In my book, I outlined a plan that would totally eliminate it. Visit www.eisforenglish.net for more details.
Meanwhile, we must keep eyes on states like Ohio and Florida. Obama minions know that it will be in these states where the election will be won or lost. Now that Wisconsin looks to be in play, expect increased pressure on especially Ohio.
Another Brain Storm
Walker as VP. Rubio is not eligible. I sent my Congressman a letter asking him to reply on his eligibility and he has not.
He knows he is not a "natural born citizen".
Walker fits the bill and that surely as heck will upset the Libertards.
If he was to reply, he would have to admit guilt.
We need him in Wisconsin to complete the mission begun. He is perhaps a candidate for 2016. Not now.
I agree, Joana. Walker would make a great VP but Wisconsin needs him now, more than ever.
As we draw nearer to the November election, I hope the lessons of Walker's and Wisconsin's HUGE win are NOT lost on voters and politicians.....
In simple terms, Walker was first elected by promising to DO certain things to restore fiscal sanity to Wisconsin; once elected, he DID what he promised to do; when campaigning to retain his governorship, he told the voters what he had DONE! They applauded. And voted to retain him!
It's that simple ~~ and, for liberals/socialists/progressive and their bewildered spin-meisters, that complex!!!
What is getting missed is the countless personal contacts made by real people to confront real issues. These were conversations that were risky. Families have been differing, work places discussing, even church members in disagreement. The ground troops won this one not big money as the left is saying. Tea Party and other patriot groups rose to the occasion along with the many who are just fed up. Good work fellow citizens. When We the People work together we are awesome.
The whole issue of obama has caused a division between me and my brothers family, most are union members. I made one statement after the 08 election that obama was a big mistake and that's all it took to cause offense. They have isolated us from family gatherings and rejected our overtures for peace -- all due to politics. Too bad, I guess.
